Vera Xavier told Shirley Ewing and Fiona Wright, "You two go to the restaurant across from the school and order first. I’ll be there in a bit."

Vera Xavier smiled and said, "I’m just going to have a quick word with Mr. Shawcross. It’s nothing serious, I’ll be right over."
