Chapter 210: Die! Die
Beijasi scrambled up from the ground, clutching his chest. He glared in Lin Jingjing’s direction, his eyes filled with hatred.
‘How could this woman be so strong?’
A single slap sent him flying this far. He might really be no match for her.
But as soon as the thought crossed his mind, Beijasi’s face turned ashen.
He was the strongest. This woman could only fall at his hands.
With that, Beijasi stood up, spat out a mouthful of bloody foam, and focused his energy to begin transforming.
Standing in the distance, Lin Jingjing pushed up the glasses on her nose. With them on, she could see faraway places with perfect clarity, so she had an unobstructed view as Beijasi transformed from a man into a monster.
‘Another one turning from human to monster.’
‘I’ll never understand why they like looking so absurdly ugly.’ The sight of it disgusted Lin Jingjing.
After transforming, Beijasi was even more nauseating than Ni Sang. White slime constantly dripped from his body, which was completely encased in a black hide.
His hands had become black claws, his eyes were wide open, and his mouth had morphed into a gaping maw filled with fangs.
Looking at his appearance, Lin Jingjing was reminded of the puddle of black liquid from a movie.
But unlike the black liquid from that movie, Beijasi had a small figure growing out of his back.
This little figure wasn’t covered by the black liquid. As Lin Jingjing looked at its face, she fell silent.
Its body was covered in a dense cluster of eyes, making Lin Jingjing’s scalp tingle.
‘Just how many people’s eyes did this guy eat?’
The monstrous Beijasi shot toward Lin Jingjing in a single bound. Seeing him charge, Lin Jingjing raised a hand, and two layers of Protective Shields instantly enveloped her.
Beijasi’s fist smashed directly into the Protective Shield. The outer layer shattered to pieces.
These Shields were condensed from Lin Jingjing’s spiritual power. With one Protective Shield broken, her face instantly turned deathly pale.
Her head throbbed with a sharp pain, but it was still bearable for Lin Jingjing.
Seeing Lin Jingjing’s face turn pale, Beijasi laughed gloatingly.
As he laughed, the eyeballs on the small figure on his back spun rapidly.
“Hahaha, so that’s all you’ve got,” Beijasi said, looking at the fragments of the Protective Shield on the Hoverboard, feeling immensely pleased with himself.
Even though she couldn’t see his face, Lin Jingjing could still feel the triumphant smugness radiating from him.
‘Does he really think he’s guaranteed to defeat me?’
‘How ridiculous.’
“You seem quite proud of yourself.” Lin Jingjing gently raised her hand. The fragments of the Protective Shield on the Hoverboard flew into the air, slowly transforming into an assortment of weapons: swords, guns, and cannons.
The firearms remained by her side, while Lin Jingjing directed the Cold Weapons to attack Beijasi.
Somehow, when the swords she controlled cut Beijasi, the wounds that should have healed rapidly couldn’t close at all.
Beijasi stared at the wounds on his body, his eyes widening. He roared at Lin Jingjing in fury, “You bitch, what did you do to me?!”
Fueled by his rage, the eyes on the small figure on his back bulged grotesquely.
His anger caused the eyes to protrude even further, creating a bizarre and unsettling sight.
‘This thing is nothing like the monsters I’ve seen before. It’s fucking hideous.’
“I learned it from your colleague,” Lin Jingjing replied with a smile.
When Ni Sang’s fingernails injured someone, the wounds would heal extremely slowly, even after drinking two bottles of Recovery Potion.
After noting this characteristic, Lin Jingjing returned to the Monster Investigation Bureau and shared her idea with Feng He.
And Feng He was highly effective. He and Xiang Heng spent half a day developing such a drug.
Lin Jingjing took the drug before disembarking from the warship, so the physical objects she condensed with her spiritual power also had the special effect of inhibiting an enemy’s recovery.
She had only taken it as a precaution, but it had serendipitously played a crucial role.
Hearing that this was all because of Ni Sang, Beijasi grew even more frantic.
He threw his head back and howled, spewing vile curses. “Damn it, that dead bitch still causes trouble even after she’s gone! Utterly useless, just letting the enemy learn her own Skill.”
“The Young Master was too kind. A woman like that should have been ground to dust after she died!”
“Ni Sang, you bitch! You bitch!”
“You dead bitch!”
His rage triggered another mutation. The eyeballs on the figure on his back spun at high speed, and in his fury, they popped right out.
Countless eyeballs shot toward Lin Jingjing, while Beijasi’s body began to grow larger, secreting even more slime.
Lin Jingjing looked at the eyeballs with utter disgust. She raised her hand, using a conjured knife to skewer them all together.
Once they were skewered, countless golden spikes sprouted from the blade, popping all the eyeballs.
Black liquid splattered onto the weapons Lin Jingjing had formed from her spiritual power.
Beijasi’s mutation was also complete. The small figure on his back was gone, and all of its eyes had now appeared on Beijasi’s own body.
He was completely unrecognizable as a human. Beijasi had become a monster, plain and simple.
Beijasi’s voice now had an electronic distortion to it. “I’ll kill you!!”
“Kill you!”
He roared as he charged at Lin Jingjing. She watched his fist slam toward her and hastily dodged, but after his second mutation, Beijasi’s speed and strength had increased dramatically.
Lin Jingjing didn’t have time to evade. A single punch shattered all the Protective Shields around her.
Not only that, but Beijasi extended his hand and seized Lin Jingjing. Just like that, the deathly pale Lin Jingjing was caught.
‘He really didn’t give me any time to react.’ Lin Jingjing had to admit, the twice-mutated Beijasi was indeed very strong.
‘But I’m the strongest!’
“Die! Die!” Beijasi screamed. The eyeballs all over his body spun rapidly, a truly nauseating sight.
Beijasi had lost all reason. He had now completely turned into a monster.
His only obsession was to kill Lin Jingjing with his own hands.
Watching the hand around her tighten, Lin Jingjing’s mind raced, and she quickly came up with a countermeasure.
‘I don’t know if it’ll work, but I have to try.’
She condensed a dagger with her spiritual power and manipulated it to plunge into Beijasi’s stomach.
The dagger sank in completely, leaving only the hilt exposed.
A small wound like this was nothing to Beijasi. He looked at Lin Jingjing, crushed in his grip.
She was so fragile. With just a little more force, she would die in his hands.
Beijasi was giddy with triumph. “Hahaha, now die!”
