Sorry, Our Captain Is a True All-Rounder

Chapter 211: Human Bomb

Just as Beijasi was about to crush Lin Jingjing, she let out a soft chuckle. Her gaze fixed on him as she said, “You’re the one who deserves to die.”

With that, Lin Jingjing shifted her gaze to the dagger, concentrated her spiritual power, and shouted, “Kill him!”

At her command, the dagger immediately transformed into sharp, small blades that began to spread throughout Beijasi’s body.

Because Lin Jingjing’s spiritual power inflicted wounds that resisted healing, his Healing Ability was weakened by more than half as the blades coursed through his body.

The excruciating, bone-deep pain made Beijasi let out a piercing shriek.

His grip on Lin Jingjing loosened from the pain. The moment he let go and she started to fall, her Hoverboard seemed to sense its master was in danger, shooting over to catch her.

“AHHH—You bitch! What did you do inside me!” Beijasi roared, unable to bear the pain. The eyes all over his body were bloodshot as he glared at her.

Lin Jingjing sat on her Hoverboard, raised a hand to wipe the blood from the corner of her mouth, and looked at him with a soft chuckle. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

Once the golden blades had spread throughout his entire body, Lin Jingjing stood up. Frowning, she raised a hand and pointed at him.

Her eyes were filled with icy indifference.

“Explode.”

In an instant, as if on command, the blades scattered inside Beijasi’s body erupted into countless spikes, bursting out from within him.

Each spike that erupted was slick with blood, and Beijasi was turned into a human porcupine.

All the eyes on his body were pierced through. Beijasi looked at Lin Jingjing in disbelief.

‘How is she this powerful?’

Because the injuries were too severe and his wounds wouldn’t heal, Beijasi could no longer maintain his form and reverted to his human state.

Even in his human form, he was still skewered like a porcupine. The sight alone was painful.

“You… How could I possibly lose to you?” Beijasi couldn’t believe it, nor did he want to accept it as fact.

Lin Jingjing looked at him and replied, “But it’s the truth.”

“You lost to me, and now you die by my hand.”

Finally, full of resentment, Beijasi breathed his last.

His eyes, wide and unblinking, stared up at the cloudy sky. He had not died in peace.

With one opponent down, Lin Jingjing withdrew her spiritual power.

Without support, Beijasi’s body fell from the sky, but as luck would have it, a monster on the ground below opened its massive, blood-red maw and caught him.

The monster devoured his corpse, swallowing it down in just a few gulps.

As long as the monster survived, Beijasi would soon be dissolved by the acid in its stomach.

Not even a trace of his bones would remain.

His death was even more brutal than Ni Sang’s. At least Ni Sang still had his head left.

Lin Jingjing paid it no mind, continuing her charge toward Huang Bo Lin in the distance.

Seeing another of his top generals fall to Lin Jingjing, Huang Bo Lin was furious. He stared at her in the distance, clenching his fists, overcome with the desire to kill her.

The other three exchanged a look, quickly dispatched the soldiers blocking their path, and then charged toward Lin Jingjing.

Just as Lin Jingjing was about to reach Huang Bo Lin, the trio appeared and blocked her path.

Two men and one woman. They stared at Lin Jingjing, their brows furrowed.

They also knew that Lin Jingjing was a particularly formidable opponent.

That was why, unlike Beijasi, they hadn’t charged in alone. They had observed the fight from the sidelines.

‘This Lin Jingjing… she’s not to be underestimated.’

“Coming at me three-on-one?” Lin Jingjing asked, her own brow furrowed as she looked at them.

“Isn’t that a little unfair?” Lin Jingjing continued.

The three on the other side just sneered at her words. “Your abilities are off the charts. If we fought you one-on-one, we’d be the ones at a disadvantage.”

“Three-on-one. Are you ready to die?” The one who spoke was a young man. He wore glasses and looked quite scholarly.

Just as Lin Jingjing was wondering how to deal with them, Yun Yiyou suddenly appeared beside her.

Yun Yiyou was wearing a silver combat suit, which stood out distinctly amidst a sea of black.

His hair was slicked back, his cheek was streaked with blood, and the cold look on his face was rather intimidating.

“What are you doing here?” Lin Jingjing asked, somewhat surprised.

‘She never thought Yun Yiyou would show up here.’

“I am the King of the Empire. How could I possibly let you face these monsters all by yourself?”

As Yun Yiyou spoke, he ran a hand through his hair, the gesture a little cheesy.

Lin Jingjing forced a laugh.

“Fine by me,” Lin Jingjing replied.

What was one against three was now two against three.

And with the two most powerful people in the Empire now standing together, the expressions of their three opponents soured.

Finally, Lin Jingjing looked at them, a wide smile spreading across her face as she said, “Get ready to die.”

With the gauntlet thrown, the three had no choice but to charge and engage the pair in battle.

Yun Yiyou had trained with the military legions back when he was a prince. Furthermore, for the first few years after ascending the throne, he was constantly waging war.

His combat prowess had been slowly honed through countless campaigns.

Moreover, as members of the Imperial Family, their spiritual power could grow indefinitely. Yun Yiyou’s had been tempered in war after war, and his spiritual power had already reached an unfathomable level.

However, at some point, someone—no one knows who—persuaded him to stay off the battlefield, and Yun Yiyou gradually stopped making appearances there.

With just a slight release of his spiritual power, Yun Yiyou completely overwhelmed his opponent, leaving them no room to retaliate.

“I thought you were supposed to be strong. Guess you’re nothing special after all,” Yun Yiyou said with a sneer.

Then, before his opponent could even transform, he killed them instantly with his superpower.

The remaining man and woman stared in shock as they watched Yun Yiyou kill their companion so effortlessly.

They knew Yun Yiyou was strong, but not *this* strong.

Beside him, Lin Jingjing was also a little shocked. ‘He didn’t even use a third of his spiritual power, did he?’

‘Is his spiritual power really that vast?’

“What’s your Spirit Level now?”

“I don’t know,” Yun Yiyou replied.

Huh?

‘Don’t know?’

Lin Jingjing was taken aback. ‘How could he not know his own Spirit Level?’

Yun Yiyou saw her confusion and chuckled softly. “The machines can’t measure my Spirit Level, so I have no idea what level I’m at.”

Hearing this, for a moment, Lin Jingjing felt like he was just showing off.

“Well, you really are something else,” Lin Jingjing replied.

“I do alright,” Yun Yiyou answered.

Lin Jingjing looked at him, thinking, ‘Isn’t this man basically a walking spiritual power bomb?’

‘If he self-detonated his spiritual power, he could probably blow up the entire planet.’
