Chapter 209: Violently Spitting Blood
Upon hearing this, the group immediately looked around and realized the families Huang Bo Lin had mentioned were nowhere to be seen.
In an instant, all their faces turned pale, and they hurriedly began to beg Huang Bo Lin for mercy.
“I know I was wrong! I’ll never do it again! Please, I’m begging you, let me go.”
“We know we were wrong! We’ll turn over a new leaf and never do it again!”
“Yes, yes, yes! We’ll definitely turn over a new leaf!”
“…”
An endless stream of pleas for mercy echoed in everyone’s ears.
Yun Yiyou looked at the familiar faces. ‘These were all people he had long wanted to eliminate, but the meritorious deeds of their ancestors had always stayed his hand.’
‘Now, Huang Bo Lin has captured all the people I’ve wanted to get rid of. It’s clear how much he truly hates them.’
As the King of the Empire, the people trapped in the cage were also his subjects. With so many people watching, Yun Yiyou had to put on an act.
He stepped forward and shouted loudly at Huang Bo Lin, “Let them all go!”
“Or else I’ll make you pay!”
“You bloodthirsty demon.”
‘Being called a bloodthirsty demon for the first time… the title fits me perfectly,’ Huang Bo Lin thought.
“And what can you do if I don’t?” Huang Bo Lin roared with laughter. After he was done, he raised a hand. “Since you’ve already called me a bloodthirsty demon, I might as well act the part.”
With that, he slowly lowered his hand. His men immediately raised their laser guns and opened fire on the large cage.
Just like that, these people were shot to death by the laser bullets.
Their screams echoed in everyone’s ears as their warm blood stained the ground red.
“Hahahaha! It’s good that they’re dead.”
“Don’t you all agree?” Huang Bo Lin asked with a grin. He raised a hand and removed the mask from his face, his gleeful, laughing visage burning itself into everyone’s eyes.
‘He… He really is a demon.’
‘So many people died right in front of him, and he can still laugh.’
Lin Jingjing and the others clenched their fists, their eyes filled with fury.
‘Huang Bo Lin is slaughtering people indiscriminately, showing a complete disregard for human life!’
“Huang Bo Lin, you’re a demon!” Shi Feng stepped forward, pointing a finger at his nose and yelling, “So many people died in front of you, and you can still laugh? You’re treating lives like they’re worthless!”
“So what if I’m treating their lives like they’re worthless? Besides, they deserved to die anyway,” Huang Bo Lin replied nonchalantly.
This truly infuriated them. Each one clenched their fists, wishing they could rush up and beat him to a pulp.
“For peace! So that no one else has to die! Everyone, charge!” Yun Yiyou shouted, taking the lead and rushing forward. The great battle began at that moment.
Lin Jingjing raised her hands, then brought her palms together. Instantly, a massive Magic Image materialized behind her.
The golden light was so brilliant that some people couldn’t even open their eyes.
Once the Magic Image appeared, it followed behind Lin Jingjing, mimicking her every move.
It acted as her most capable aide.
Watching this scene, her four companions looked on, their eyes filled with adoration for Lin Jingjing.
“So cool. So strong.”
“I want one too.”
“I wonder if my spiritual power is enough to form one?”
“It should be possible.”
Their moment of envy passed, and they each grabbed their weapons and charged forward to fight the monsters and mutant beasts.
The two sides clashed violently, and many people and monsters died on the battlefield.
Lin Jingjing’s target was Huang Bo Lin, so anyone who tried to block her path was swatted aside.
Beijasi blocked Lin Jingjing’s path. He hovered in mid-air, exuding an air of extreme confidence, as if he could easily crush her.
“I will absolutely not let you pass,” Beijasi shouted. “Ni Sang died by your hand, but I am not her. I won’t die by your hand—you will die by mine!”
‘So that beautiful woman from the other day was named Ni Sang. She’s been dead for so long, and I’m only just now learning her name. How sinful of me.’
“Who were you to Ni Sang?” Lin Jingjing asked, her hands never ceasing their motion.
The monsters that came to join the fray were viciously slapped to the ground by Lin Jingjing, one of them instantly becoming a giant meat patty.
“Someone of no importance,” Beijasi replied. “And you must die by my hand.” As he spoke, he clenched his fist.
“You’re quite arrogant,” Lin Jingjing said with a smile. “She managed to punch a few holes in my side, even while I had my Protective Shield up. I wonder if you can do the same.”
‘Lin Jingjing actually had a bit of admiration for this Ni Sang. After all, she did have some real skill. It was just a pity she ran into me.’
‘No matter how skilled she was, she could only be crushed under my heel.’
Hearing this, Beijasi sneered disdainfully. “Why don’t we find out?”
With that, the two began to fight. Lin Jingjing remained on her Hoverboard, dodging his attacks in the air.
Every one of Beijasi’s attacks aimed for Lin Jingjing’s vitals, but she dodged them all.
Each time Beijasi thought his attack would land, Lin Jingjing would evade it at the very last second.
After dodging, she would taunt him, “You’re not so tough.”
“So slow. You’re not even as fast as Miss Ni Sang.”
“At least her speed gave me a little trouble.”
Hearing Lin Jingjing compare him to Ni Sang, Beijasi grew even more enraged.
His movements grew faster. Rage clouded his judgment, and Beijasi failed to realize that Lin Jingjing was just toying with him.
Seeing that he couldn’t land a single hit on Lin Jingjing, Beijasi became furious.
He stopped, glaring at Lin Jingjing in a rage. “You asked for this!” he roared.
“You bitch.”
Hearing him call her a bitch, Lin Jingjing’s playful demeanor vanished. Her Hoverboard came to a stop as she stared at him with cold eyes.
“What did you just call me?” Lin Jingjing asked in a low voice.
“A bitch! You’re a damn bitch! Why do you keep dodging? You think you’re so strong? You’re nothing but trash!”
“You should just obediently die by my hand!”
‘Looking at his pathetic display, Lin Jingjing understood. He couldn’t stand seeing a woman stronger than him.’
‘He thinks he’s the greatest one there is.’
“If I just obediently die by your hand, wouldn’t I lose face?” Lin Jingjing said, raising a hand and delivering a sharp, empty-handed slap in his direction.
Seeing her gesture, Beijasi was stunned for a moment before bursting into roaring laughter.
“Are you trying to be funny?”
But just as he finished speaking, the giant Magic Image behind Lin Jingjing made its move.
The Magic Image was fast, ruthless, and precise. It sent Beijasi flying dozens of meters.
Beijasi crashed through the trunks of distant trees, snapping one thick trunk after another before finally collapsing to the ground.
He clutched his chest, coughing up blood frantically, a completely pathetic sight.
