However, Yang Bo couldn’t find an opportunity. There always seemed to be someone inside their house, and he didn’t know how to pick locks—unless he climbed in from the outside.

Still, he didn’t come away entirely empty-handed. He discovered that the group consisted of about eight people within this community alone; he wasn’t sure if they had more members elsewhere.

Inside the Dome Entertainment City, Yang Bo clutched his ticket and entered the concert venue. The concert ran from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring numerous artists taking the stage.

He observed the venue. The grandstand was shaped like a massive peony flower, dividing the seating into various sections.

In the center sat a colossal stage. The massive dome above could shift into countless different backdrops. Rumor had it that depending on which section you were in, the backdrop would appear differently. Some even claimed that, thanks to some new technology, the view was unique from every single seat.

Initially, Yang Bo hadn’t cared whether he attended or not. But on second thought, he decided to come and experience the high-tech marvels for himself. Besides, that group of suspicious people hadn’t come to the Dome Entertainment City just to stroll around; they definitely had an ulterior motive. He already had a rough grasp of the terrain everywhere else, but he had never been inside this specific venue.

"Could they be a gang of ruthless thugs?" Looking around the grand concert—filled with countless celebrities, elites, and politicians—an ominous thought sprang to mind.

The concert began. Li Aiduo stepped onto the stage wearing a Princess dress.

"Great figure." Yang Bo immediately evaluated her physique. After all, having lived to an older age in his past life, a woman’s figure was naturally the first thing that caught his eye.

Next, he tried to look at her legs, but they were hidden by the dress. Finally, he looked at her face.

"Her face is so small." Looking at Li Aiduo’s youthful, girlish face, Yang Bo felt a slight stir in his heart.

"Welcome to my home turf, everyone! Today, I’ve brought you..." Li Aiduo twirled around, flashing a sweet, lovely smile before she spoke.

Hearing her voice, Yang Bo frowned slightly. "It seems she’s a Sound Wave Genetic Evolver."

Hearing her voice live, Yang Bo felt somewhat uncomfortable. His mind grew a bit muddled, as if the sounds of the concert were literal Sound Waves crashing relentlessly against his brain.

He decisively left the venue. When staff members stopped him on the way out, he simply said he had a personal matter to attend to.

Once outside the concert hall, Yang Bo felt much better. He looked back at the venue, listening to the crowd screaming frantically inside.

"Wait, am I the only Sound Wave Evolver in the audience? Are there no others?"

"Or perhaps the effects vary depending on the seating arrangement? The people around my section were all ordinary residents." Remembering the bizarre shape of the grandstands, he muttered to himself.

There were many people outside the venue watching the live broadcast. Yet, when Yang Bo watched the screens, he didn’t feel that same disorienting sensation.

"It seems this Li Aiduo isn’t as simple as she looks," he thought.

Yang Bo headed to a rest area not far from the control center. He bought a drink, sat down, and observed the people going in and out of the center.

If that group was keeping an eye on this place or planning to pull a stunt here, they most likely had a mole on the inside. Often, it was impossible to pull off a major scheme without an inside man.

"Strange. Did I miss them because I came at the wrong time, or are they planning a brute-force assault?"

"If I were the one planning an attack, what time would I choose?"

Putting himself in their shoes, Yang Bo reasoned that if they wanted to cause trouble here, they would definitely aim for maximum impact. Suddenly, he remembered something—rumor had it that an important figure from the Alliance Senate would be attending tomorrow night.

"Then it has to be tomorrow." He was absolutely certain now; if the group was going to make a move, it would definitely be tomorrow.

He quickly checked the schedule for tomorrow’s Dome concert. Sure enough, a mysterious VIP was slated to attend in person, and Li Aiduo was scheduled to announce some major news.

"Let’s just hope my guess is wrong," he muttered internally.

When he went to work that night, Yang Bo entered his workspace and subconsciously snapped his fingers. A second later, he frowned.

The other Mechas were actually powered on. They had been completely shut down over the past few days. With their internal circuits now energized, the Sound Waves bouncing back to his ears carried a different feedback.

"Are those guys planning to use the Mechas to cause trouble?" he speculated.

Even the Blade Mecha was powered on. The uneasy feeling in Yang Bo’s chest grew stronger, but he didn’t let it show on his face.

After finishing his work, he walked out of the exhibition hall. As he looked at the various items displayed in the other halls, a sudden realization hit him. What if someone hijacked a Mecha and then equipped it with the advanced external attachments from the adjacent hall—things like High-Energy Particle Guns, High-Frequency Laser Cannons, and the like?

Without a doubt, if those Mechas were fully armed, it would be an absolute disaster.

Sure, the venue had Rail Cannons and various other Weapons. But... if a major VIP was taken hostage, would they really fire a Rail Cannon and blow the Dome Entertainment City to pieces?

Whoever ordered that strike would undoubtedly meet a very, very grim end.

After getting off work, Yang Bo didn’t sleep. Instead, he continuously used his Sound Wave Detection to monitor the house where his targets were staying.

"A perfect opportunity!" When he noticed the targets had left, Yang Bo stripped off his clothes and activated his Invisibility.

He had no choice; he couldn’t turn invisible while wearing clothes. Thanks to his excellent Sound Wave Reconnaissance abilities, he was already thoroughly familiar with the surrounding environment.

Arriving at the door of the group’s residence, he confirmed that there were no smart devices installed, just as he had expected. Standing in the stairwell, Yang Bo snapped his fingers once to ensure the area was clear. Then, with another snap of his fingers, a crucial Metal component inside the apartment’s lock shattered instantly.

As for what would happen if the sabotage was discovered later? It didn’t matter. No one would ever know he was the one who did it.

"What the hell is this?" Yang Bo gently pushed the door open and stepped inside.

He found that the living room had been cleared out. Hanging on the wall was an oil painting of a man dressed in red, wearing a hat and holding a Sword. The man in the painting exuded the exact same artificial, pretentious aura as the people Yang Bo had observed earlier.

"He looks like one of those Western Nobles from Earth," Yang Bo muttered internally as he inspected it closely.

The apartment was exceptionally tidy, with everything neatly arranged. Suddenly, Yang Bo spotted a very familiar-looking box. Whenever he went to clean someone’s home, the client would always bring out a box just like this one for him to store his smartwatch in.

Opening the box, Yang Bo was stunned by its contents. "Is this a fake?"

Resting inside was the exact Space Button that the Dimension Company had put on display. Yang Bo gently stroked the Energy Stone, feeling the surging Energy within it.

"Holy crap. Could the Dimension Company be in cahoots with these thugs?" he thought, startled.

Glancing at the item in the box once more, Yang Bo hesitated for a brief moment before immediately leaving.

He rushed back home and spent 800,000 credits to purchase a replica Space Button accessory. After the Space Button had gone viral, a flood of knock-off merchandise had hit the market. This particular replica was the most realistic one available, and rumor had it that the Energy Stone on it was actually real.

He also bought a replacement part for the door lock.

Once the items were delivered, Yang Bo made his way through the basement—which was free of security cameras—and smoothly returned to the targets’ apartment. Once inside, he replaced the shattered component in the lock, swapped out the real Space Button for his fake one, and made a swift getaway.
