Chapter 661: Lee He Song and Han Di
Chapter 661: Lee He Song and Han Di
From the trembling of the ground, Lao Er estimated that there would be a hundred or more enemies making their way towards them.
And even though they had just defeated a group of these cultivators from the north, it wasn’t going to go well for them.
He knew how dire a situation it was for them.
There were only twenty or so of them while the enemies were at least four times more.
To make it worse, among the twenty or so disciples, most of them couldn’t sustain another round of fighting any longer.
Being at Qi Concentration Level meant that their Spirit Qi would be used up relatively quickly.
Lao Er stood where he was and thought about all the other options he had left but a familiar voice brought him out from his thoughts.
"It seems like we always meet in such inopportune situations." Lee He Song chuckled and said while he descended from the air together with the Natal Puppet, Han Di.
"Master Lee!" Lao Er’s voice perked up at the sight of Lee He Song and he glanced over at Han Di.
"Oh, this is Han Di, a good friend of your Grand Ancestor Lin too." Lee He Song gave out a fake cough and he introduced Han Di to Lao Er.
"Pleased to meet you, Master Han Di." Lao Er cupped his hands at Han Di and said.
Han Di nodded his head and replied, "I’m pleased to meet you too but I think that we don’t have much time for such formalities."
He said and glanced over at Lee He Song.
Lee He Song chuckled and took out a pill bottle from his sleeve pocket.
"Dispense the Recovery Pills to those who were injured. Leave this place and inform whoever is in charge of what’s happening." He handed over the pill bottle to Lao Er and said.
Lao Er took out the Recovery Pills and gave them out to the disciples that were injured.
"But if we leave, what about you?" Ling Er came up to them and asked.
Lee He Song chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, with Han Di around, I assure you that these pesky barbarians would be taken care of."
He glanced over at Han Di and Han Di patted on his chest.
"Trust me, I’m as good as your Grand Ancestor Lin." Han Di said and gave Ling Er a huge grin on his face.
"I’m sure... you are." Ling Er didn’t expect Han Di to be so boastful but she trusted Lee He Song.
And so, with the assurance from Lee He Song and Han Di, she wasted no time to quickly organize the disciples for the retreat back to the mines.
"I can stay behind if you need me to." Lao Er volunteered to stay but Lee He Song shook his head at him.
"Grand Ancestor Lin has many plans for you in the future." He gave Lao Er an approving nod while waving him off.
Lao Er gave out a sigh and he cupped his hands at Lee He Song and said, "Then, I shall make my move now. Thank you so much once again, Master Lee."
"You should thank Grand Ancestor Lin and Han Di here more instead." Lee He Song chuckled and said.
Lao Er wanted to know why Han Di was to be thanked but there wasn’t much time for him.
"Lao Er, we are leaving now." Ling Er’s voice shouted at him.
He quickly turned around and joined the other disciples to leave the area.
"Looks like it’s just you and me, Master Lin." Lee He Song said to Han Di when they were gone.
He was finally used to talking to the Natal Puppet as if it was Lin Xuan Qi there with him.
Han Di shrugged his shoulders at Lee He Song and said, "There is only so much we can do to help.
"Just make sure that the mines wouldn’t be overrun by the cultivators from the north."
Lin Xuan Qi had need for Spirit Stones in the future and these mines would be crucial for him if what Xiao Feng had said was right.
Gui Feng City would be taken care of by Qian Shi and the armies that were tasked to guard it.
"Where the hell are they?" A man’s voice boomed in the air and many men dressed in the familiar fur clothes appeared in front of Lee He Song and Han Di.
The man narrowed his eyes and glanced at them when he saw that the recce party they had sent earlier had been wiped out.
"You..." The man raised his hand and pointed at Lee He Song.
But Lee He Song wasn’t in the mood to talk.
He lunged at the man with his Nine Yin Ice Sword.
Whoosh.
The man felt a chill descending upon him when Lee He Song got nearer.
He raised his arms to try and block the sword of Lee He Song.
Slice.
Lee He Song slashed his sword downwards at the man and the slicing wave that shot out from it sliced the arms of the man off.
"Argh! You shall pay for this!" The man shouted and the other cultivators from the north tried to lunge at Lee He Song.
Boom!
Before they could even take a single step towards Lee He Song, talismans floated down from above and they burst out in flames in the next moment.
The fire caught some of them and they cried out in pain.
With the Five-Element Qi infused within the fire, the cultivators from the north failed to extinguish it with their Spirit Qi.
The flames raged on, burning through their skin and flesh, causing unbearable pain to them.
Some of them who weren’t hit by the talisman turned their attention to Han Di, and they thought that Han Di who looked younger was an easier target for them.
They lunged at Han Di but Han Di gave them a smirk instead.
Splatter.
Han Di punched at one of them and the booming wave from his fist splattered the head of the man into pieces.
Skin, flesh, bones and white matter from the head splattered out into the surroundings, creating a ghastly scene.
The other men were startled when they saw Han Di take on one of their own with a single strike.
They had obviously taken on the wrong target and they would have to pay dearly for it.
Han Di glanced at them and pulled back his arms.
