I was waiting for that elder punk to bring my granddaughter in law home. But then I realised that they were playing some hidden marriage game. It is not like I have got issues with it, but now it is too much time. "
Gu Liya and Gu Yehan looked like they had something to say, but Elder Gu interupted them and said, " No words. I don’t want you to now meddle in my plans. Also, no one is going to tell Gu Yeze or my granddaughter in law , that I know about their marriage. Did you get it?!"
Both of them looked at each other then looked back at their grandfather and nodded their heads.
Elder Gu nodded in contentment and smiled, " That’s more like it. "
After a while, Elder Gu left the party. But he ofcourse did not forget to bid Ning Mei good bye.
And after a while, Ning Mei also felt that it was late and she should go home now. Ting* her phone rang on a notification and she saw it was Gu Yeze message. He was here to pick her up.
Ning Mei smiled and looked for Gu Yehan and Gu Liya. She left the after after informing them.

In the car, a soft music played as Ning Mei sat comfortably on the passenger seat, munching on the snacks that Gu Yeze now always kept in his car for her, and telling everything about the day to her husband as he drove the car.
" And you know what happened then? Yehan and Liya announced that I am their best friend in front of the press! " She exclaimed with excitement.
Gu Yeze chuckled as he listened to her. He already knew about that, as today’s news was all was all over the internet and news channels right now.
Then remembering something, Ning Mei said, " Ah yes! And something more happened today! "
Gu Yeze looked curiously at Ning Mei on what she had to say.

" Yes." He replied in short again.
Ning Mei now narrowed her eyes and said, "What’s wrong then? Why did you suddenly turn so cold then?"
Gu Yeze looked at her side eyedly and said, " What am I supposed to reply when my wife says that she is approached by someone with the intentions of making her his grandsons wife. And that too, when my own family doesn’t know anything about her.
Sorry, but I don’t even like the mere thought of it one bit. " Saying so, Gu Yeze went quiet and stared at the front.
Silence regained in the car, and Ning Mei too looked forward, not saying anything.
Though a little while ago, she said things without much thinking, but now thinking back her words, she felt guilty.
She knew Gu Yeze was hurt and she could also understand the reason behind him being so.
If he were to tell her that someone has approached him for their daughter, she would have definitely not be this calm like him. She would have been hoping mad!
If not much, she knew she would have gone scratching left and right like a crazy wild cat!
The car was silent for a good while. Gu Yeze looked at his wife from the corner of his eyes. He now felt really bad talking to her like that. Did he hurt her feelings or something? But then something clicked on Gu Yeze’s mind hearing her words, that he hurriedly stopped the car by the roadside and said, " Mei, I am really sorry. I should not have talked to you do roughly. You are not thinking of kicking me away from you tonight, are you? Or worse leaving me?! "
