Her words were blunt and the only sweetcost over it was her smile.
Her single line had too many jabs in it. She showcased her being the Brand Ambassador, and called Ning Yiyi ’senior’.
Also she reminded her of the fact that she was not invited here.
Ning Mei saw Ning Yiyi’s smile fade off from her face for a second, before she remained her expressions and said, " Ah, yes! I got the invitation at the last moment. "
Ning Mei nodded her head in acknowledgement. What a clean lie for real.
She then looked over at the man whom Ning Yiyi had accompanied and asked, " Who is that man you were with, Senior Yiyi?"
Ning Mei could see Ning Yiyi gritting her teeth together. It was a matter of image after all. Most of the people in the party knew about her being the company of that man, but this she could not disclose on her own in front of Ning Mei. Especially when she was her junior, but had acquired the Brand Ambassadorship title, that she could not.
Ning Yiyi glared at Ning Mei too see if she was mocking her or something because her words here surely doing that. But Ning Mei looked at her innocently as if she was genuinely curious.

Ning Mei smiled and did not scratch the matter anymore. She looked clearly feel the hate for her ozing from the person in front of her.

Ning Yiyi harumped lightly and she said, " It is not like Muye would tell you everything about his personal life. I should leave anyway. " She shot a glare at her, but then smiled too, which was no doubt so forced.
