Gu Yeze was wearing a plain white shirt, three of his top buttons were left unbuttoned. The shirt was paired with a black trouser, and his matching black shoes. He looked so sexily perfect to her eyes right now. And what was more to it that....
He was carrying a bouquet of red roses in his hands.
Ning Mei almost fell that this man had sucked away her breath even from that distance.
And he slowly walked towards her, and came to stand right in front of her.
He handed her the flowers saying, " For my lovely wife. " Ning Mei looked at the fresh red roses, and she could literally feel her heart sprouting two little wings and now flying high in the skies.
She held the flowers and asked dumbly in her excitement, " Are these for me? "
Gu Yeze chuckled and said , " No. They are for my three other wives. " Then tapping her nose lightly, he said, " My dumb little thing. Ofcourse it’s for you. I have only got one wife after all."
Hearing it, Ning Mei bit her lips due to the overwhelming sweetness she was feeling currently.
Then she saw Gu Yeze streching his hand towards her, and said, " Please. " Ning Mei placed her hand softly on his palm. He left so thrilling right now.
Though, he was her own husband, she still felt as if she had been sucked into a fairytale.
Then Gu Yeze brought her to the table, and Ning Mei noticed the table being decorated with candles, and flowers. There were some deserts and a bottle of wine.
Ning Mei looked impressed as she raised her eyes to look at her husband, but instead found him staring at her profoundly.
She was about to ask what was he looking at so intently, when Gu Yeze, who was still holding her hand said in a low voice, " See there. " He said indicating a direction.
The direction he pointed her to look, was not visible from where she stood earlier, near the entrance. And now that she turned her head to look at what he showed her, Ning Mei’s eyes widened unbelievably and she completely froze.
In front of her was something like a big holding with a black background. And the small golden bulb lights were used to make some words on it.
And it read,
" I LOVE YOU, NING MEI"
The holding looked so magical in itself, but what got Ning Mei’s whole attention was none other than the words on the holding.
She was frozen stiff for a good few minutes, and then she slowly turned her head to look at her husband. Gu Yeze was also looking at his wife with so much emotions, that he had tried to hold all months, since he met her and married her. He finally let it out on his face.
Ning Mei looked at his face, and she herself seemed to be lost. Then she said slowly, " Yeze, this.. You love.. " She still was not able to wrap her mind around the so sweetly unexpected thing that came shoving itself to her.
Gu Yeze looked at her with so much love in his eyes and said, " Yes Mei, I love you. I really do. "
And the next second, all Ning Mei could remember was, she let go of his hands and threw herself into his arms. Ning Mei hugged him as if she had just given up her whole self to him. And Gu Yeze tol returned her hug with the same intensity.
The couple were overflowing with love and emotions for each other.
Ning Mei had wrapped her arms around Gu Yeze’s neck, and hugged him as tightly as she could. It was almost as of her life depended on it.
Gu Yeze, after a few seconds could feel some wetness on his chest area. Was she crying? She was. But this time instead of his wrenching when feeling her tears, it felt full. He felt full feeling his beloved near him, in his arms. Next to his heart.
And thinking of this, Gu Yeze burrowed his face on her nape. He wanted to feel the bliss of having her close to him. He wanted to relish I’m her scent.
After sometime Ning Mei released the tight hug and pulled out to look at him. He was smiling at her softly. Ning Mei held his face with both her hands and touched her forehead with his.
She released a sigh and said, " I love you too. I really love you so much! I can not even express how happy I am right now. "
Saying, she slowly pulled away and opened her eyes to meet his and said, " Thank you. " Her thank you almost sounded as a wishper.
Gu Yeze kissed her forehead and said in the same wishpering way as her, " I should be the one to thank you. Thank you for coming into my life. And thank you for loving me. "
After sharing a few heartfelt moments, Gu Yeze again offered his hand to her, on which she readily placed her palm.
He held her hand and took her to the table. Then very gentlemanly, he pulled her chair for her. And sat in front of her.
Then he popped open the wine bottle and pour her a glass of it, and then for himself.
Ning Mei who was now out of her emotional state accepted the glass with a thank you. She took a sip from it, and then chuckled. She put her hands on the table and supported her face on then, as she stared at Gu Yeze and said, " I feel like I am in some dreamy novel or a fairytale right now. "
Gu Yeze took a sip from his own glass and said, " Is it? Then maybe I will be the male lead of your story. Your one and only. "
Ning Mei giggled and said, " I never thought you would be so romantic, and will be willing to do these things some day. After all, some one once said, he did not believe in love. "
Gu Yeze shrugged with a smile and said, " I am still learning to be the ideal romantic. And if it comes to love, someone once challenged me, that she will make me fall in love with her anyhow. I guess she won. "
