Gu Yeze asked, " Who ordered you to? And what were you upto? " he asked the boy as, Gu Yeze dangerous squinted his eyes. " Open his mouth! " He ordered.
The men did as ordered. And as soon as, his mouth was free the boy coughed roughly. He raised his head to look that Gu Yeze.
Gu Yeze frowned hard looking at the red eyes full of tears, as they now continuously flowed down his cheeks.
" I am sorry, Sir. But I cannot say anything. I am helpless. " His voice cracked in the last
line.
Gu Yeze continued to frown, but a couple of seconds later, his expressions drastically changed and he rushed forward to that man as she shouted, " No! Wait! "
But he was late. The man whose mouth was now free bowed his head down and licked something on the lapel of his shirt, and the next second, his body started jerking fervorously before white foam started coming out of his mouth, causing his instant death.
Gu Yeze stood one step away from the now dead man. He realised a second late. All the other men and Wen Xiao looked at the dead man a little dumbfoldedly. Well, they did not foresee that a timid and scared man would accept this method to avoid questioning.
This method was mainly used by egoistic assains, terrorists or high level spy, who has no other motive in their lives other than the mission, or who are simply fearless, egoistic and have nothing to lose.
But this man, was clearly scared. He was afraid for his life. And his timid demeanor reflected in his personality. They did not expect him to cyanide poision himself.
Gu Yeze stared at the dead body with a freezing temperant. And then said coldly, " Take this dead body to the lab and examine him. And I want all the details that can be extracted about him. Everything and everyone who he is linked with. This time, there is someone else’s safety in stake too. "
He turned to move away from the body. But after taking a few steps, he stopped and looked back at it. " Prepare a proper burial for this one after all the examinations are done. "
And he moved away from the dead body allowing his men to work. But his last words took everyone by surprise. Proper burial for this one? Why?
They knew their Boss was considering man but that was half truth. He was ruthless in his business and underworld dealings too. He never forgave people who wronged him, and made sure to make them experience hell on Earth.
But he made some exception a few times and that was very rare. He would sometimes let go and respect the dead after they are gone. Only if they were innocent. Their boss could be ruthless and dangerous but never hurt innocent people intentionally.
But this man here, was not innocent at all. He had stalked Gu Yeze for quite some days now with uncertain and doubtful reasons. He also had a gun with him, which was pointed at Gu Yeze when he was caught by his men.
Though, the man’s hands were shaking while holding the gun, yet this cannot erase the fact that he had ill intentions towards Gu Yeze. And a very high possibility, that he was working for their enemies.
But they did not question Gu Yeze’s decision. If he had told them to do so, he would surely have his own reasons.
A pair of men loaded the body in a car and drove from their taking it to the lab for further examination as ordered by Gu Yeze. While, Wen Xiao followed Gu Yeze.
Gu Yeze was visibly in not a good mood and asked Wen Xiao, " Did you bring what I told you too? "
Wen Xiao nodded and took out a paper packaging from his pocket and handed it over to him.
And then he passed a water bottle to him.
Gu Yeze took out a pil from the package and swallowed it with water. He turned to look at Wen Xiao and enquired, " Does it have any side effects?"
Wen Xiao nodded to answer and said, " Fever and rash break out. "
On hearing his answer, Gu Yeze asked with furrowed brows, " Rashes? " Wen Xiao on understanding his concerns nodded and said, " Yes sir, there are no other alternatives. But the rashes will most probably break out after an hour. "
Gu Yeze impatiently looked at his watch and said, " Then I must get going now. "
Wen Xiao nodded. But then as if on rememberimg something, he said, " Sir, about the investment in that series, almost all the work is done. Gu Corporations will be one of the lead producers of the drama officially by next week. "
Gu Yeze on hearing this, nodded in appreciation and said, " Good."
And then he went back to the car, to his wife.
Going back to his car, Gu Yeze saw his wife already asleep with the bottle of lemonade in her hand, that was more than half empty. Seems like a full and happy stomach eased her and she fell asleep waiting for him.
Getting into the car, he started it, without making too much noise, in order to not startle his wife and wale her up.
When they were half way on the road, Gu Yeze suddenly started feeling weird. He felt his hands lightly shivering and his body feeling warm. Gu Yeze controlled the car and checked himself in the mirror, and oh lord, his face already started to form red rash.
Gu Yeze’s eyes widened in horror and he hurriedly pulled out the mask that Wen Xiao had brought together with the pill and wore it. He ruffled his short hairs, which were usually styled backwards slantingly, allowing them to fall on and cover his forehead.
He looked at his wife who was still fast asleep and he just prayed that she would remain asleep atleast until they reached home. And then he could just remain away from her sight after he assured she is safe.
