Gu Yeze chuckled at his wife’s slyness. This was something he loved about her.
The keeper’s face by now has turned black like the bottom of a pot. Why does all women have to be so miser?! This rich women are no different! He had a good chance to make money! Nothing to do anymore, he harumped in his heart and went away. Anyway, he earned atleast an hour worth of money more.
Seeing that, they still did not leave, the man did not say anything more and just left. As he had taken money for an whole hour, he had nothing to say.
Gu Yeze went to the car, he opened the door and leaned down to see Ning Mei comfortably seated herself in the passenger seat. But he did not get in. Instead, he asked, " Mei, Is your stomach hurting a lot? "
Ning Mei looked a little taken aback by the question and he answered, " Uh, oh, not a lot, but it is hurting a little. "
Gu Yeze took out a small bottle of lemonade from his pocket and handed her. He said, " Here. Seat comfortably and quietly. And after a few minutes, keep taking small sips from it, alright. The pain will reduce and it will help in digestion. "
Ning Mei took the bottle with her eyebrows furrowed and asked, " Why? Are you going somewhere? Are you not getting in the car?"
Gu Yeze shook his head and said, " I will be back in a while. I need to go to the washroom and then also need to attend an urgent call. I hope you understand? "
Ning Mei nodded and said, " Alright, I will wait here. Come soon. "
Gu Yeze smilingly nodded and left after gently caressing her face. Ning Mei could understand that he was busy. As firstly, he readily agreed to come with her leaving his work. And then l, she saw him doing something very seriously there in the stall in his phone.
So, Ning Mei just lesuirely sat there, passing her time in her phone.
While Gu Yeze directly walked out of the carnivsl’s ground. He walked to the sides of the walls, were it was dark and quiet. People mostly did not visit this side , as the main attraction of the carvinal was else where. And this place was nothing but barren.
At a distance, he saw car’s headlights on, and he walked to there. As he approached, all the ten men clad in black with loaded guns, bowed their heads at him. Gu Yeze’s usual bodyguards who accompanied them in general and public were absent. And these men looked less bodyguards. They looked like commandos.
He saw Wen Xiao standing in front of them with an plain expression on his face. Gu Yeze then looked at the ground, to find a man sitting on the ground with his hands tied at the back, legs tied together and a cloth tied in his mouth to prevent him from making sound. It was evident that he was guilty of something.
The headlights were directly falling on the guilty man’s face. And Gu Yeze could tell from the man’s demeanor that he was a boy not more than twenty years. Also, he did not have a very muscular body, but a lean soft look. The boy was currently looking at Gu Yeze with his red rimmed eyes. His eyes spoke volumes of his emotions, that looked more like pain.
Gu Yeze looked at Wen Xiao and asked, " What is it all about? " Wen Xiao once looked at the young man, then back at his Boss. He said, " President, you were right. He was indeed following you since a few days now. We caught him today, and this are the things that we got from him. "
Saying that, Wen Xiao passed a camera and a gun to Gu Yeze. Gu Yeze raised his brow when he saw the gun and glanced at the man. The young boy on getting a glance from Gu Yeze subconsciously lowered his eyes.
Then Gu Yeze checked the contents in the camera, and his frien deepened. There were a pictures of his daily life and him with people he interacted these few days.
The early pictures were from the day, he dropped Ning Mei to the head office of Koral. There was a picture of them boarding the car together, a picture of them holding hands, some of his own pictures with some regular people he met.
But what triggered him the most was, there were pictures of Ning Mei’s alone, when he was out on a business trip. Pictures of her at the set, in the road at night, and some like this. There was also one with her carrying a bouquet in her hands. This picture seemed to be taken yesterday, when he came back.
Gu Yeze would still be calm on the fact that, he was trying to cast any harm on him, by clicking pictures. As this stuffs were not new for him. But he couldn’t stand the fact that, Ning Mei being dragged in this drama. The air around got freezy and dangerous.
He shot a glare at the boy and asked in a chilly voice, " Are there more? "
The boy could literally feel dread crawling up his nerves, as he looked longer at Gu Yeze. Then very slowly he shook his head saying no.
Gu Yeze looked at him intently and he could deduce from his eyes that he wasn’t lying. So this man was stalking him since the day he dropped Ning Mei to Koral.
He asked, " Who ordered you to? And what were you upto? " he asked the boy as, Gu Yeze dangerous squinted his eyes. " Open his mouth! " He ordered.
The men did as ordered. And as soon as, his mouth was free the boy coughed roughly. He raised his head to look that Gu Yeze.
Gu Yeze frowned hard looking at the red eyes full of tears, as they now continuously flowed down his cheeks.
" I am sorry, Sir. But I cannot say anything. I am helpless. " His voice cracked in the last line.
