Gu Yeze became eerily quiet, after he heard what Wen Xiao said. His eyes were stuck on the ipad screen where the red triangle indicating Ning Mei’s location tracker did not move at all.
Not removing his eyes from his ipad neither raising his head, Gu Yeze ordered , "Drive to the City Hospital. ASAP! "

On the other side, Ning Mei filled the form, and also brought the medicine. She had been fullfiling that is needed to be done by her own.
Right now, she casted away all her concerns and her biggest concern was her brother. And right now, Ning Jiming’s operation was going on. The nurse at that time said that he had a lot of internal injuries and many of his inner muscles and minor veins tore apart in the accident, causing too much blood loss.

But because she was wearing brown today, the blood’s colour some what merged with the colour of her jumpsuit. Thankfully, she did not get any injury on her body, only some light cramps and dirt on her body, that she got at the time of pulling Ning Jiming out of the flipped car and carrying him to her car.
Ning Mei held her forehead in her hands, that ached so badly that she wanted to cryvout of frustration. She was so confused that her brains were not working at all! Usually, she was really quick witted and knew what to do. But when it came to her family all her wittiness jumped out of window, out of nervousness.
The door of the OT opened and a nurse came out holding a tray. Ning Mei quickly stood up. And she did, her eyes naturally fell on the tray, that has lot of bloodied operation tools and blood soaked cotton. Ning Mei glanced at it and looked back at the nurse as it was nothing and asked her, " How is his condition?"
Well, really, this much blood for Ning Mei to see was really nothing. She had seen a hundred thousand times more blood in a single day. And heck! She was even worse...!
The nurse noticed the youngest girl to not react at all at the sight of the bloodied stuffs in her hands, and she was surprised. She was used to see young girls her this one to gross out, fear of be scared of blood. But this was a little rare kind of. And she liked it. What? It was a part of treatment.
She smiled at the girl and said, " The treatment is going on. Keep your patience, child. And have trust in God. "
" Sister, please tell me he will be alright, is it not? Please tell me? He will be alright! Please, nothing should happen to him! " Ning Mei said with so much desperation in her voice. She did not cry, but her voice almost chocked. She was really in pain in her heart.
During this conversation , neither Ning Mei nor the nurse noticed a brooding, gloomy man standing at a distance from them listening to their conversation. And behind him was his astonished army. Why was their Madam in such a condition?! And the bigger question here is, ’Who is this, HE! ?! ’
The middle aged nurse patted Ning Mei’s shoulder in consolation, knowing it might be difficult for her. In her many years experience, the nurse has seen so many injured patients and their grieving family.
She knew that for the hospital staff, this one injured patient in like many more other patients. But for their family, this one person was one in millions. The nurse said to Ning Mei, "Do not worry. Everything will be fine. "
" Excuse me, child. There is work to be done. " The Nurse said gently. Ning Mei also realised that she was actually disturbing and taking her time when she needed to work. So she apologized and let her go.
The nurse walked away to the opposite direction from where Gu Yeze was standing and therefore Ning Mei also couldn’t see him. Adm right now, the biggest question in the mind’s of Gu Yeze’s group was, who was the man Madam is so concerned about, that she forgot about her husband.
Gu Yeze stayed quiet for a few seconds, before calling her name, " Ning Mei. "
Ning Mei for a moment froze when she heard a familiar voice, which sounded like a salvation to her. She breathed and turned back to him, and saw Gu Yeze standing there all tall and confident as always.
Ning Mei swallowed the lump in her throat and the next second, she did not what to do and just ran to her husband’s arms. Gu Yeze caught the quivering figure who had run into his arms and was crying her heart out. And this girl was no other than his beloved wife.
Gu Yeze did not know the reason for Ning Mei’s grievance, but whatever it was it hurt his heart too. The sight of his wife crying was clenching his heart in pain. And the worst thing was this was the first time in years that he saw Ning Mei crying like this.
Ning Mei had always protrayed her self as a string girl who did not show her weak side to anyone. Because after what happened three years ago, she knew that showing her weak side only gave away in front of your enemies, and the ones who don’t want your good.
She would only be upset at most in front of other people. And even if she had to cry, she cried in silence in her room when she was alone.
