The Strongest War God

Chapter 1782 Summon Her Back

Chapter 1782: Summon Her Back Chapter 1782: Summon Her Back Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation The eight guardians arrived together, but they didn’t dare to stop him.  The young man traveling against the current had a face obscured by a shroud of mist, making it impossible to see his features clearly.  Dressed in green and with a slender frame, he wore no weapons, but his eyes radiated an ancient, endless aura—eyes that seemed to have witnessed the ages.

“It’s him!” Heather Sage’s expression shifted.

“Of course, it’s him!” Braydon Neal said, stepping onto the river, causing the entire River of Time to tremble as if it were about to collapse.

“Come back, don’t go!” Heather’s face went pale.

“He and I will meet sooner or later.

My actions in this life have clearly shocked him,” Braydon said softly as he stepped onto the river of time.

A terrifying force erupted from the river, as if trying to tear him apart.  However, the green-robed man, coming from afar, helped Braydon withstand this force.  The eight guardians looked on with a mix of respect and fear.  The man who had once vanished from the River of Time had now returned, more formidable than ever.

“In the blink of an eye!” the green-robed man said with a faint smile.

“First life!” Braydon revealed the man’s identity.

Braydon had the Reincarnation Imprint, ensuring he would never truly die.  Even if he fell, he would return.  Few knew that he had not completely perished in his first life.

The green-robed man spoke softly, “Back then, when my soul was killed, you allowed me to break through the barriers of the universe, and I was banished to the starry sky.

If I do not die, your Reincarnation Imprint will last forever!” “Now it seems that was not a wise choice!” Braydon replied indifferently.

The green-robed man, with his hands behind his back, looked at Braydon.

“I will let you live after you cripple the 100,000 Dharma Idols.

On the day of Transcendence, you and I will compete for the power of eternity.

If I lose, you will be the master!” “Sounds like a good option,” Braydon said with a faint smile.  He added calmly, “I’ve worked for thousands of years to succeed in this life.

If you kill me now, your foundation will be destroyed.

Are you willing to do that?” “What can I do if I can’t bear to part with it?” The green-robed man’s eyes hardened as he spoke fiercely.

“At the beginning of our lives, in the first life, you and I were two souls.

We each held onto our lives until now.

You cultivate all lives, while I seek the power of all lives.

You and I are one!

“It’s just a competition to see who becomes the true lord!

“But what you’re doing now is to become the revered one for all eternity.

You want to cultivate 100,000 Dharma Idols and succeed.

How can I survive in the future?” The green-robed man seemed calm despite the situation.  Since Braydon had created the Dharma Nation, he had never been able to control the Dharma power.  The green-robed man was stunned.  If Braydon succeeded in cultivating this path, he would have struck through the ages and suppressed the world alone.  Now, with 10,000 banished immortals entering the river of time, success seemed imminent.

Braydon listened quietly and said softly, “I thought you would wait for the day I transcended.

I must have thought too highly of you, and too highly of the past me.” “You’re the one who underestimated the Dharma Nation!” The man in green replied calmly.

“If word of the Dharma power of the Dharma Nation spreads, those who came here to kill you today would fill this river!” “The River of Time isn’t that easy to traverse,” Braydon shook his head.

“The beings outside the starry sky don’t even care about this universe,” the green-robed man said, “so why would they care about this river?!” “Unfortunately, they can’t enter.” “I’m not going to kill you,” Braydon said with a smile, turning to leave.

“If you wanted to kill me, you wouldn’t have waited until now!” “30% of the 100,000 Dharma Idols is the limit of my tolerance!” After saying that, he moved with the current.

“Do you think you can come and go as you please?!” Heather’s face turned cold.

As soon as she finished speaking, a monstrous storm surged from the long river.

The two terrifying figures began to battle.  Heather unleashed her full strength, but since her true body had not descended, she couldn’t fully display her peak battle power.

The green-robed man remained calm and relaxed, constantly retreating and leaving the river of time.  “If I want to kill you, I can do it with a single strike.

Him and I share the same roots,” he said calmly.

“Killing you is the same as killing my wife.

Willfulness has its limits.

If you cross my line of tolerance, I will also kill you.” Before the green-robed man left, he raised his left hand.  A ray of light sliced through the River of Time, completely severing it.  The blade of light pierced Heather’s left shoulder, blood splattering everywhere.  The light didn’t wane; it cut through the long river, ravaged Braydon’s small world, sliced through Zone 1, and reached the seven-colored vortex above the universe.

In the depths of the rainbow vortex, at the origin of the universe, dense light enveloped a beautiful woman lying quietly.  Her eyes were tightly shut, as if she were in a deep sleep.  When the blade light appeared and landed on her bed, a strand of black hair fell, causing her to frown as if she were about to awaken.  This was the green-robed man’s warning—if he chose to, he could bypass Heather and directly strike at her real body!

In the outside world, Chadwick Neal and the others were terrified.  The light left the peak experts feeling suffocated.

Meanwhile, in the River of Time, the retreating green-robed man encountered an opponent blocking his path.  A woman in a snow-white dress with a phoenix crown who had an exquisitely beautiful face, as if she were the finest creation of heaven.  Seeing her, the green-robed man frowned.

“You want to stop me?” “Kill him!” someone shouted angrily.

Braydon’s white robe fluttered as he stepped back into the River of Time.  An ancient aura emanated from him as the ancient soul within him slowly recovered.  Heather, who had been thrown backward, was being held in Braydon’s arms.  The wound on her left shoulder was bleeding, and her breathing was extremely weak.

Braydon lowered his head and gazed at her, a small flame flickering in his eyes.  He spoke softly, “Colette Kepner, in my name, I summon you to come back.

Is that alright?” “Is that alright?” “Is that alright?” He asked her three times.

Braydon already knew where the Great Empress was hiding—within the River of Time.  Her tribulation body was concealed there.  He used the Spirit Summoning Art to awaken her.

The green-robed man’s expression shifted slightly.  He was intimately familiar with his other half, Braydon, and knew how formidable he was.  He also knew what the Great Empress and the Grand Supreme were capable of, having fought alongside them outside the starry sky long ago.

Unfortunately, the green-robed man had his own agenda, aiming to protect this universe and claiming Braydon’s Myriad Lifetime Path Fruit for himself.  He was unwilling to be left as mere decoration in the future.

At that moment, a woman appeared in the long river.  She was cold and noble, exuding a sense of serene mystery.  Her presence smoothed out the entire River of Time, calming it to the point where it seemed unwilling to stir.  Gradually, the surface of the river fell silent as she emerged.
