Chapter 1058: Eating The Experts Like Snacks

Chapter 1058: Chapter 1058: Eating The Experts Like Snacks

Someone in the enemy alliance could no longer hold back his blinding fury and decided to launch a preemptive strike. He grinned viciously as he locked his eyes onto Heishe’s massive form. Since that arrogant beast had blatantly provoked the humans first, he believed he now had every legitimate, righteous reason under heaven to strike him down.

"Wait! Don’t do it!" Someone else screamed from the back, trying to halt his reckless advance.

However, Heishe completely ignored the warning, his crimson eyes flashing with malicious delight. The exact millisecond the expert charged toward him with channeled spiritual Qi, Heishe completely vanished from where he stood.

Before the man could even register the sudden disappearance, a colossal black tail whipped through the air, striking his torso with terrifying, bone-shattering force.

Bang!

The expert was sent crashing into the hard ground like a fallen meteor. The earth split violently apart beneath the impact as a deep, smoking crater formed instantly.

"Cough!"

The man spat out a large mouthful of fresh blood, his internal organs completely ruptured. Before he could even scramble to his feet, Heishe had already materialised directly in front of him, looming like a mountain of darkness.

"You wanted to kill me so badly, didn’t you?" Heishe grinned wickedly, revealing rows of razor-sharp, glistening fangs. "Then why exactly are you lying down there in the dirt?"

The expert’s face immediately turned a translucent, deathly pale colour.

Without waiting for an answer, Heishe casually clamped his jaws around the man’s leg, lifting him up as though he were nothing more than a ragged cloth doll. Then, with almost zero physical effort, he swung him overhead in a massive arc and hurled him high into the churning sky.

"Aaaahhh!" The man’s terrified, breathless scream echoed clearly through the mountain air.

Heishe slowly raised his enormous head, tracking the descent, and opened his jaw unbelievably wide. The terrifying, dark maw looked like a bottomless, abyssal trench capable of swallowing the heavens themselves.

The falling expert dropped straight into the blackness of Heishe’s mouth.

Gulp.

Heishe swallowed him whole in a single, smooth motion before leisurely patting his thick stomach with a massive coil.

"Hmm... surprisingly delicious." Heishe grinned in absolute satisfaction, licking his lips.

The surrounding experts stared completely blankly at the horrifying scene, their weapons trembling in their hands. One of their strongest companions... had just been casually eaten alive like a snack.

"You damn, monstrous beast!" Another elder roared, his eyes turning completely bloodshot with absolute rage. "How dare you brutally eat my Dao brother!"

"What?" Heishe tilted his massive head innocently, his voice dripping with mockery. "Do you want to go inside and join him too? Sure. Come on over. I will happily make plenty of room in my stomach for you."

The enraged expert lost all sanity and immediately rushed forward, unleashing a barrage of spells.

"Hey! Don’t hog them all! I want to eat too!" Tao-chan shouted unhappily from the rear lines.

Without any warning, the massive Taotie charged straight into the dense crowd of cultivators. His gigantic, primordial body crashed into the defensive formation of experts like a solid mountain falling directly from the sky, instantly throwing dozens of high-level people into absolute, screaming chaos.

"Attack!"

"Kill them all!"

"Don’t let that thing get close to the core!"

The entire battlefield erupted into complete, unmitigated disorder. Even though these humans were all renowned, powerful experts gathered from various great sects and ancient, influential families, absolutely none of them could match the raw, overwhelming physical and spiritual strength of three legendary Divine Beasts working in tandem.

Heishe darted through the screaming ranks like a sleek, black flash of lightning. Every single strike from his massive, whip-like tail shattered spines and pulverized ribs. Every swipe of his claws tore through powerful, high-grade defensive techniques as though they were nothing more than wet paper.

Any unfortunate opponent who happened to fall before his path never managed to stand back up again. Some were bitten clean in half, their blood spraying across the grass. Some were swallowed whole while they were still in the middle of screaming for mercy. Others were thrown high into the air before disappearing directly into his enormous, waiting mouth.

Meanwhile, Tao-chan was having the absolute time of his life.

Unlike Heishe, who simply swallowed his prey whole after defeating them, Tao-chan preferred to properly savour and enjoy his meals. He grabbed one screaming expert by both legs and tore his protective, reinforced armour apart as though it were made of cheap cloth.

"Run! Run away!" The terrified expert struggled desperately, weeping as his spiritual Qi failed him.

"Too late for that." Tao-chan flashed a wide, terrifying grin before stuffing the unfortunate cultivator directly into his mouth headfirst.

Crunch!

The horrifying sound of a human skull and spine being crushed echoed loudly over the din of battle.

"Ahhh!" The man’s agonising scream lasted only a brief fraction of a second before disappearing completely down the beast’s throat.

Tao-chan happily chewed several more times, a look of bliss on his face.

Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.

Everyone present on the battlefield could clearly and vividly hear the agonising sound of bones, flesh, and spiritual armour being pulverised together into a paste.

"Mmm... nice and crispy." Tao-chan commented with obvious satisfaction, smacking his lips before finally swallowing the mass.

The remaining experts felt their very scalps turn entirely numb with cold dread. Some even involuntarily took several frantic steps backwards, their legs shaking. These were not ordinary, proud Divine Beasts that could be reasoned with or fought through martial honour. These were primordial monsters that actually treated powerful, revered cultivators like cheap, crunchy snacks.

Only Baishe remained completely, starkly different from the chaotic brutality of the other two.
