“Fang Lin, do you disagree with this way of distribution?” Dugu Ruoxu asked in a serious tone.
Fang Lin shook his head again, the smile at the corner of his mouth completely disappeared, replaced by a look of indifference.
“What I’m saying is, how to divide and to whom it should go can only be decided by me. Whether you can get the Demon Bone depends on my mood.” Fang Lin said, his manner domineering and strong.
Yet such assertiveness made the others wear a gloomy expression.
“Do you know what you’re saying?” Chi Yunxiao’s voice became colder, a glint flashing in his eyes.
“Fang Lin, it’s enough for you to keep one piece of the Demon Bone, how about we distribute the other four ourselves?” Said Dugu Ruoxu in a cold manner.
Fang Lin shook his head again: “I told you, all five Demon Bones are to be divided by me, you have no say in this.”
The atmosphere started to become tense, with Fang Lin showing an extremely hardline attitude, not mincing words with them. The Demon Bone was obtained by him and was in his possession; therefore, it should be up to him how it was distributed.
“I think what you said makes a lot of sense.” Wang Erdan nodded repeatedly, thinking it should be that way.
The people of the Five Elements Sect were so angry that they wanted to sew Wang Erdan’s mouth shut. Despite the tense situation, this guy was actually speaking in favor of Fang Lin, which was indeed a bit too silly.
Mei Yingxue remained calm and looked at Fang Lin, “What you said is indeed reasonable. We didn’t contribute much, so we shouldn’t have a say in the distribution of the Demon Bone.”
After a pause, Mei Yingxue added, “However, we were the first to discover the Demon Bone. Even though you were the one who obtained it, you can’t claim it all.”
Her words were tactful. First, she acknowledged Fang Lin’s merit in obtaining the Demon Bone, but pointed out that they were the ones who discovered the Demon Bone first. Hence, although Fang Lin may distribute the bones, he could not monopolize all of them.
Fang Lin glanced at Mei Yingxue, this woman was indeed smart. She didn’t appear too greedy but was trying her best to obtain her own interests.
Of course, Chi Yunxiao and Dugu Ruoxu were quite upset. They had hoped for one Demon Bone each, for everyone to share evenly.
However, after Mei Yingxue spoke, the implication was that Fang Lin had contributed the most and was entitled to most of the Demon Bones. This would mean they might end up with only two or three pieces only.
Fang Lin started to speak, “In that case, let me be straightforward. The Demon Bone isn’t of much use to me, but if you want it, you’ll have to exchange it for something of equivalent value.”
“What?”
At his words, everyone appeared stunned, followed by expressions of surprise.
“That’s correct, you have to exchange it with something of equivalent value. I am not picky, as long as it’s worth as much as a Demon Bone, you can exchange it.” Fang Lin agreed with a nod.
A few people looked at each other without responding.
“Fang Lin, don’t you think you are being a little too greedy?” Chi Yunxiao sneered.
Fang Lin simply shook his head, “No, I think it’s reasonable. I obtained the Demon Bones, and if you want them, you’ll have to exchange them with something. If what you give is good enough, you can even exchange them for all five at once.”
Dugu Ruoxu glared at Fang Lin, speaking in an unfriendly tone, “Aren’t you afraid that we will team up, subdue you, and take away everything that belongs to you?”
His words weren’t threats, Dugu Ruoxu really had such an idea.
Not only him but Chi Yunxiao was also eager to make a move. Despite Fang Lin’s current strength, they could suppress him if they joined hands.
Of course, it would depend on Wang Erdan’s and Mei Yingxue’s attitudes. If these two went against them, they would have no way to take action.

As soon as he finished speaking, Wang Erdan immediately took something out of the Nine Palace Bag.
“I’ll exchange one!” Wang Erdan grinned without sensing anything inappropriate.
“What is it?” Fang Lin asked, looking at the thing in Wang Erdan’s hand.
Grinning, Wang Erdan said, “This is a treasure from my Five Elements Sect, known as the Five-Elements Stone. It contains the Power of Five Elements.”
“What’s it for?” Fang Lin asked with a sidelong glance.
Wang Erdan scratched his head at the question, “Well, I’m not quite sure about it. Anyway, it should be very useful.”
Fang Lin was speechless, took the stone about the size of a fist from Wang Erdan, and started to examine it closely.
