Dugu Nian looked toward the forest, hoping from the bottom of her heart that Fang Lin would return safely. No matter the result regarding the Demon Bone, as long as Fang Lin was alive, everything would be fine.
Just like that, two more days passed by, but there was still no sign of Fang Lin.
Dugu Nian now began to worry. Although she didn’t want to acknowledge it, Fang Lin had already been in the forest for five days with no progress whatsoever, suggesting a potential mishap.
“Let’s go in and see.” Mei Yingxue stood up and declared.
Everyone cautiously entered the forest but did not dare venture deep inside.
