Chapter 1869 - 584: Destruction or Protection
Chapter 1869: Chapter 584: Destruction or Protection
The purpose is to activate the power left by His Highness, freezing the surroundings with the power of "Silence."
Though he didn’t understand what "Silence" was, it didn’t stop him from using the power of this badge to dodge the killer spell.
And after dodging that killer magic, the Magician fell into temporary weakness, allowing him to get close and eliminate him.
Of course, outsiders would think that the Magician was shredded by his Potion Magic.
"The badge is completely unusable now...
But catching someone this time, gaining a high-tier as a harvest, means a considerable contribution.
Requesting another similar badge from His Highness shouldn’t be a problem..."
He rubbed the badge, confirming it was lost of all strength, and the hooded believer sighed regretfully, taking it off his waist.
"And there are these, after promotion they are useless too, perhaps I should ask some witch to sell them at the Witch Market..."
He lifted the half cloak covering his body, revealing, besides bottles and badges, over a dozen hanging ornaments on his waist.
These were all Extraordinary Items he had redeemed with his own contributions over time.
For convenience of using them at his waist, they were hung there all along.
He selected a few, took them off his waist, and put them aside, closing his eyes and immersing himself into the network.
Although he had already defeated his target, completing a high-tier combat mission, his duty as the general commander of this battlefield was still ongoing, and the war on this planet was continuing!
During his intense battle with the high-level Mage on the surface, those few believers he personally led were each confronting their intended targets.
Among Tier Six there are strong and weak ones, the few believers he summoned were indeed outstanding, but after all, they were not real witches, their strength entirely reliant on Divine Arts bestowed by their Artificial Abnormality.
There isn’t actually such a big gap between them and the Transcendents in the Starry Sky, at least not having the advantage of a witch.
Except for a few Tier Six Transcendents who were really weak, others were still entangled with their targets.
And outside of these believers, other Red Moon believers were also taking actions, cooperating with the Insect Swarm to begin sweeping the planet’s resisting forces, nearly dominating the surface with overwhelming advantage.
Only in the Starry Sky battle, because of the exceptionally strong fleet here, it still cannot be taken down quickly.
After a moment of thought, the hooded believer made a judgment.
"Jin, once you’ve resolved enemies on your side, don’t continue with the cleanup, and instead hurry to the Starry Sky observatory.
The two Tier Six entities there are strong, and can’t be dealt with quickly."
"Should I help eliminate the people first?"
Across the distant city, Jin decisively abandoned his current target, pinpointed the direction, and flew toward the city where the observatory was located, asking via the network.
"Unable to resolve quickly" was not their usual phrasing. A more accurate interpretation is being suppressed, and apparently, getting beaten badly.
"No, don’t worry about it. Your priority is to destroy the Starry Sky observatory, and don’t forget that this is our goal."
"Understood."
Jin shattered a potion bottle in his hand, the potion’s power activated by Divine Arts wrapping his body, and his speed increased another level, streaking across the sky like a meteor.
"I see it!"
Jin’s gaze focused intensely, the vaguely visible white dots in the distance quickly enlarged before his eyes, transforming into a massive spherical building sprawling on the ground when viewed from high above.
Two conspicuous battlefields lay on the edges of the spherical building, wrecking a section of its auxiliary structures.
Even though the battlefield was very close to the spherical building, the building itself hadn’t suffered much damage, clearly suppressed during combat, thus lacking force.
The spherical building rapidly expanded to fill his vision, yet Jin neither dodged nor avoided, flinging more than ten potion bottles, bringing Potion Spell effects akin to meteorites crashing down.
Boom—
The flung potions activated by prematurely cast Divine Arts each transformed into a long-range magic, following the inertia of his throws, bombarding into the spherical building like a meteor shower.
Boom, boom, boom—
The building originally sheltered by the two Tier Six entities rapidly became ruins.
In the face of Tier Six’s destructive power, unless there’s a shield of matching strength, destroying a city would be effortless, let alone just a building.
"Mission accomplished, the Starry Sky observatory has been basically demolished, preparing to finish off, eliminating resurrection possibilities."
Reporting in the network, Jin flipped his hands; a row of golden potions appeared between his fingers once more.
"Such historical remains are better off completely vanished.
Obviously in Starry Sky they’re mostly discarded, didn’t expect people would spend such a significant price to stubbornly rebuild one..."
Using force, he crushed the test tubes held between his fingers, transforming into eight golden trails of magic power bombarding the surroundings.
This observatory wasn’t originally detected internally by the Insect Swarm at all.
This type, which was abandoned long ago, had been considered utterly worthless, not even given a thought to. If it wasn’t for this planet’s church accidentally developing an internal believer, it wouldn’t have been known that this was a Starry Sky observatory.
And coincidentally, within the observatory’s observation range was a newly established Insect Swarm base.
Had it really gone entirely unnoticed, even though the chance of being observed in the Starry Sky is minimal, it’s still not impossible.
