Sea Survival: My Luck is Off the Charts

Chapter 348: I Just Want to Improve So Much

Chapter 348: Chapter 348: I Just Want to Improve So Much

After selecting the locations, she confirmed the construction. Of the five residential district blueprints she had just acquired, Faye Yardley only used one. The rest were for a High Level hospital, a primary school, and an office building.

None of them would be finished in just a day or two.

She would wait two or three days for everything except the residential district to be completed before returning to the island. Some things just had to be seen with her own eyes to be confirmed.

As for the beds and sofas, she figured the people on the island could wait a few more days.

With everything seemingly taken care of, Faye Yardley felt a wave of relief wash over her.

’The list of items on my personal interface is getting longer and longer.’

’This is great. The progress is crystal clear.’

’With just a little more effort, I can break through to Tier Four.’

Looking at the panel before her, Faye Yardley suddenly felt a surge of pride. ’I’m actually pretty strong.’

’Not bad at all. Without even realizing it, I’m already on the verge of Tier Four.’

The closer she got, the more she wanted to reach it in one final push.

’What should I do to keep improving?’

’And I can’t afford to waste any time.’

UGH...

’I just want to get stronger so badly.’

’Should I run another Dungeon?’

The thought popped into Faye Yardley’s head, but she quickly dismissed it.

She had just gotten out of the zombie Dungeon and was in no mood to go back. Even if she did, she’d want to check what she needed first. That way, she could spend her points with a specific goal in mind.

Dungeon 2 was the world of Vampires. Even though she had been there once before, Faye Yardley still didn’t know how to complete the quests.

Her luck had always been good, but it was better to have a clear path to follow. Otherwise, there was no telling how much time she would waste in the Dungeon before she could get out.

Dungeon 5 was the clown’s amusement park. That was probably the most time-efficient Dungeon, since running out of time meant failure.

As for the other solo Dungeons, she had never been to any of them.

It would be best to save any brand-new Dungeons that required exploration for after she had settled all her other affairs.

Otherwise, if she took too long, the people on the island waiting for the hospital and laboratories would grow impatient.

It would also delay her from reaping the fruits of her labor.

’Maybe I should go pay the clown another visit?’

After all, she would be completely fearless this time around.

Not only did she have the Clown Seal and the clown’s friendship, but the last time she entered the amusement park Dungeon, she had also obtained a clown’s black flower that could block one fatal blow in the clown’s world.

A small figure rushed over, trying to pounce on her, but Faye caught the child by the collar and lifted them up.

Bella Yardley looked up in surprise, her expression quickly morphing into a wide grin. "Big sis, you’re back! I missed you so much! You’re amazing! How did you know I was going to pounce on you?"

"I saw you," Faye Yardley said, setting her down. "What have you been up to lately?"

"Bella and Kingston took me out to sea to kill big monsters and fish for treasure chests."

Faye Yardley nodded. "Sounds like you had a good time."

Bella Yardley asked, "Big sis, can you take me with you next time you go somewhere else? I’m a good fighter. I can help."

"Probably not. Kingston tried. Only I can enter solo Dungeons."

Bella Yardley’s face fell. She could only gaze at Faye Yardley with a pitiful, expectant look. She wanted to go. She wanted to fight.

Faye Yardley patted Bella’s head. "Be good. If you want to fight, go find your Mr. Kingston."

As she stepped out of the house, a wave of heat hit her in the face.

’It’s gotten this hot already.’

She walked straight to the thatched-roof shelter, took out her fishing rod, and sat down to start fishing for treasure chests.

It had been a while since she’d last opened any chests, and she suddenly missed the feeling.

’Maybe I’ll get a pleasant surprise.’

"Lucy White, come help me move the ice blocks."

Seeing Willow Yardley calling her from the balcony doorway, Lucy White quickly nodded. "Coming!"

Fishing for chests was a good time to catch up on the various chat channels.

The national channel was as boisterous as ever.

[It’s so hot! Can President Yardley put out some more ice? I’m seriously dying of heat over here.]

[You can fish for chests in the heat the same way you do in the cold. Just stay inside and stick your fishing rod out.]

[I’m so jealous of people who can just move onto an island. Would any kind soul be willing to sell me a house construction blueprint? I’ll pay a high price.]

[That’s weird. Why is it that only applicants for Logan Langdon’s island need to bring their own house blueprints? The other two never mentioned it.]

[LMAO, that’s because the other two aren’t recruiting outsiders at all.]

[Island Master Yardley has recruited outsiders. Have you all forgotten? You just need to have a special skill. My dad’s old friend is a carpenter, so his whole family was chosen to move to the island.]

[And didn’t Island Master Jonas say that conditions on his island are harsh? Only people who are okay with living in tents at first can apply, and he’s prioritizing the old, weak, and disabled.]

The channel was full of all sorts of comments. Faye Yardley read for a bit, then after pulling up a Wooden Treasure Chest, she turned her attention back to the small chat group she had created in the beginning.

There were even fewer people in it now.

’Should I invite a few more people?’

’Forget it. I barely say anything in there anyway. It’s fine if it’s small. It wouldn’t even matter if the group eventually became empty.’

The most talkative person in the group now was Kyle Lewis. It seemed to have become his personal diary and a place to vent. Whenever he had a spare moment, he’d post about what he was doing or what was happening in his life.

Gavin Donovan would occasionally reply with a few words of encouragement or comfort.

As for the other three members, including Faye Yardley herself, they were almost completely silent.

Faye Yardley sent a lucky draw Gift in the group, filled with all sorts of fruits.

Not a single person claimed it. ’Wow, this group has really gone quiet.’

Then she sent a Gift to each of the two huge groups she was in. Having more people really made a difference; they were claimed instantly.

She loved the feeling of seeing the Gifts get claimed instantly. It gave her a strange sense of accomplishment.

RING RING~

"Master Veridian, to what do I owe the pleasure? Did you suddenly think of me because you have something good to give me?"

Master Veridian chuckled. "See this Dungeon Invitation Card in my hand? Interested?"
