She used another sliver of spiritual power to control the speed at which her Water Ability absorbed the Energy Gemstone. She pushed it to absorb frantically, desperately! Soon, the rate at which her Water Ability absorbed the Energy Gemstone surpassed the rate at which the Spiritual Ability Crystal Stone fragment absorbed the Tree of Life’s essence.

Flora Bloom wiped the sweat from her forehead and collapsed onto the gravel ground of the farmhouse courtyard, completely drained.
Her Water Ability had finally broken through to Planet Level!
However, the moment she lost control of it, the Spiritual Ability Crystal Stone fragment began absorbing the Tree of Life’s essence at an even more rapid pace. Meanwhile, her other three superpowers fell further and further away from the Planet Level threshold.

Flora Bloom had thought that this would mean her overall Superpower Level would also break through to Planet Level. But she found that the power she could actually wield was still only at the Nebula Level.
’Looks like my guess was right. Unless I break through to the Cosmic Level, my true power won’t increase at all.’

But the golden thread continued to channel the essence of the Tree of Life, forcing Flora Bloom to constantly devote a wisp of her spiritual power to control it, choking off its energy supply to the Spiritual Ability Crystal Stone fragment.
By now, however, sparing that wisp of spiritual power had become an effortless and trivial task for her.
With her Water Ability at the Cosmic Level, her other superpowers—with the exception of the Spiritual Ability Crystal Stone fragment—could no longer absorb any more energy. As a whole, Flora Bloom’s superpowers had reached a state of saturation.
’It seems I’ll need another Crystal Stone fragment to upgrade my other superpowers.’
Cosmic Level. The first thing Flora Bloom noticed was the vortex in her sea of consciousness. The pristine white cloud that had been there was now smaller. Her skin was still soft to the touch, but she knew that she could no longer be harmed by ordinary weapons or superpowers. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say she was now invulnerable.
