Aside from the Cross family, which kept superpower troops stationed there year-round, the other major families of the Ancient Star Nation couldn’t be bothered to send people to compete for resources.
And because the Vaughn family was constantly fighting foreign enemies, their losses of superpower users were severe. This caused their family’s strength to be far inferior to families of the same level in other regions.
The Cloud Universe Region had thus become a unique place. Unwatched, uninvaded, and uncontested, it was the region with the greatest intermingling of humans and other races.
Planets born in the Cloud Universe Region suffered from constant warfare, and their spacetime was extremely unstable. Only the Vaughn family’s home planet possessed a Space Stabilizer, which kept the planet operational and prevented it from being torn apart by spatial forces.
The Cross family’s military encampments were also generally located on the Vaughn family’s home planet.
Earth was merely an insignificant, unknown little planet born in the Cloud Universe Region. The reason it had attracted the attention of so many family factions and prompted them to send superpower experts was mainly because of the Divine-level Space Fragment.
It wasn’t just about the Divine-level Space Fragment. If the number of internal spatial rifts on Earth reached a critical point and it shattered, the space fragments produced from its annihilation would essentially be crystallized energy. This energy could be used to stabilize a family’s ancestral land and advance the overall evolution of their home planet.
