The sound of horse hooves arose outside the door.

A very ordinary carriage appeared at the doorway.

Assisting her was her maidservant, Cuizhu.

Lin Mianmian adopted a concerned tone: “It seems Young Master doesn’t like the master. Is it because the master hasn’t returned for a long time and Young Master is angry? But the master is doing it for the family; Young Master, please don’t be angry and try to understand the master.”

Chu Jin could barely contain his agitation and was about to speak when Ye Muyu interjected, only looking at Chu Heng, “Master, do you believe what Aunty said?”

Chu Jin tightly clutched her hand, nervously and anxiously watching Chu Heng.

Chu Ziluo also subconsciously leaned towards Ye Muyu.
