Disappointment flashed across the actor’s eyes. He walked to the bed and sat on the side. Gently, he took Natalia’s hand. His heart ached for her.
Gong Jie stood silently by the bed, looking at Natalia’s pale face. There was a hint of disappointment in his expression.
