League of Legends: League of Unknowns

It was crowd-control over crowd-control. Reining in both Renekton and Wukong was quite challenging.

Zhao Tinghua’s Wukong had a very high DPS, almost killing off Lin Dong earlier with his combos. After being reduced to a few drops of HP, it was difficult for Lin Dong to do any effective retaliation.

In this new season, it was difficult for the ADC to survive on the battlefield. It did not matter where you were sent to—top lane, jungle, or the bottom lane. Heck, even the Support was becoming tankier by the day, making the ADC’s life increasingly excruciating to live through.

Luocheng had done everything he could to support his fellow teammate, and yet, when facing these two beasts and The Ball, Lin Dong was still being shredded to death.

After the ADC was slain, the only one left that could face off with the enemies was Wu Sen.

Wu Sen’s Lulu kept moving about while using Glitterlance, firing bolts after bolts of magic attacks at the enemies with Pix, her Faerie Companion. Their magic bolts were piercing through their first targets and hitting the ones standing behind them.

Luocheng, Zhou Yan, and Da Luo were now focusing their efforts in guarding Lulu, kiting the enemies back and forth. They had even depleted a lot of Renekton’s HP. Unfortunately, they were not fast enough to kill the near-death Wukong.

A few moments later, Zhou Yan quickly cast his Q-skill, landing Lee Sin’s Sonic Wave on Orianna. When he saw that his Sonic Wave had landed, Zhou Yan quickly cast Resonating Strike, Tempest, and Dragon’s Rage at Orianna.

Unfortunately, Orianna had shielded herself with Command: Protect.

D*mn it! Thanks to The Ball’s shield, Xie Yi’s Orianna had been saved. On the other hand, things were not looking too good for Zhou Yan. When Blitzcrank, who was nearby, retaliated with Robot Grab, Zhou Yan was defeated as well!

In the blink of an eye, cards were stacked against Team Skycrown!

“This is quite expected. Team Skycrown doesn’t have much of a chance when getting into a teamfight. Besides, Dr. Mundo hasn’t been fully developed yet. Hence, they could not rely on the Madman of Zaun to carry them like how Renekton is doing so for Team Sky!”

Thus, Team Skycrown was now on the disadvantageous side once more. Lulu and Mundo continuously cast their skills again and again at their enemies as the opponent Blitzcrank dashed toward them at full speed!

Blitzcrank was one of the quickest Champions when pursuing prey. Most Champions could not move as fast as the Great Steam Golem, and as long as Jupiter could get close enough, he could pawn another head for the team.

Feeling that he could finally avenge his team, Jupiter dashed forward without giving it much thought. His movements were delicately precise, evading Mundo’s cleaver while dashing forward at a great speed.

“Run!” Realizing that things were not going well for them, Luocheng ordered his team members to flee.

In order to save his teammates, Luocheng purposely moved slower, intending to lure the oncoming enemy.

Nevertheless, Jupiter was a seasoned player. As soon as he saw LeBlanc’s awkward movements, he decided to not waste his Robot Grab on her and kept on dashing forward.

Then, he quickly cast his E-skill, knocking LeBlanc away with his Power Fist. Right after that, Jupiter quickly Silenced her, and in a mere instant, LeBlanc’s HP had been mostly depleted.

Meanwhile, Renekton was tailing closely behind Blitzcrank. As soon as he saw LeBlanc being knocked away, Renekton stepped forward to slash the poor Deceiver!

“Kill ’em! Kill ’em! Kill ’em!!!!” Langjie was psyched!

Finally! Finally they could slay this annoying LeBlanc! They had to kill her!

After getting hit and slowed down, Luocheng knew that it would be difficult for him to exchange blows with Blitzcrank, and so, he quickly cast his ulti to Mimic his Distortion and flee!

Jupiter had no need to use Rocket Grab to pursue LeBlanc as he could catch up to her by simply just running toward her.

After fleeing for a while, Luocheng saw that the cursed robot and crocodile were about to catch up. Thus, he quickly pressed the final skill he had under his sleeves—his W-skill, the real “Distortion”!

In less than a second, LeBlanc quickly dashed out and escaped the persistent robot pursuer.

However, Jupiter had also finally unleashed his Robot Grab at LeBlanc.

He knew that Luocheng had used up most of his skills and was being forced into a corner. Thus, it was impossible for him to miss!

As Blitzcrank’s robotic hand was hurled over the bushes, Luocheng’s LeBlanc had lost every hope of escape. Jupiter had a really great understanding on how Blitzcrank worked, and he was able to keep Luocheng in his grasp even after LeBlanc had Distorted twice!

The audience held their breath as they saw this. The excitement and tension was so thick that you could cut it with a knife!

Team Skcrown had lost two Champions. If they suffered one more casualty, the Baron Nashor would fall into Team Sky’s laps! Team Sky would get enough scores to win the match too!

Could anyone change Team Skycrown’s depressing fate of defeat?

Right when Blitzcrank’s robotic hand was practically a few inches away from LeBlanc, Luocheng’s eyes focused on the flickering Distortion that LeBlanc had left behind…

Then, he swiftly hammered the R-key with his finger!

Just as the robot hand was about to grab her, LeBlanc had vanished into thin air!

Yes indeed! Luocheng had now moved back to the spot he had dashed from using his Distortion skill, and now, he had escaped Blitzcrank’s grasp by Mimicking the same skill!

Not only that, the spot that Luocheng retreated back to was now inside the opponents’ fog of war. Renekton, Twitch, and Wukong instantly lost sight of LeBlanc! The only one left at the rear was Orianna, who was still buffing her teammates’ movement speed.

Naturally, Luocheng quickly struck out with his Sigil of Malice and Ethereal Chains! Xie Yi tried to shield himself with his Command: Protect, however, he was not quick enough.

“Holy Moly! That’s a kill! Fighting Hawk was not only able to escape the Robot Grab, he was even able to pawn an opponent’s head for the team!”

A loud cheer erupted from the audience! It was quite an amazing feat to behold!

A moment ago, Luocheng had been fleeing away from his pursuers using a Mimicked Distortion, moving from one screen to another.

Orianna and Twitch stayed at the rear to prevent LeBlanc from escaping using her tricks. Yet, they did not expect Luocheng to not only be this fast in fleeing but also taking out one of them while he was running away!

“What! What..!?”

Xie Yi was so shocked that he could not talk properly. He had underestimated LeBlanc’s DPS. He knew The Deceiver could zip back toward him using her Distortion, and yet, he had still stood beside the Distortion. Oh, that had backfired real quick indeed!

After slaying Orianna, Luocheng quickly ran for his life.

Of course his opponents would not just let him walk away scot-free after the stunt he had pulled. Twitch was already lying in wait nearby, and as soon as LeBlanc got close enough, Twitch quickly struck with his venom!

“You’re dead! Dead!” Langjie was pursuing Luocheng like a mad man.

How could you blame him? Langjie had been suppressing his anger for so long. Killing him now could at least ease his grudge of being slain 100 times previously!

In just a few moments, Luocheng saw his health bar dropping like crazy! If this kept up, LeBlanc would be slain by Twitch’s venom!

Thus, he quickly cast his W-skill again and dashed away!

He was not going to give that clown the pleasure of killing him.

Langjie was pursuing Luocheng excitedly when suddenly, LeBlanc vanished! In an instant, she had now moved back to the bush behind Blitzcrank!

Without wards, you would think that LeBlanc had mysteriously disappeared! You would not know where she had fled to!

Luocheng had calculated his every move. He would not use his Distortion carelessly without thinking ahead. Whenever he used Distortion, his opponents would be stunned by LeBlanc’s sudden disappearance!

Renekton, Twitch, and Blitzcrank were stunned when they saw LeBlanc blink away the fourth time. They looked around and were at a loss at where they should head to. Then, Jupiter recalled that the last time LeBlanc Distorted away, she had been standing right behind him… at the bush behind him!

“Here we go! Whimsy!”

Just when Jupiter was about to go after Luocheng, suddenly, Lulu appeared next to him and turned him into a critter! Without wasting a second, Lulu cast Whimsy on Luocheng as well, granting LeBlanc a movement speed buff. In an instant, LeBlanc had fled away at high speed toward the towers!

“D*mn it! Contaminate!”

Langjie quickly cast his E-skill and activated Twitch’s Contaminate. LeBlanc only had a few drops of HP left, if he could hit her with this skill, he could slay her.

But… Luocheng had successfully fled through their towers! All three Team Sky members were chasing after her fervently and were still unable to pawn her head! It was quite hilarious to look at!

“Sh*t! He’s still alive! Alive!!”

“This is so amazing! His Distortion was brilliantly utilized! First, he escaped the Robot Grab. Then, he killed Orianna. And then, he even escaped Twitch! It was like he was toying with Team Sky! Not only that, the perfect collaboration with Lulu who saved the dying LeBlanc!”

The commentators were extremely excited as they commented on what was going on.

It was like an underdog escaping from a near-death scenario and killing off one enemy in the process. In the hands of Luocheng, LeBlanc had turned into the most skilful magician on the planet and could appear anywhere as she wished!

The audience were dazed by his artful display of wit and skill! It was already quite amazing to see him finishing off Orianna earlier, and to top it off, he could still manage to escape completely! He had thought of every single escape route!

This was as though LeBlanc had become a bullfighter, donning a red cloak and toying with the stupid bulls in Team Sky. First, lure them to one location and then zip to another spot, wasting their energy and cool-downed skills.

Every single member of Team Sky had a long face that could touch their feet.

Yes, they had the upper hand. So what? Now it felt as though they had already lost!

Sure, Luocheng’s stunts could not change much in their team’s gold and kill count. However, there was one thing that he had managed to do for sure—increasing his team’s morale!
