Journey To Become an Insanely Pampered Wife

Chapter 251: Disciples of Jingsheng Academy

Chapter 251: Disciples of Jingsheng Academy

Xin Cheng smiled at Xiang Ling’s attempt of calling him names. She was so bad that even Wei Guang, who knew nothing about Xin Cheng’s real identity, thought nothing much of her calling him a Demon.

He held her in his embrace for a long while, giving her enough time and comfort to calm down. The other two men also remained silent and gave them as much space as was possible in that small place.

After what seemed like very long moments, Xiang Ling finally pulled out from the hug and stepped back. "From now on, don’t go around making me worry for you like this." She demanded while looking at him with her hope filled gaze.

Xin Cheng gave a little nod of his head in agreement before he patted the crown of her head softly, a sweet and warm gesture that she had been receiving quite a lot recently.

Returning to normal, they all shifted their attention toward the biggest issue they were facing at the moment.

"The four of them should be alright. No?" Xiang Ling questioned when she realized that Su LiangLin and the others had possibly entered the other crack.

"Don’t worry. I’m sure all four of them are safe. I saw them entering the second crack." Zhang Xuan was the one who responded, allowing Xiang Ling to relax.

"Still, we have two issues to solve here. First, how are we going to meet the four of them, and second, how are we going to get out of here." Xiang Ling counted the two issues on her fingers, her brain thinking of ideas that could solve the problems. "Should we just remove the snow from the mouth and go look for them?" She asked next, looking at the three men to hear their opinion.

"That is the easiest way. However, we can’t walk on the shallow snow, and flying isn’t an option because of the array. At most, this method can help us in reuniting with the Crown Prince and his group." Xin Cheng pointed out the issue with the solution.

"Then let’s first find the four of them. We will worry about the second matter after that." Xiang Ling stated as she pulled back her sleeves to blast the remaining snow from the entrance of the crack so that they could step out and look for the other crack.

The men agreed with her and the four of them were ready to implement the plan when they all heard the sound that was coming from somewhere inside the crack.

"It’s coming from here." Wei Guang pointed in a certain area of the rock wall from behind which the sound was coming.

Xiang Ling immediately pulled Wei Guang behind her and summoned her powers as she got ready to attack or defend from whatever was behind that wall. Xin Cheng and Zhang Xuan were also alert and they all waited impatiently.

Moments later, a small crack suddenly appeared on the wall, and then, a powerful force took down a huge part of the wall, sending rocks and dust flying everywhere.

Xiang Ling found Wei Guang immediately pulling her into his arms as he shielded her from the debris as much as possible. There were coughing, some whispers before things went silent and clear. Standing on the other side of the wall were none other than the Crown Prince and his people.

"You all should come over here and see this." Wu Tian spoke while signaling toward the area behind him.

Once the shock drifted away, everyone moved and followed Wu Tian to what seemed like a tunnel built inside the wall of the cliff, leading somewhere deeper.

Xin Cheng took out an illuminous ball that filled the dark place with light and their group of eight followed the tunnel to wherever it was leading. They might have walked for fifteen or so minutes before they finally saw the end that was opening into another part of the forest.

As they all walked out into the clearing, they were greeted by a very unexpected sight.

"What in the Five Realms-"

Xiang Ling stared at the people who all were hanging in thin air with cobwebs locking them in place. Each and every one of them was struggling against the strong bindings of the cobwebs that were sucking out all the energy from their bodies, leaving them helpless and at the mercy of the monster that had locked them there in the first place.

"Aren’t they disciples of Jingsheng Academy? Look at their uniforms!" Zi Yun was the first one to speak when she recognized the uniform of the renowned Jingsheng Academy, the most prestigious and powerful cultivation Academy in the entire Mortal Realm.

Xiang Ling’s eyes scanned all the nine people who were dangling in front of them, some even crying for help. Her gaze finally found their way to a very familiar face, one that she wasn’t expecting to see there at all.

"What are you doing here?" She asked the boy as she stepped closer to the group, making her husbands follow her as the three of them were still alert and were skeptical about the sudden appearance of these nine people out of nowhere.

"Sister Chen, can you help us first? This isnt the most comfortable position to talk, you know."

Xiang Ling scoffed at the kid’s words. She was ready to use her powers to help those nine people down when a sword suddenly intervened and completed her work as it cut through the cobwebs and freed the disciples.

She turned her attention toward Wu Tian, the owner of the said sword, and found his attention fixed on the boy who landed on the ground quite gracefully. The Crown Prince took several steps toward the boy who too had finally noticed Wu Tian.

"You Highness..."

The boy acknowledged the Crown Prince’s presence but he was too busy giving the older guy a cheeky look to remember that he needed to officially greet the man.

Still, Wu Tian didn’t appear the slightest bit angry at the lack of courtesy. He stared at the boy for a moment or two before finally speaking, "Seventh brother..."
