Chapter 256 Night Visit to Longteng Jiayuan and Chen Ye’s Villa
Su Yang asked, “What’s the message?”
Janet replied, “The prompt said that the ability can take effect here.”
Su Yang looked around and saw that it wasn’t blocked by any nearby buildings. The flower gardens in the community were always crowded and were considered public, so it was understandable that the ability could take effect here.
‘However… How can I turn invisible here?’

Being a shark, Janet didn’t care about the gossip obviously going around by the surrounding ladies as he continued pouring water on his head.
This continued until all the water was gone. After he reported to Little Deeny, he took off his raincoat in slow motion, carried his bucket, and went home.
Su Yang was almost all done with his experiment by now, so the timing was just right.
Now that everything was settled, he looked forward to going to Longteng Jiayuan tonight!
Soon it was 9:00 p.m., and when Pool returned home, Su Yang, him, and Janet went out the door.

He stepped out of the bushes, and then headed to Longteng Jiayuan. As Su Yang had expected, his absence in the past few days caused the security guards at Longteng Jiayuan to be a bit lax. After having a look around them, they didn’t see anything unusual so they strolled past him

Su Yang stopped for a full minute before he started walking again.
This time, he carefully circumvented the people before climbing over the traffic interceptor and went inside the Longteng Jiayuan. This was Su Yang’s first time inside Longteng Jiayuan. He had always thought that a place like Longteng Jiayuan was probably a dirty, dark environment which hid dirt and filth to hold the secrets that it had been hiding.
However, it turned out wildly different from his expectations. The impression he got from the TV series were all lies. Longteng Jiayuan was the most beautiful neighborhood Su Yang had ever seen with green trees everywhere along neat and wide roads. Since the height of the villa was lower than ordinary houses, it made the lighting extremely well. Even at night, Longteng Jiayuan had a unique quiet sereneness to it under the moonlit sky.
Su Yang walked on the road of Longteng Jiayuan, looking at the villas on both sides of the road. Some of them had lights on but they also had curtains drawn so the interior couldn’t be seen from the outside. Others had dim lights and it was unclear if no one lived there or if the owner wasn’t there.
‘Where do I start investigating? There doesn’t seem to be any clues…’
Just when Su Yang was hesitating, he suddenly heard the sound of an engine behind him.
Su Yang was busy moving aside since he was invisible. It would be devastating if he was run over because no one else could see him!

The BMW drove past Su Yang and drove into the garage of a villa in front of him.

After a while the villa lit up but no one was seen operating it as the curtains were pulled together slowly and automatically.
As Sixth Liu had said, the residents of this villa area were very cold and indifferent. They would drive all the way into their homes and wouldn’t take a step outside their villa.
Su Yang continued to walk forward. As he walked, Su Yang came to a somewhat familiar one-story villa.

If memory served him right, this seemed to be Chen Ye’s villa. ‘Did I actually walk here?’

After entering the villa, Su Yang studied it. This villa is not large, but the decoration was very luxurious with a simple and modern style overall while sporting a gray theme
Su Yang walked inside by the moonlight. It seemed like there hadn’t been anyone here for almost half a month. Some of the villa’s tables and chairs had a thick layer of dust on them.

Chen Ye’s clothes had been thrown around haphazardly, and the room was in a mess. It felt like the room of a bachelor living alone.
Su Yang had a good look at the room, but didn’t find anything of interest so he went to the study room instead.
There was a desk, a large bookshelf, and a safe embedded in the wall in the study room.
Su Yang looked at the bookshelf and saw that the pile of books on the shelf were all unopened. The books were famous titles of finance, film, and television but they looked like they had been bought to decorate the room.
Su Yang had a good look at the desk and only saw an Apple Macbook on the desk with nothing else of value so he headed to the safe.
When he arrived, Su Yang took out the (Shape-Shifting Vellum) and pointed it at the safe’s combination plate. The front end of the vellum key slowly separated into three small claws that grabbed the combination plate and began to turn it.
After a few turns, the safe opened and there was a stack of cash inside totaling up to more than 200,000 yuan.
Su Yang thought about it and put this money into the virtual space.
He didn’t intend to keep it for himself but suddenly remembered that Wang Shan’s father was still seriously ill and bedridden. Since Wang Shan had died because of Chen Ye, this money should be used to compensate her family.
After taking away the money, the safe was empty.
