Chapter 1329: Primordial Lineup
Chapter 1329: Primordial Lineup
Gaia crawled backward in pain and horror, not understanding why Draco could harm her so easily. His speed and ability being so high was the norm, otherwise without this basic level of power, why would she not rush out and smash him into paste?
Even Lucifer and co were capable of more raw power, often turning the planet upside down and rearranging the landmass before the propagation of sub-humans on a large scale.
But this wound had actually hurt her core!!
She had permanently lost a portion of her Origin Energy!
It may be a small part placed in this avatar, but it was still something tied to her genuine Source Origin!
She couldn't understand! She truly couldn't!
And that lack of understanding led to fear, because if Draco could harm her despite the possession of Origin Energy, then he could kill her as well!
How was this possible?!
Draco stepped forward with his swords gleaming with black fire, a mixture of dark energy and the energy of purest Destruction mixed. Just being near it, one could feel like the matter that made up their cells was slowly being Thanos'ed away.
"My wives will be given to your sons? How bold, you actually dare to covet what is mine." Draco said slowly as he walked over.
"What a dumbass. She doesn't know what happened to the last guy who tried that." Shuangtian said with amusement as she forked her thumb over towards Gaia in a 'get a load of this guy' posture.
Eva faceplamed. "I can't believe Amaterasu and co were stopped by this wench. If we dare to come in here, how could we not be sure that we can survive? Not to mention they should know their surefire kamikaze attack failed, so where is our confidence coming from?"
"Hey, hey, expecting logic from this third rate birdbrain? Don't forget, if mythology is correct, then she had been fucked by almost all her major children, and even some of her grandchildren. This woman is the gigaslut that even the God of Succubi wishes she could be." Shuangtian joked with a loud laugh.
Eva couldn't help but chuckle. "Now that you mention it, it does seem to be the case. No wonder their brains are all fogged up, there's been significant in-breeding at the source level!"
Meanwhile, Draco and Gaia could hear these words clearly from where they were as neither Eva nor Shuangtian suppressed their voices, causing Gaia's expression to warp while Draco's showed disgust.
"Damn, I forgot about that. I don't mind a woman with sexual history, but I definitely cannot stick in it a used cum dumpster like you who has taken it from all levels of your family."
Gaia was left furious by their disdainful words, and the pain from her wound seemed to ache even more in light of this.
"Children! Come to your mother's aid!" Gaia screeched, sending out a pulsing wave of power into the depths of this meadowland area.
Draco paused and glanced into the distance, where terrifying auras arose from the edges of the realm one by one, the malice that burgeoned from that are causing him to raise an eyebrow.
SHUA! SHUA!
He slung his sword over his shoulder and watched with interest as various elemental phenomena occurred one by one across the vast expanse of the meadowland, as though the realm itself were tearing at the seams to accommodate the monstrous presences now arriving.
The sky turned a dull bronze as flames without heat writhed into the shape of a humanoid being. His body was lean and graceful, like a flame dancing to its own rhythm. His eyes were two pits of molten gold, and his voice was the crackle of wildfire.
"Iapetus the tough guy eh?" Draco murmured, recognizing the Primordial of Force and Mortality, often depicted as the executor of divine punishment. His presence alone made the surrounding trees age and crumble into dust, their lives forcibly snuffed out to demonstrate his domain.
Next came a deep rumbling from below, as fissures split the grassy earth, coughing up black smoke and volcanic ash. From within emerged a colossal figure made entirely of obsidian rock, magma running through veins like blood. Each step he took turned the land to lava beneath his feet.
"Coeus, supposedly of high IQ." Eva identified calmly.
The Primordial of Intellect and Inquiry, but this wasn't the scholarly image often carved into myth… this Coeus was madness incarnate. His head was too large, misshapen, with a single glowing rune pulsating on his forehead, distorting space like a cracked lens warping light.
"Looks like he's been thinking a little too hard." Shuangtian quipped dryly, folding her arms under her massive bosom.
"Peh, more like he hasn't been thinking enough" Eva snickered with disdain.
Suddenly, the atmosphere dropped as if something had stolen color, sound, and movement from the air. A being emerged from the empty sky, their body wispy like smoke, yet more substantial than steel. This entity had no defined face, but a thousand eyes blinked open across its robe-like form.
"Krios, right? Nice eyes dumbass." Draco said casually.
The Primordial of Constellations and Time's Cycle. Where he passed, even Gaia's meadow twisted into winter, spring, summer, and fall in looping flashes, time jittering out of sync.
BOOM!
The horizon parted like a curtain, a tsunami of wind heralding the arrival of a titanic, multi-winged serpent with feathers of silver and gold. Its mouth hissed pure sound, and its body pulsed with music that resonated with the marrow of one's bones.
"Themis, but why does it look like dollar store Quetzalcoatl?" Eva exclaimed, somewhat surprised.
"Please don't insult my brother. Austin is far better than this trash." Shuangtian rolled her eyes and smacked Eva's ass then squeezed, causing the celestial goddess to yelp.
This Themis was not the dainty blindfolded judge in mythology, but a rather powerful Primordial of Divine Order, her true form having traits both avian and draconic. Her voice, when it came, sounded like law being written in real time.
"Enough mockery! Stand down and await death peacefully, invaders from afar!"
Draco tilted his head, lips curving. "I suppose the family reunion is complete?"
"Not quite." Shuangtian said, pointing behind him.
Last to emerge was a man dressed in a robe made of writhing shadows, his face an ever-shifting collage of everyone you've ever trusted and hated.
"Mnemosyne," Eva whispered. Primordial of Memory and Souls.
"Heng? Isn't this the fucker that attacked Draco just now? How is he alive?" Shuangtian had a puzzled expression on her face.
"There are supposed to be more, so either he split off a part of his soul to remain or they traded the life of another primordial to somehow restore him." Eva explained as her golden eyes flashed, peaking into the fate lines of these beings.
"Heh, so basically 'somehow Emperor Palpatine returned'? I hate this kind of corny bullshit, why cant people stay dead." Shuangtian snorted unhappily.
Eva glanced at Shuangtian askance. How dare she complain, had she looked into the mirror recently? How do you think our enemies feel when dealing with us?
These are Origin Gods for the love of God! In terms of pure realm gap, it is like someone at the Immortal King Realm unable to smash mere Mahayana/pre-Ascension cultivators to paste.
Imagine cultivating arduously, surviving all the calamities and tribulations to reach such a high realm, but you couldn't kill a bunch of impertinent youngsters and had to watch them grow up to you level then eventually come to slash your neck while doing fortnite dances.
Can you imagine the fear, hatred and despair?
Draco could, and he had to admit, it was delicious.
Anyway, seven of the twelve known primordials had now revealed themselves. Hyperion and Oceanus were already slaughtered like cattle by them, so basically only three were MIA.
Draco cracked his neck. "If this is your reinforcement… then I won't even need to get serious."
"Kill them! Kill them all and bring their flesh for me to consume!!" Gaia's scream of hatred echoed across the landscape, matched only by the low growls and howls of her children, their forms aligning beside her, ready to throw the weight of the Primordial Era itself against a single man.
A single, disgusted, thoroughly unimpressed man.
"Come then, let's see if the First Generation is ready to be extinct." Draco said, his smile cruel as he tilted his head in amusement.
With a roar, all of the primordials charged forth at once, angling towards the single man before them that was less than 1/10th their sizes physically.
However, as they always said, size wasn't everything. This was especially the case with the current Draco, who was like a wellspring of limitless power ready to erupt at the slightest provocation.
The first to arrive was naturally Themis, in the form of a mixed bird and dragon hybrid akin to Quetzalcoatl. She screeched and condensed a wave of divine primordial power in her mouth, firing out a beam towards Draco that was enough to vaporize an entire skyscraper with ease.
Draco simply slapped away the beam with one of his swords, sending it flying to the side akin to a piece of garbage that was flung over.
Themis was dumbfounded by this act, never conceiving that Draco to could manifest such power, because even when fighting Lucifer and co back then, none of them could do this. Their fights were mostly about both sides having infinite energy - one being bloodline and the other being Origin - and great power - one from unmastered eternal bloodlines and the other from origin laws - then clashing against each other again and again till they all got tired then left.
Draco right now was displaying a kind of power that Themis could not fathom, but she realized she did not even have time to be puzzled and Draco had somehow appeared on her back, right above her head.
With a bored expression, he shoved his flaming dragorugio sword manifested from his bloodline right into the nape of Themis' scaly neck, piercing a part of her brain and immediately destroying the entire organ with Destruction Energy flaring within her cranium.
With a scream, Themis' body fell to the ground, thrashing weakly as her exemplary life force as a Pseudo-Origin Being caused her cells to still be alive and active even though her brain was gone, a body without a soul or like a switched on PC without a CPU.
"Themis!"
"My daughter!"
"Sister!"
The Primordials who were still rushing over to attack where shocked and horrified by what they were seeing. Themis was only slightly ahead of the second fastest, Krios, who controlled the wind element and time to accelerate himself forward.
But the fellow came to a screeching halt in mid-air as he did not dare to continue forward, feeling like he would die if he did. As he stood there, he still did not understand how Draco could achieve a near instant kill of Themis, something even those blasted nine fellows couldn't do when fighting together.
The other primordials stopped near Krios, far enough that Draco could not attack them but close enough that they could still see the state of their sister, thrashing about as the Origin Energy within her was still active, trying to repair the damage done.
However, it was an act in futility because Origin Energy was just energy. Without the necessary ability to control it, it was powerful yes, but also very random and untamed.
"Wow, instant kill! This has to be some record right?" Shuangtian clapped with interest, her insidious yet supremely beautiful voice sounding out at this time.
"Not bad, Draco! Let me give you a victory clap!" Eva cheered as she slapped Shuangtian's thick rump, which her entire hand couldn't even fit, and squeezed just as wickedly as Shuangtian did her before.
Shuangtian also yelped and glared at Eva who chuckled and covered her bum protectively, unwilling to be taken advantage of again.
Shuangtian flew into a rage and began chasing Eva all over the place, determined to fondle this Celestial Goddess until her pristine creamy skin became as red as a tomato
