Rubbing her forehead, she checked the color of the sky and her exhausted mother, then shook her head. “The sun is rising soon and I don’t think you’ll have time to go back to bed. Mum, you can take a nap in the carriage later.”

Feng Wu waved goodbye to Feng Xun as she said that, acting as if Jun Linyuan wasn’t there at all.

Jun Linyuan frowned and his intense gaze locked onto Feng Wu as she walked away. His brooding eyes looked like bottomless pools.

Feng Xun turned to Feng Wu and asked, “In the carriage? Are you leaving now?”
