Stardust and gases of countless colors intertwined, forming a colossal tapestry that stretched across the void. This Nebula was simply too vast. Raylo couldn’t even see it in its entirety; he could only watch it stretch endlessly toward the edge of the dark void. It was beautiful, yet deadly. Raylo could clearly sense that the interior of the Nebula was teeming with extremely chaotic and violent void energy. These energies entangled and collided with one another, forming a natural forbidden zone of energy storms.
"This is the place," Austin Sage’s voice echoed in Raylo’s Sea of Spiritual, carrying a sense of settled calm.
Raylo steadied his mind and cast his gaze forward. "Lord Sage, we came here..." Having just escaped from the lion’s den that was the Divine Kingdom of Light, only to dive headfirst into a place that clearly shouldn’t be trifled with, he truly couldn’t understand the Sage’s actions.
"The Void Nebula is one of the most dangerous regions in the void," Austin Sage explained. "The Chaotic Energy here can severely suppress the sensory range of Spiritual Power and Magic. Once you venture deep inside, you’ll be like a headless chicken trapped in a maze, easily losing your way." He paused, gazing profoundly into the depths of the Nebula. "More importantly, this environment serves as the ideal nest for many powerful Void Magical Beasts. Having lived here for generations, they have long since adapted to the energy storms."
Raylo’s heart skipped a beat. He wondered if this place didn’t basically have the words "dead end," "forbidden zone," and "death trap" plastered all over it.
While Raylo’s imagination ran wild, Austin Sage made his move. He offered no further explanation, simply reaching out his hands slowly.

Vast Magic Energy surged from his body. Right before him, identical figures of himself rapidly materialized. These figures were not physical bodies but were composed of pure energy. Yet, each one was incredibly lifelike; even their eyes gleamed with a hint of intelligence. In an instant, over a hundred of Austin Sage’s Energy Avatars hovered silently in the void before them. Each avatar carried a trace of the Sage’s own Spiritual Branding.
Austin Sage’s lips barely moved as he spat out a single word. "Go."
The hundreds of Energy Avatars turned in unison and plunged into the magnificent yet deadly Nebula, instantly vanishing from sight. Having finished this, Austin Sage seemed somewhat exhausted. He sat cross-legged right there in the void, closing his eyes as if entering a deep state of Meditation.
Knowing this was no time for questions, Raylo stood to the side. Watching the Sage enter his trance and the Nebula slowly drifting before him, he settled in for a long wait.
One hour... Five hours... Ten hours...
Absolute, deathly silence surrounded them. The shifting, radiant colors of the distant Nebula were the only signs of movement in this space. Raylo went from initial vigilance to midterm restlessness, and finally to complete numbness. He even began to suspect that the Sage’s avatars had been completely wiped out, failing to cause even the slightest ripple after entering the Nebula.
Just as his patience was about to run dry, a sudden change occurred. Austin Sage, who had been sitting cross-legged like a statue, opened his eyes without warning. A sharp glint flashed across his gaze.
Almost at the exact same time, Raylo felt it too! Waves of incredibly violent and chaotic energy fluctuations—like a collective eruption of volcanoes that had lain dormant for ten thousand years—suddenly surged from the depths of the Nebula ahead. The entire Nebula began to churn violently, like a pot of boiling water!
"They’re here!" the Sage’s voice rang out.
The next moment, SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
Several streaks of light darted frantically out of the roiling Nebula at speeds surpassing Lightning. They were the Energy Avatars that had been sent in earlier. However, trailing right behind them, something far more terrifying was giving chase!
