"Count Raylo, we understand your concerns."
He said slowly.
"We have no intention of prying into your secrets."
"Controlling the Power of a Giant Dragon has always been a major topic of research for Mages."
"The emergence of this Potion has shattered our established understanding of Alchemy, and even of the entire system of Power. The value it holds is immeasurable."
"So, we would like to propose... a cooperation."
Cooperation.
A glint of a smile flashed in Raylo’s eyes.
This was what he’d been waiting to hear.
"I wonder, what kind of cooperation did you have in mind, Master?"
He asked, feigning confusion.
"It’s simple."
Mage Delin said.
"We want to join the research on this Bloodline Potion in your territory."
He paused, then added.
"Of course, we won’t be doing this research for free. In exchange, we can offer... something of equal value."
"For example, some long-lost Alchemy Manuscripts from our collection."
"Or perhaps, some Magic Equipment we’ve crafted ourselves."
Master Wendel added from the side in his booming voice.
"If you agree, I can even personally redesign all the Defense Arrays for your new city! I guarantee its solidity will increase at least threefold!"
The two Legendary Mages were willing to offer such generous terms just for a chance to research the Potion.
Inside, Raylo was bursting with joy, but his face remained thoughtful and indecisive, as if he were weighing a difficult decision.

"I appreciate your kind intentions, Masters."
He sighed and said.

Then, he added.
"The Griffin Knights I dispatched have sent word back. The Cloud Sea Giant Whale should return within the next two days..."

The massive body of the Cloud Sea Giant Whale, like an island floating in the sky, glided silently through the clouds above Black Stone Territory, casting a vast shadow in the pale early winter sun.

Kado stood on the whale’s broad back, hands clasped behind him. The uniquely burly frame of a Hill Giant stood like an unshakable iron tower against the whistling wind.

The Lord’s orders were always concise and clear, rarely as self-contradictory as this time.
A few days ago, the Lord had told him to take this big fella to the seas near Seagull Port to feed, saying, "Let it eat its fill before coming back."
But just a few days later, an urgent order delivered by a Pegasus Knight had summoned him back in a great hurry.
’What was the purpose of these two contradictory orders?’
Kado scratched his enormous head.
He couldn’t figure it out.

The Cloud Sea Giant Whale let out a long, ethereal cry, as if announcing its return.
Its massive body slowly descended, passing through a thin layer of clouds. Below, the nascent city rising at the junction of the mountains and the plains came into clearer view.
Black Stone City.
Seeing the black city walls that had already been joined, the crisscrossing streets and nascent buildings rising within, and the countless figures bustling about the construction sites like ants, an honest, simple smile involuntarily appeared on Kado’s face.

The Cloud Sea Giant Whale landed smoothly.

"Rest well, big fella. I’ll be back for you in a bit."
The Cloud Sea Giant Whale shook its enormous head and let out a low cry.
After settling the big fella, Kado strode toward the nearby Giant Camp.
Before he even got close, a series of dull rumbles and rough roars carried over on the wind.
In a clearing in the center of the camp, Gordo and Ug were sparring.
Unlike their usual wrestling matches that were pure contests of Power, today’s spar was clearly more of an experiment.
Gordo stood in the middle of the field, his feet planted in the dirt like the gnarled roots of an old tree.
Instead of swinging his fists as usual, he held his arms out, fingers splayed, as if manipulating some kind of invisible energy.
Soon, the ground beneath his feet began to tremble violently.
"Rise!"
Gordo let out a low roar and thrust his hands upward!
"RUMBLE!"
A massive earth wall several meters thick, made of hard rock, shot up from the ground and slammed toward Ug on the other side.
"Ha! Is that all you’ve got?"
Ug let out a disdainful roar, his explosive muscles glistening like bronze in the sunlight.
Facing the whistling earth wall, he didn’t dodge or evade. He clenched his right fist, the muscles in his arm instantly knotting up, veins bulging like coiling dragons.
"Shatter!"
He bellowed and threw a punch through the air!
There was no gleam of Fighting Spirit, no flash of Magic—only the purest form of physical Power, pushed to its absolute limit in a single punch!
"BOOM!"
The moment the force of the punch collided with the earth wall, it created a deafening explosion.
That Solid earth wall, durable enough to withstand a Siege Hammer, exploded from the center under the force of that punch like a cracker struck by a sledgehammer, sending rubble flying everywhere!
"Not done yet!"
A glint flashed in Gordo’s eyes as he slammed his hands downward.
"PFFT! PFFT! PFFT!"
Without warning, dozens of incredibly sharp earthen spikes shot out from the ground beneath Ug’s feet, aiming for his ankles and calves from all sorts of difficult angles like the fangs of vipers.
Ug’s reaction was astonishingly fast. He stomped his feet hard, his massive body launching into the air like a cannonball. He did a flip in mid-air, narrowly avoiding the deadly assault.
"Gordo! Are you trying to kill me?!"
Ug roared in displeasure as he landed.
Gordo, however, ignored his complaint. He clapped his hands together again, and more earth walls and more earthen spikes surged up from all directions, forming a giant cage in an attempt to trap Ug completely.
Ug, like an enraged Barbarian Bull, swung his iron fists, smashing every emerging earthen spike and wall to pieces, one punch at a time!
For a moment, the entire sparring ground was filled with flying dust and endless rumbling.
Watching this scene, Kado couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
He could tell that Gordo was clearly testing his control over the Earth Element.
He had been studying with Mage Marlin these past few days. Although he hadn’t awakened a Domain yet, his control over the Earth Element was clearly becoming more and more proficient.
And Ug had become his best sparring partner.
"Hey! You two! Count me in!"
Kado shouted, cracked his knuckles, and was about to charge into the field to join the lively spar.
