Raylo smiled and sat down across from him.
A flicker of thought crossed Raylo’s eyes.
He spoke, feigning nonchalance.
"The world outside is vast and complex. There are Human Kingdoms like ours, and wildernesses occupied by non-human creatures. Of course, there are also some... more troublesome existences."
"Oh?"
Gu’s eyebrows rose, his interest clearly piqued.
"For example, a sect that calls itself ’Light.’"
Raylo lowered his voice.
"The Light Holy See?"

Gu leaned forward slightly, the wrinkles on his face seeming to smooth out a little.
"Yes."
Raylo nodded.

Gu fell silent.

A colossal Cloud Sea Giant Whale was hovering silently in the open space outside the camp.
Its blue-and-white body was like a floating island, its broad, flat back large enough to accommodate hundreds of people.
Raylo stood at the very front of the whale’s back, the morning breeze fluttering the corners of his clothes.
At his feet, Sun, Moonlight, and Lightning were curiously running back and forth, occasionally pawing at the whale’s rough skin.
Behind them, the three Domain Level Giants—Kado, Gordo, and Ug—stood like three iron towers.
And of course, there was Great Elder Gu, his hands clasped behind his back, still dressed like an old farmer.
"Nephew Raylo!"
Otto III’s voice came from below.
He was riding the thousand-meter-long Blazing Flame Giant Dragon as it slowly ascended.
"I still have some time, so I’m going to visit an old friend in the Black Stone Mountain Range."
Otto III said in a resonant voice.
"There’s no need for us to travel together. Let’s just meet at Storm Cape."
Raylo’s heart stirred, but he didn’t ask any questions.
"Alright. Then we’ll meet again at Storm Cape."
"Hahaha, see you then!"
Otto III laughed heartily, steered the Blazing Flame Giant Dragon in a different direction, and turned into a streak of crimson light, flying toward the depths of the Black Stone Mountain Range before quickly disappearing over the horizon.
Raylo watched him go, lost in thought.
"My lord, shall we depart?"
Kado’s voice pulled Raylo back from his thoughts.
"Let’s go!"
Raylo ordered.
The Cloud Sea Giant Whale let out a long, ethereal cry. Its massive body began to accelerate, flying smoothly and swiftly in the direction of Storm Cape.
