Chapter 611 - 448: Divine Weapon Broken Flow, Defeating Domain-Level Foes
Chapter 611: Chapter 448: Divine Weapon Broken Flow, Defeating Domain-Level Foes
"You’re courting death."
Raylo’s voice was completely flat.
He glanced at Najasha and patted the back of Lightning’s neck.
"Lightning."
"ROAR!"
Lightning responded with a draconic roar. Blue electricity exploded around its body, forming a sea of thunderbolts.
Thunderbolt Domain!
Myriad thick blue bolts of lightning materialized out of thin air, forming a cage that descended from the heavens, instantly enveloping Najasha and the Feathered Snake King she rode.
"HISS!"
The hundred or so small Demon Serpents on Najasha’s head sensed the fatal threat and writhed madly, trying to resist the thunderbolts surging from all directions.
The Feathered Snake King also let out a piercing shriek and spewed a thick green poisonous mist, attempting to corrode the lightning.
Raylo paid it no mind.
His right hand had already gripped Broken Flow at his waist.
SHING!
The faint sound of the blade being drawn was nearly inaudible amidst the myriad peals of thunder.
A translucent stream of Sword Qi left the blade.
It didn’t look remarkable. It had no dazzling radiance, no terrifying presence.
It simply flew out.
And then, it arrived.
It was too fast for the eye to follow, as if the moment it was unleashed, it had already reached its destination.
SQUELCH!
A muffled thud.
The enormous Feathered Snake King, in the middle of spewing its poisonous mist, suddenly froze.
The next moment, a perfectly smooth line of blood appeared on its neck, then rapidly widened.
Its massive head, along with a good portion of its body, slid right off. The colossal creature had been sliced diagonally in two.
The foul-smelling blood and entrails rained down from the sky.
Raylo didn’t pause.
The instant he unleashed the first strike, he gave his wrist a nimble flick.
A second translucent stream of Sword Qi immediately followed, aimed straight for Najasha’s head as she fell from the remains of her mount.
"No!"
A look of utter horror finally appeared in Najasha’s eyes.
She never would have dreamed that the Human Lord who, in her memory, had needed a dragon and an army just to hold his own, could now unleash such a terrifying sword strike.
The shadow of death loomed over her.
In the nick of time, her body instinctively ducked.
SHHNNK!
The Sword Qi grazed her scalp as it flew past.
In an instant, the writhing snakes on her head were severed at the root, the cuts as smooth as a mirror.
Her now bald head, stripped of its snakes, looked almost comical.
But Najasha couldn’t laugh. She only felt an icy chill on her scalp, followed by searing, agonizing pain.
She plummeted from the sky, watching as the blue streak of lightning shot past her, not even sparing her a second glance.
"How... is this possible..."
’How could he be this strong?’
Najasha muttered in a daze.
As a Domain Level Powerhouse, she naturally had the ability to stabilize herself and hover briefly in the air.
But now, her eyes were filled with the terror of having just escaped death. She chose to let her body fall, not daring to make the slightest move that might attract the attention of the figure streaking past above.
Raylo didn’t give the little interlude a second thought.
He had only ever had one target.
The Six-armed Snake Demon!
Lightning pushed its speed to the limit, becoming a streak of blue light that tore across the sky.
Ahead, the battlefield of Gaius and the Six-armed Snake Demon was just within reach.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Gaius, riding his Thunder Dragon companion, was locked in a frantic exchange of blows with the Six-armed Snake Demon.
He wasn’t using any fancy techniques.
His Iron Wall Domain was fully deployed, forming solid, iron-gray curtains of light that forcefully blocked the Six-armed Snake Demon’s hurricane of Sword Qi.
Meanwhile, the Thunder Dragon constantly spewed golden thunderbolts, harassing it from the side.
Both at the Domain Level Peak, Gaius chose to use his strongest defense to clash head-on with his opponent’s strongest attack.
The Six-armed Snake Demon’s six Treasure Sabers moved in an impenetrable flurry, each strike containing the power to shatter mountains. The intersecting streams of Sword Qi tore the surrounding space to shreds.
"Hahaha! Human! Do you only know how to hide in your shell like a turtle?"
The Six-armed Snake Demon let out a piercing, crazed laugh as its assault grew even more ferocious.
"You can’t even break through my defense, and you think you can ascend to the Calamity grade? You monster!"
Gaius retorted in a deep voice, his expression grim.
Although he could block the attacks, his opponent’s Power was indeed greater than his own. It was only a matter of time before he was defeated.
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of a familiar blue streak of lightning.
"Your Highness Raylo!"
Gaius’s spirits lifted.
The Six-armed Snake Demon had also noticed Raylo’s high-speed approach. A trace of contempt flickered in its crimson, vertical pupils.
"Another one comes to die!"
It freed two of its arms, swinging two Treasure Sabers in a mid-air slash toward Raylo.
Two blood-red streams of Sword Qi, tens of meters long, crossed hundreds of meters in an instant with a piercing whistle, cutting off all of Lightning’s paths forward.
Lightning traced a nimble arc through the air, relying on its extreme speed to evade the two streams of Sword Qi.
Raylo didn’t rush to get closer.
He simply had Lightning circle on the edge of the battlefield, hundreds of meters away, and then raised Broken Flow.
Then, he gently swung his sword toward the distant Six-armed Snake Demon.
Another translucent stream of Sword Qi.
It was silent, yet astonishingly fast.
The Six-armed Snake Demon was focused on suppressing Gaius. Sensing a sharp aura approaching, it swung one of its sabers impatiently.
A piercing stream of Sword Qi shot out to meet the translucent Sword Qi.
In the Six-armed Snake Demon’s mind, its own Sword Qi would easily crush this attack.
However, what happened next made the cruel smile on its face freeze solid.
