There was now a bond between Lin Xuan Qi and the Natal Puppet.
He could sense what the Natal Puppet sensed and the wooden touch of the chest on the Natal Puppet was apparent in his Spiritual Sea.
And now that the bond was established, it was time to try and control it.
Lin Xuan Qi placed his palm onto the dantian of the Natal Puppet.
The metallic surface of the dantian depressed, revealing a compartment and he filled it with Five-Element Stones.
He placed ten into it, and tried another ten.
After which, he tried with twenty.
The compartment was only the size of his palm but it miraculously could take in more than it should.
It hit him after a moment of pondering.
Although it didn’t seem to be one, the compartment was a storage Artifact by itself.
He could add in a lot more Five-Element Stones to power it if he wanted to.
But knowing how the Five-Element Stone and Qi was, being many times more powerful and effective than Spirit Qi, he figured that he wouldn’t need to put in so much.
Just in case it might be too powerful for the Natal Puppet to bear.
The compartment closed when he was done and he chanted the spell in the manuscript.
When he was done doing so, the Natal Puppet gave out a burst of shock wave into the surroundings.
As if it was the Natal Puppet’s first breath.
Clank.
Some of the pots inside the lab broke when the shock wave hit them.
But Lin Xuan Qi wasn’t bothered by it.
His focus was on the Natal Puppet at the moment.
Slowly, the limbs of the Natal Puppet moved, and its hands held onto the edge of the wooden chest.
Its body sat up and the head without any features on it turned around.
The jaws of Lee He Song and Zhi Yong slackened when they witnessed what was happening.
"Master Lin... It moved..." Zhi Yong pointed at the Natal Puppet and said anxiously.
Lee He Song frowned and held the sword in his hand tightly.
"Relax. I am in control of it." Lin Xuan Qi said and the Natal Puppet stood up, turned over to Lee He Song and Zhi Yong, and it cupped its hands at them.
Zhi Yong and Lee He Song gave out a sigh of relief and they walked towards it hesitantly.
Both couldn’t help but marvel at how the joints and posture of the Natal Puppet seemed so human-like.
"Master Lin, Can fly?" Zhi Yong glanced over at Lin Xuan Qi and asked curiously like a child.
Lin Xuan Qi shrugged and said, "I wouldn’t know."
He too was eager to find out himself but it wasn’t the time and place to do it.
The Qing Feng Sect disciples that were still lurking outside might sense something wrong if he tried and let it fly in the air.
With the Five-Element Stones powering it inside, he sensed that it was able to be at the same level of cultivation as he was, instead of a level or two lower if it were powered with Spirit Stones.
The most that he was willing to try at the moment was for it to try and use the Five-Element Qi.
And once he gave the order in his Spiritual Sea, the Natal Puppet pulled back its arms and held its fists at its waist level.
Then, it lowered its knees.
A basic stance of the Five-Element Fist Style was made by it.
The Natal Puppet raised its right arm and turned its waist to the side.
Five-Element Qi from its dantian flowed towards its fist.
Fire engulfed the fist when it punched out and it was enough for Lin Xuan Qi.
The fire died out in an instant and the punch stopped.
There would be time to explore and experiment with what it could do but it was getting late.
"Let’s see if I could do this." Lin Xuan Qi took out his toad statue and held it at the Natal Puppet.
The toad statue gave out a glow when he directed his Five-Element Qi to it and the air surrounding the Natal Puppet began to get warped.
Whoosh.
Miraculously, the Natal Puppet got sucked into the toad statue in the next moment.
It had disappeared from where it was, leaving only the huge wooden chest behind.
"Enough for today. Time to go back and have a good rest." Lin Xuan Qi said while he kept the toad statue in his sleeve pocket.
He was in a better mood now that he had the Natal Puppet.
The few days of running around with the Qing Feng Sect disciples tagging along behind him was at least worth it.
Lee He Song and Zhi Yong were also full of smiles at the progress he was making.
They promised to work even harder to catch up to him as much as possible.
Lin Xuan Qi had given them the opportunity to cultivate and protect the Lin Clan and they weren’t going to disappoint him.
And with that in mind, the three of them left the lab and headed back to their bedrooms.
Lin Xuan Qi hummed a tune as he headed for the room of Yue Jie.
He was now spending more time with Yue Jie and Liu Shi Shi since it wasn’t convenient for Xue Cong and Yue Xin now.
Xue Cong and Yue Xin didn’t mind as they were also keen for Yue Jie and Liu Shi Shi to be able to bear a child for him.
In their upbringing, it wasn’t something unusual for them.
Having more children was considered a fortune for the family, and for the Lin Clan, it was a necessity with only two children waiting in line for the moment.
Once the clan became even bigger with more businesses and assets to take care of, there would be a need for someone to share the load with Lin Xuan Qi.

When Lin Xuan Qi pushed the doors of Yue Jie’s room open, she was still waiting for him, while checking on the accounts.
The moonlight shining through the doors made her skin glow when it shone on her.
She was looking as dashing as ever.
"Stop looking at numbers, it’s time for bed with your handsome husband." Lin Xuan Qi said as he closed the doors behind him.
She shook her head at him but she closed the account books while doing so.
