As he continued doing that, she said, " Are you deaf or what?"
Yang Bei raised his head puzzled and Ning Mei getting up said, " I told you to stop doing that. I have a few things, which might be not all you need but still better than what you are using right now.
Saying so, she opened her bag and took out a few things. There were bandages, ointments and an aluminium bowl.
Yang Bei did not continue after she told him this time. He looked at her fidling with that huge bag and said, " That bag of yours look double of your own weight. "
On hearing him, Ning Mei chuckled and said, " Hehe, no. It is not double my weight. But definitely more than half of my weight. "
After that, she collected some water on the bowl and heated it over the fire.
And then helped him clean the wound of his. When she was applying the ointment on that, she said, " It is not the best ointment to be applied in such gastly wounds like yours but it is definitely better than nothing. "
Yang Bei was amazed that the girl was not repulsed by the wound. Or most girls like her would be afraid to even see. She might be studying medicine or something, he thought to himself.
He thought something and then asked, " What is your name, by the way? "
Ning Mei glanced at him for once before turning her eyes back on what she was doing and said, " I had already told you. But because you have a hearing problem and did not really hear half of my words, I wouldn’t mind you and say it again. My name is Ning Mei! "
Hearing her, Yang Bei froze again. He muttered softly, "Mei?"
Ning Mei nodded and said, " That’s right. That is my first name. "
She then giggled and said, " How wonderful that you heard this! Hehe!"
It was not that Yang Bei was really deaf or something. It was just that he was lost in his thoughts that he did not pay attention to her.
After she was done, she raised her head and saw Yang Bei looking at her with intent eyes. Ning Mei sat down in front of him defensively and said, " What? You think I am being a creep again? Yang Bei interestedly raised his brows and said, " Really?"
Ning Mei nodded her head like a heh pecking on grains and said, " Yes.. and his voice, Oh my God! I could listen to him blabber nonsense all my life! "
Yang Bei smiled a little hearing her speak something or the other.
Like this, Ning Mei and Yang Bei were struck in their for a whole four days. That strom was the worst that Ning Mei had ever witnessed.
In that four days, Ning Mei and Yang Bei had helped each other a lot in surviving. And the many things Ning Mei had in her bag came in handy.
She could not thank God for the lot of food she had saved that had lasted for them in those days. Orelse what would she have done without food!
During those days, Yang Bei and Ning Mei had come to know about each other a lot.
Yang Bei had told her that his family owned a lot of businesses and they were assosiated with underworld. They were based on the Europe side. Ning Mei had already guessed that ofcourse, when she had seen his wound.
She had not expected a man filled with wounds, to operate himself and take out a bullet on his own in a cave like this, to be any cashier.
Ning Mei had told him that she was a university student. She did not disclose about her being assosiated with an underworld organisation. He was himself a part of the underworld. And being a member of these world, she had understood that one organisation did not have much harmony with the organisation.
It was later that, Yang Bei found out the whole truth about Ning Mei.
On the fifth day, Yang Bei’s men finally found them and rescued them.
They exchanged each other’s contact details. And Yang Bei promised that they would meet again. Ning Mei too, wanted to meet him again. Because they had turned out to be very good friends in this while.
On the other side, Si Jingli and Gu Yeze had gone crazy serching the lost Ning Mei! They had no information about her from the last four days!
And Gu Yeze had been pressuring Si Jingli to find her even from the hell!
Their men were searching the entire mountain. But it was not easy, as the mountain was covered with dense trees and they were not able to do anything untill the storm subsided.
And even when the rains stopped, the mountain was in a bad condition.
So Jingli’s team found a few of Ning Mei’s friends. They were also in bad condition, and the worst thing was, one of them had lost his life.
But they still could not find Ning Mei. How would they? Because she had unknowingly walked far away to the other side of where they were supposed to be.
He was on the verge of crying, because if Ning was not found, he knew Gu Yeze would burn the world up.
On the fifth day, Gu Yeze could not wait any longer, and he was about to leave his work on pause and go there to search for her himself. But then he got a call, saying that she had returned back. It was only then that he got his breath back.
