But Yang Bei seemed to care less about it.

Gu Yeze patience ran out as she stepped forward angrily. His intentions violent.

She wanted to ask, where he was taking her. But Gu Yeze had already asked that, and this man simply answered saying that he was taking her somewhere where she rightfully belonged. Where? In hell?!
She quickly took a glance across the room and then at her family. Yang Bei’s men had surrounded them from all around. Even if Gu Yeze’s men now try to do something, there will be some harm or the other.
Ning Mei also knew that though the conversation, seemingly felt light hearted and Yang Bei looked like a prince, but she could she the ruthlessness he would show if things did not go his way.
She sighed and said, " Alright, I will go."
"NO!" Everyone collectively yelled. Their faces now filled with horror that was not present even when Yang Bei’s men had broke into their house unannounced with guns.
They started saying something or the other trying to convince her otherwise. No one in the family wanted to let her go with this man, to who knows where.
Ning Mei looked at them and sternly said, "My decision is final. "
Hearing her, a frown settled on everyone of their faces. They could not allow Ning Mei to go to any potential danger, and especially in this condition. And then they heard Ning Mei continue, " And don’t worry much, nothing will happen to me. " She hoped Yang Bei would not break this last hope of hers to not hurt her.
The last line she said as she looked at Yang Bei. And on hearing that, a smile bloomed on Yang Bei’s face.
Ning Mei then walked forward and came and stood in front of him. She had clear disappointment in her face, and said, " This isn’t very nice, Yang Bei. To take me at some unknown place like this, by scaring my family and pointing guns at them. I had not expected this from you. "
Yang Bei shrugged and said, " Trust me, Xiao Mei. I had no intentions of hurting you and neither these people. All you have to do is come with me willingly. "
Ning Mei looked at him with narrowed eyes, befure turning back shd looking at the sad faces of the Gus. Her eyes then met with Gu Yeze and she felt her heart squeeze. He was standing frozen stiff. She turned and looked away from him. As the more she looked at him, the more her heart would waver.from her decision.
Ning Mei then walked out of the room, led by Xiao Zhan, to the chopper.
And after Ning Mei left, all the attention tuned back at Yang Bei.
Gu Yeze’s mind and mood was in the most horrible of them all. Yet he stood carried his face of stone. With no expression.
It was then Elder Gu said.woth anger in his voice, " Take good care of my granddaughter in law and return her back safely. If she recieves even a scratch, the Gus will come for you and wipe your whole clan."
Yang Bei smirked and said, " How wishful, old man! But you must speak less with your limited knowledge. And return her? You can forget about it. The Yangs and the Gus can never be relatives. You must know that. "
It was only now that the family members eyes widened, and Gu Yeze’s suspicions came true. This man is from that Yang clan!
" And from now, you all can stop concerning about Xiao Mei. And put your focus on saving your Gu Clan. Because the countdown of the demise of the Gus glory starts." Saying so, he turned around and walked away.
As Yang Bei walked out the mansion, his men left too. And soon the copters left. Gu Liya ran out in hurry to sneak the last glimpse of Ning Mei before they left. But she could not see her.
While Gu Yeze and Gu Shaoting kept standing in the same place without moving. He had a turmoil going on in his heart and mind.
It was evident that Yang Bei was here to not only take Ning Mei away but to also openly challenge the Gus and offically restart the rivalry between the Gu clan and the yang clan.
