Ning Mei placed her hands on her waist and huffed. She said, " I understand why you avoided me for the three years. But would you like to explain, why you acted like you did not love me, least did not know me at all, the last few months!? "

This had Gu Yeze bitting the inside of his cheeks. Finally! He looked at his wife’s furious face, and he was sure he would be kicked off the bed once he tells her the real reason.

Ning Mei, on the other side, was literally flaring her nostrils. To think that this man played her dumb all these months!

Now that they came clear on everything and knows everything, Ning Mei now was clear that he had to no reason at all to play strangers with her when they met at the club, then the hotel, then even after marriage!

He not only acted strangers with her, but also married her agreeing the stupid challenge she made with him that she would make him fall for her.

She always felt he had his own reasons om agreeing to marry her. And now she knew!

And then he even on the first months of their marriage acted as if he did not love her!

How dumb and stupid must she have looked!

He then cleared his voice, in attempt to ’increase’ the decibel of his voice. And then finally confessed in a audible tone, "I was just having a little fun."

Just as I guessed! Ning Mei thought to herself. She then waited for him to continue.

" I just wanted to experience how it felt like to be chased by your loved one. Why should girls have all the fun after all? I wanted to be cherished by you and courted by you. So... I played a little game." Gu Yeze confesed all this with a cute puppy face. As if he was afraid of being scolded by her.

" I am sorry. Please don’t be mad at me." He apologized with the same puppy eyes and doshearted Little face. One could actually see no difference between this twenty seven years old and a sad little three years old.

" Aww.... My baby. Come here. " Ning Mei awed and pulled him in her arms. She initially planned on being mad on him for sometime. But when he was making faces like this, how in the world could she bring herself to get angry on him.

Infact, it felt like a crime if she would be mad at him.

And whatever he said was justified. She also played a little game of hiding their marriage from their families. So it did not matter much if he played a harmless little game for having fun.

Because the main thing was, he never made things difficult for her and had always stood next to her and loved her in his own way from the day one.

And deep inside, Ning Mei also very well knew that she could not give Gu Yeze that much attention to chase him, as she would get busy with her newly flourishing career and highly dramatic family drama, or day to day incidents.

Instead it was him who showed so much of effort everytime, and compensated the time between them. And Ning Mei would forever he grateful for him.

Ning Mei hugged him and Gu Yeze snuggled his face on her neck, taking in her heavenly scent as much as he could.

After a few seconds, he wimpered, " You scared me. I was thinking that you would be so... Mad at me."

" Oh.. my baby was scared?" Ning Mei asked with a smile. She loved when he acted childish and spoiled with her.

" Mhhm." He nodded and said, " Yes. You scared me so much. Now you have to compensate for that. "

" How do I compensate, my love? " Ning Mei asked pamperingly.

Gu Yeze pulled out of the hug with big shiny eyes, as he looked at her and said, " Kiss me. Hard."
