Chapter 335: COLLECTING CELEBS LIKE POKEMONS
Chapter 335: COLLECTING CELEBS LIKE POKEMONS
Nevertheless, Yu Lian had succeeded in securely some small fun talk shows and podcasts, but they were of not much importance. They would not be able to make much impact, so as to make his career and popularity!
Now here is the real issue. Xu Ting was not an actor that they could help him by secure a role. But he was in the singing industry. He has to have popularity, before he gets his chances as a playback singer or to organise his own concert. And Ning Mei did not think that it would be any beneficial for Xu Ting to join any band. That won’t work for now.
They all started thinking. Everyone were racking their brains, but no one was getting any idea. The girls were thinking elof they should ask some director or music producers to give Xu Ting a chance. Because once he gets a chance, he would definitely be the best. But that was the problem. It was not that easy. In this industry, popularity speaks.
At last, it was Tang Xuhang who was getting bored in the room with everyone silent and deep in thought, stretched himself and casually said, " Ahh! Xu Ting. Leave the industry. And join youku. You will make good money with your talent there . "
Hearing him, Ning Mei’s eyes suddenly lit up. Yes! That was it! She turned to Xu Ting and said, " Why leave the industry and do youku, when you can do youku and gain popularity! "
When Tang Xuhang first said it, Xu Ting just glanced at him, not taking his words seriously, but when Ning Mei agreed with him, Xu Ting furrowed his brows and asked, " You want me make videos on Youku? "
Ning Mei nodded with bright eyes and his frown deepened.
" But.. " Xu Ting did not continue as he looked at her with disapproving eyes. It would take forever for him to gain fame in that platform, not to mention, he doesn’t even have an weibo account with many followers.
On top that he lacked so many things for that. He did not have a good camera to shoot, or a good microphone to record, neither does he has any editing skill to edit his videos. He was also not sure whether he could manage his Youku page in a way that would reach him to fame.
He said, " But you said you would help me. " If he would have to do Youku videos by himself, what was the use of getting signed with Sky Entertainment.
Ning Mei read the confusion and disapproval in his eyes and she shook her head, " Ahh- ahh! Xu Ting, you are getting it wrong.
You indeed have to make Youku videos, but all you need to do is sing and the rest of everything, we will handle it. "
Ning Mei saw everyone looking at her with questioning eyes and she explained it.
As Xu Ting would not be able to handle everything by himself, they would help him record the video was songs, then edit them accordingly and post them.
Xu Ting could sing the covers of already famous songs, or anything he wants. And if they upload a video or two everyday, they would be able to reach a wide range of audience.
Also, Ning Mei instructed them to promote his videos as much as possible. The more audience, he would be able to reach, the more fame he would gather, and the more opportunities they would be able to secure for him.
Everyone seemed impressed by the idea. It would really work, and all that’s needed was to implement it into action and put some heard work and patience.
It was then that Tang Xuhang got back into the topic. He said, " Now goddess, tell me. How did you manage to make Chen Yang follow you on Weibo. He only followed twenty five people in this huge industry and now with you added, he follows twenty six people. Even the famous celebrities don’t get that privilege. Do you know him personally or what?! "
Ning Mei looked at Tang Xuhang who looked really curious to know, and she realised that this man is really gossipy!
She pursed her lips, and at last made up her mind to tell them all the truth. Then they heard a loud notification sound from Tang Xuhang’s phone. He glanced at it curiously and the next second, his eyes widened like sausages, if not bigger!
" You! Goddess Ning! " He yelled. The way he shouted for a moment made Ning Mei’s heart leap.
" What?! " What is with this reaction!
" See your phone! Song Fena has also followed you! " He said eagerly.
Ning Mei pulled out her phone and saw that indeed Song Fena has also followed her on Weibo. Maybe she too got the news about the confirmation of role.
Song Fena was one of the highest paid actress in the industry. Though she did not hold the title of the National treasure, that did not mean her popularity could be underestimated.
That was one of the reasons, why this movie and the role was such a huge opportunity for her! All the legends working on a movie would not make it any less of a masterpiece. And that is going to be another huge plus point in her port folio.
But the interesting thing was she did not ever think that neither Chen Yang or Song Fena would follow her on Weibo. After all they have worked with uncountable number of people, some with sky high fame, money and power, but they don’t follow each of them.
She then heard, Tang Xuhang comment from the side, " Goddess Ning is collecting celebrities on her Weibo like Pokemons. " Everyone laughed out loud. It was indeed kind of truth. After Chen Yang followed her back, within half of the day, many celebrities had flocked into her account and followed her.
She then dropped the bomb, " It is actually that, I have got the role of the second main lead in Chen Yang’s and Song Fena’s upcoming movie. "
" WHATTT!! "
