Chapter 333: NATIONAL TREASURE FOLLOWED YOU
Ning Mei looked at the director who also paid attention to her, as he was also looking forward to the hearing her answer. And the one who looked the most curious was the old writer. He eyes instantly sharpened when Chen Yang proposed the question.
Ning Mei sighed as she took a moment to think and frame her answer. Then she slowly raised her head with a confident smile on her face. Honestly, Ning Mei was feeling like she was at the finales of some beauty pageant, where her answer would determine her fate.
She chuckled at her thought in her heart. Then she said the answer she had come up with. " While we mostly paid attention to the heart break that Yang Guixi faced, and her futile tragic wait in the part of script that we received, we were all skipping the part that Yang Guixi was also a skilled swordwoman.
She was heart broken, kind and strong, yes. But she was also an innocent young girl who was awaiting for her love to return. That is the reason I chose this scene. As this is one of the introductory scenes of the character, it should be special.
Also in this scene, she is shown to be practising with the sword together with training others, that shows how capable she is in the field. Then she gets the news about Qin Guang’s arrival, and the shocked surprise she gets shows about the eagerness she has to meet him. It was like a dream come to for her.
And the next scene shows the pure innocent love of a happy young girl. I thought, this scene might help me in depicting Yang Guixi’s character more properly. "
The three men listened to Ning Mei very attentively. It was then that the writer broke the silence and said, " If she is not selected the one to play Yang Guixi, no one will. " Everyone turned to look at the old man in surprise.
Ning Mei’s heart skipped a beat. The seriousness with what the old man said, Ning Mei for a moment thought that she was blatantly rejected.
It took a moment for Ning Mei to register his words and she sighed. Old man, could you not please say such a pleasant thing with that straight, serious face. It makes me nervous. My brain takes time to process , okay?!
The director and Chen Yang nodded with a smile. And Ning Mei thanked them.
The director stood up and walked up to Ning Mei, followed by the other two men. Yu Lian also came up to her artist. He shook hands with both the girls and said, " Miss Ning, Miss Yu , would you have any issue if we sign the contract today itself? "
Both the girls looked surprised and looked at each other! On the spot signing of the contract?
Initially, the men were sending the auditionees back home for now after the auditions, because they belived that they needed time to think and choose the best Yang Guixi.
That had told everyone that whoever will be selected, will get a call by today evening and will be informed.
The actress that was assigned before was also choosen very carefully. But unfortunately, she met with an accident. But now, that they see this girl, it felt as if Yang Guixi had come to life. Especially, the writter. He had strong hope that this girl would do justice to Yang Guixi’s character.
The signing of the contract was completed within an hour. And the clauses and conditions in the contract were also just and fair.

Ning Mei sat in the car, feeling overwhelmed and in disbelief. She took a deep breath as she turned to look at Yu Lian who was driving the car. Ning Mei had a big smile on her face as she turned the pages of her copy of contract.
Yu Lian turned to look at the exicted little girl, who could not seem to move her eyes away from the contract. She laughed and said, " Alright, alright. You have been gauging at the contract for the last 15 minutes now. "
Ning Mei kept the papers back into her bag securely and said, " Oh my God! Do you belive it, Yu Lian?! I am going to work in a movie written by Hu Xutong, directed by Yuan Sen, and the leads are Chen Yang and Song Fena! "
Yu Lian giggled and said with impressed eyes, " Yes. And Chen Yang even followed you on wiebo. "
Ning Mei nodded her head with bright eyes, and said, " Yes! And the netizens have been flocking into my profile since then! God! Yu Lian, I am really happy! "

When Ning Mei reached Sky Entertainment, she saw Jun Liqing having a talk with both Tang Xuhang and Xu Ting. She sat beside them and asked, " So how is everything going on with the both of you? "
Seeing Ning Mei, Tang Xuhang’s eyes instantly lit up and he came up to her as if a puppy wagging his tail and said, " Oh goddess, you have grown so much more beautiful in just two days! " Then he blinked and asked , " Did you miss me? Also! Also! Also! I just saw that the National treasure has followed you back on Weibo! The internet is in uproar! Do you know him or what? "
In the process of asking his goddess, Tang Xuhang had leaned forward near Ning Mei’s face as he blinked and awaited for her answer.
Jun Liqing and Yu Lian looked at the over exicted creature and pursed their lips. While, Xu Ting sighed and shook his head, and then pulled back the man holding his collar. And Xu Ting repriamed him, " Watch were are you going too. "
Tang Xuhang had just turned his head towards Xi Tong to complain on his behaviour, but then he heard him and Tang Xuhang realised he had indeed leaned a little too close to Ning Mei.
His face turned red and he hastily apologized. " I am Sorry, goddess! I did not mean any bad intentions!! Really! " He prayed that Ning Mei does not take his excitement as something creepy.
