Then he introduced Ning Mei and Yu Lian to each person in the room one by one, and vice versa. Then everybody went to the studio in the building.
Fa Heng had tagged along as well, and that took the other’s by surprise. Why is General manager tagging along with them for this? Was not the marketing manager also present here to check ?
They did not feel it such a big deal for him to tag along. But who could say anything about it.
The studio was well equipped with all required settingsz instruments and equipments. It had a small attached changing and make up room to it.
Entering the studio, no one wasted time as everybody got into doing their respective works. Before, the photographer’s assistant to tell a word, Fa Heng bet to him and politely told Ning Mei, "Miss Ning, till the camera and lightings are being ready you can please go and get changed and dressed for the first set of collection.
The first set of collection is.... " What? Turning to the assistant who stood with a paper in his hand with his lips pressed together as he looked at the General manager who was determined to steal his job.
" The first set of collection are the blue diamond ear studs. There are three pairs of ear studs with different designs. " The Assistant directly latched on his job and explained it to Ning Mei.
She showed her the designs to which she nodded attentively. Then before he could say something more, Fa Heng once more reminded them if his presence and said, "Miss Ning, so please hey changed. And if you need something please let us know. "
Everyone noticed Fa Heng’s strange actions and slightly narrowed their eyes. Yet, no body said anything at all.
Yu Lian on the other hand pressed her lips tighter. If he would not be the General Manager of Meilei, she would hammered his head till now casting some brains into it.
Ning Mei bit her lips as she nodded and she followed Yu Lian into the changing room.
She told to Yu Lian in a soft voice , ’This stupid General Manager! He seems hell bent on exposing my identity here! Here are more staffs working, and if he continues with this attitude, some or the other kind of rumour is bound to spread.
Take care of his matter. "
Yu Lian nodded.
They entered the changing room and already found a lady waiting there. She was arranging the makeup products, who turned to them when they entered and smiled at them politely.
She was the makeup artist, who would look after Ning Mei’s look for the shoot. After the three decided on the first look, the costume to be worn and the type of make up to be done, Yu Lian went to find Fa Heng and have a good talk with him. While, the makeup artist started to work on Ning Mei.
As earstuds are small pieces of jewellery, that is mostly worn with light looks, Ning Mei costume for the first set was decided to be a satin dress of the lightest blue shade. The theme of all the looks were different shades of blue and white. Something that would be mono chromatic with the jewellery, and would also be according to the significance of ’ Pure and spiritual. ’
And as her dress was sleeveless and V neck, her smooth arms and elegant neck were flaunted.
As the first set was earstuds, the pictures will be zoomed to her face and ears. The pictures in the first set would only be untill the chest atmost. Also the makeup was to be light for the piece of jewellery to shine.
As Ning Mei and the make up artist both got ready with it, Yu Lian excused the General Manager, who was talking to the Marketing manager, before the latter left the room, perhaps going back to his cabin. Yu Lian found him alone and asked if she could have a word with him.
Fa Heng hurriedly agreed to her and said, " Yes miss? Is everything alright? Does Miss Ning need something at all? "
Yu Lian sighed and shook her head and said, " It is all fine, Mr Fa. But I want to tell you is, don’t you think you are overdoing it a little? "
On her question, Fa Heng forrowed his brows in confusion and said, " Over doing? Why Miss Yu, have I done something wrong ? I have just been trying to make sure that the Big Boss’s wife does not face any problems at all."
" Well Mr Fa, I understand what you want to tell. But you see, Ning Mei is not here as Gu Yeze’s wife or a member of the Gu family, but as an individual artist. She is here solely for her work. And she does not want people in her work place to know her by Gu Yeze’s identity right now.
I hope you are understanding what I am trying to tell. The service you are trying to show to Gu Yeze’s wife, that is not what Ning Mei wants. Also it maybe giving wrong ideas and facts for rumours to those who are onlooking it.
I know you respect Gu Yehan and Gu Yeze a lot, but in the workplace Ning Mei wants to be treated as a normal artist. " On Yu Lian’s explanation, Fa Heng pondered over his actions and realised he did over do a little.
Fa Heng was now a little embarresed over his own silliness and rubbed his nose. And said, " I see what you are trying to say, Miss Yu. I indeed overdid a little.
Appolozies for any inconvenience created by me. I think it would be better if I return to my cabin right now.
But Miss Yu, I will be coming to check from time to time. It is an order from Boss. And please do not be worried, I will keep your words in mind. " Fa Heng said with a embarresed laugh.
Yu Lian smiled back and replied, " Yes, that fine, Mr Fa. "
After saying, she went back to check on Ning Mei.
