Then looking back at the flowers, she asked, " You brought this for me yourself? " Gu Yeze nodded to her question and anwered, " Yes. "

Only his assistant knew that he had himself handpicked each roses in the boquet out of hundred roses. And then almost wasted over thirty cards, writing the note and then tearing it up again, when he did not like it. This had Wen Xiao gritting his teeth out of annoyance.

Love was crazy. It made unexpected people do unimaginable things.

Who knew the devil like Gu Yeze would one day spent his time with flowers for his beloved.

Then she asked, " Did you have your dinner properly? " To which, Gu Yeze nodded and answered, " Yes and you? " Ning Mei too nodded and said, " I did. "

Again she asked, but this time her eyes squinting a little, " Did Gu Yehan tell you something? "

Gu Yeze pressed his lips for a second before replying, " Yes. "

" Did he tell you that I was pissed? "

"Yes. "

Then Ning Mei looked at him with big, curious eyes and blinked. She asked, " Do you think I am cute? "

Gu Yeze for a second did not reply, as in registering her sudden out of context question. Then he chuckled as he leaned forward without answering it. Leaning forward, he reached to her lips, his breath fanning her lips as both of them closed their eyes and shared a gentle kiss.

Gu Yeze breathed in her lips, as he cupped her face her face, and said, " Ofcourse, you are. " Ning Mei smiled against his lips, hearing his answer.

Gu Yeze then pulled away a little, his hands still cupping her face and he asked, " Are you still mad at me? But I only wanted to surprise you."

Ning Mei blinked at his question, then remembering in what context, he had asked the question, she got out of his hold and stepped off the bed.

Her actions caused Gu Yeze panicking again and anxiousness filled him again. He frowned as he saw her walk to the cupboard and slide it open. Then she pulled out a moderatly big box out of it. She put it on the bed , before climbing up the bed and crawling to the table on the other side of the bed and bring a uncover a plate and brought it to him.

Gu Yeze looked at the slices of cake on the plate with surprise. Earlier, he had not paid much attention to it as it was covered.

She cut a piece with the spoon before bringing it to his lips asking him to eat. Without any second’s delay, Gu Yeze opened his mouth and ate it. His eyes the next second showed genuine impression as he took in the bitter and sweet chocolaty taste of the cake. It was really so good. She fed him one spoon after another without allowing him to say anything else untill he finished two slices already.

Then passing him a glass of water, Ning Mei said, " I made this cake for you. And bought this for you. These are my thank you gifts for you. " Saying this, she opened the lid of the box revealing the neatly arranged suit inside it. Gu Yeze raised his brows slightly as he touched it, when he heard her say, " Now you can guess it yourself whether I am mad or not. "

Gu Yeze smiled and said, " Thank you for these. I loved them. " Ning Mei smiled when she heard him continue, " As you bought me gifts, it is only right for you that I give you one, isn’t it? "

She looked surprised by this words. With a tiny frown she asked, " Is there any more gifts for me too? "

Gu Yeze did not say anything else and got up. He fetched something from his suit and came back to her. When he sat in front of her in his previous position, Ning Mei could see what it was and her heart slightly picked up pace, though she had not seen the actual thing yet.

In his hand was a ring box. She breathed and slowly raised her head to look at Gu Yeze, who was already looking at her with a smile. He then said softly, " This is for us. " Saying so, he opened the life of the ring box, and Ning Mei’s eyes widened on seeing it.

Inside it were two rings, more accurately couple rings. Being a girl and always having keen knowledge about jewelleries, Ning Mei knew that those were platinum rings with diamond studded on it. The female one had a thinner band with small expensive diamonds studded around it and a larger diamond in the centre. It looked so beautiful and alluring, yet something that can be always worn.

And the male one was equally beautiful. It had a thicker band than the female one. It has sharp cuts and polished edges that made the ring look classy. And two small diamonds were studded slantingly vertical on it.

Ning Mei knew that this rings would have costed a fortune.

Raising her head and looking at Gu Yeze again, he said , " We will now have our wedding rings. "

Gu Yeze opened his palm and he asked for her hand and asked, " Shall I? " Ning Mei’s heart was now beating like crazy. She softly pitcher hand on his, and he slided the ring on her fourth finger.

After he was done, Ning Mei too followed suit and slided the ring on his finger.

Gu Yeze had ordered for the rings to be crafted on the very day they were married. And it had only arrived today.

After they had done putting it on each other’s fingers, both of them had their hearts beating like crazy.

Not being able to bear the turmoils in their hearts, they closed in the distance and locked their lips.

Gu Yeze cupped Ning Mei’s face, and Ning Mei snaked her hands around his neck, caressing his head and disappearing her fingers in his hairs.

Gu Yeze trailed his kisses from her lips to her jaw line then her neck. Ning Mei, yoo stretched back ger head giving him the perfect access to his advances.
