As she was switching channels, Ning Mei came across a channel broadcasting a drama. It was Feng Ye’s one of the two recent dramas that were aired. She remembered this particular one. It was a drama based on historical times.
Feng Ye had said that he enjoyed the cast a lot and he also used to send her a lot of pictures with his weird costumes. Since then she was indeed looking forward to watch it. But she never really got time.

As Ning Mei was enjoying her rare leisure time, her phone rang. She searched for it and then saw it was her brother in law calling.
’ Why is Gu Yehan calling at this time? Something happened or what?’ Ning Mei thought, as she answered the call. " Hello? ", She said.
" Hii, sister in law! What’s up? " came a cheerful response from Gu Yehan.
Hearing his cheerfull tone, Ning Mei answered with a smile, " Just enjoying my life. You say. How did you call me all of a sudden? "
Gu Yehan rubbed his nose on the other side and said, " Sister in law! Don’t tell me you forgot! Today we need to sign the contract! The shoot will be in three days! "
Ning Mei bit her tongue. And she replied, " Oops! I really did not remember. I was so happy about the offer , that I almost forgot that you were running out of time. "
Gu Yehan sighed dramatically and said, " Huh... Doesn’t matter. Now hurry! Tell me where are you? I need to meet you ASAP! We will sign the contract today. Oh my, do you know, sister in law, your husband is such a traynt!
He doesn’t even treat me as a human! I just had a loaf of bread since morning, and running around for this work in Meilei all day. And your husband says to return to the main office right after that. He will make me go through a load of files! Sniff** I am so pitiful. " Gu Yehan sniffed his sorrows dramatically and wiped his unflowed tears. And said, " Okay sister in law. Tell me Where are you. Ning Mei noticed some background noise and she understood that Gu Yehan must be in the car. And she hurriedly clearified, " Ahh.. actually no. I am not at set today. I took a day off for myself. I am at home. Come over. "

Wait, wait, wait! He had seen and heard too many Earth - shattering information at once! And this was very unhealthy for both his heart and mind!
First of all, what was with his boss?! For the first time he had seen Gu Yehan behave in such a frank and happy go lucky way! Other times, he had always seen Gu Yehan serious and as someone who only dwells with his work, just like the Big Boss, Gu Yeze.
This unnecessary jokes and fun should not exists in the work environment. Though, Gu Yehan was not so extreme like this brother, who was capable for freezing the entire surrounding around him with his coldness. He had had the privilege to meet Gu Yeze on a couple of occasions, and those meetings were forever printed on his mind. The only thing he remembered about that meeting was formalness and chills.
And though, Gu Yehan does not really spend too much of his time in Meilei, as he was also the Vice President of Gu Corporations. Still working under Gu Yehan for so many years, and overlooking the company, he had never seen his man so spoiledly and frankly taking to anyone!
Also, the most ground breaking news he heard today was GU YEZE WAS MARRIED !!!!
When ?! How ?! Where?! And how is the world so quiet about it! How was this still not a national affair!
Though, Gu Yeze’s appearance was a mystery to the normal public. Yet, only his name was a brand in itself!
He was rumoured to be ugly, yet, he is said to be the most soughted out candidate to be married! That man was crazily rich and powerful after all!
Only the fact that if his face reveal would be the news headlines for a whole month!
The General Manager could not believe how the news about his marriage was not breaking the news channels headlines yet!
The other thing he was not able to believe was, HE WAS GOING TO MEET LADY BOSS! She is literally the new mistress of the Gu family!
And.. And.. she was the same one who was the new model of their brand! Right now, the General manager wanted to slap himself silly.
He actually not really wanted to approve Ning Mei as the model for the blue diamond collection. He had no doubts that Ning Mei would really suit for presenting the collection. But the manager actually wanted his niece, who was also a model to get that job.
The had used the excuse that her portfolio wasn’t that impressive. But later, Gu Yehan scolded him and said, if someone will present the collection it would be Ning Mei or noone else!
So the man had nothing to do but to reluctantly agree to it. But later, when Gu Yehan had asked him to personally accompany him to meet Ning Mei, his was bewildered with rage! Why would he being a GM of the company go to a mere model for contract signing.
He was convinced that Gu Yehan had some affair with that girl. And he was bringing personal biases into work matters!
