But after that, Ning Jiming changed the story. He obviously had to emit Ning Mei’s involvement part. He remembered Ning Mei asking to change the story, so he said according to her script. He said that, just when he was about to fall unconscious due to the impact of the accident, he felt found a young man pulling him out of the car.
As it was an deliberate accidental case, the man feared that there will be some issues at the hospital. So, he took him to his house and treated him there. He used to call doctors at home, so that they could treat him in private. Ning Jiming spoke highly of the ’man’ who saved him.
He also said a blatant lie, that these few days he was in unexplainable pain, and would remain unconscious most of the time. Only a couple days, ago did he started recuperating. But he did not have the sense of date or time, that he could contact with the family.
Ning Jiming bit his tongue as he said. Only if they knew that, he wasn’t so helpess and in such terrible condition that he protrayed himself in front of them. But, he regained consciousness the second day, and had spent his days recuperating lavishly.
But anyway, Ning Jiming now realised why Ning Mei did what she did three years ago. Playing an innocent victim card, when you know your opponents sore area, seems fun.
Elder Ning sighed in relief. Atleast, his only grandson was alive and in a better condition. He was feeling immensely guilty for not being there when his grandson needed him. It was all thanks to the young man who saved Ning Jiming.
But the next second, anger surged back into his mind with full force , when he remembered about the accident. He asked Ning Jiming, " Jiming, did you see the man? Do you recognise him? "
Ning Jiming shook his head and said, " I saw his face. But I don’t recognise him. And even so I saw him, I could not have a very good look at his facial features. I just saw him for a few seconds before the accident. "
Elder Ning frowned harder and said, " Seems like there is some other person who hired someone to get the job done for them. Do you suspect someone? Someone who you think might hate you. To such extent that he resorts to killing you. "

" No. As I said, I only saw him. I don’t know how send him. Though, I guess it might be some business partners or competitors. But pin pointing on a particular person seems difficult. "
Hearing his words, Ning Yiyi released a sigh of relief. She was worried for nothing. No one is going to suspect her. She was his family after all.
Looking at relief wash over her face, Ning Jiming chuckled in his heart. No naive.
Well, but practically he did not lie so much. It can be simply just assumed Ning Mei to be replaced by the man in real life, who saved his life. She did not take him to her house but at the hospital, where he lived quite comfortably.
Now, thinking of that, he remembered Ning Mei avoiding the topic of where her house is. Seems like he had to ask her again later.
And if she had not told him about Ning Yiyi’s intentions, then he might have not known anything at all. If she would not be there on time, he would have either died till now or only know what he told to them.
Ning Jiming wasn’t going to lie. But when he heard about what Ning Mei reveled about Ning Yiyi, his heart ached a lot.
He had never expected it from her. And no matter what, but she was his own blood cousin, someone related by blood to him. They had grown up together.
