Ning Yiyi had a strong fanbase, while she was still new. It was one of the major concern that she could not shake off. Though, she had given her hundred percent, Ning Yiyi was also in the industry for long and also does it good.
Ning Mei slightly frowned as she thought of something. Seems like she could not only rely on others to popularise her. Orelse, it would be impossible to overthrow Ning Yiyi, in the so called competition.
After the shoot was done, and everybody happily returned back to the other work that they had, and some went back home. As it was almost dusk, and the sun will be setting soon now, Ning Mei decided to go back home, as she did not have anything scheduled for today.
While she was driving back, Ning Mei called Ning Jiming. He had returned back to the Ning Mansion last night. Ning Mei had asked him to play a small act, there.
Last night, when Ning Jiming came back he was asked where he was for a whole week. Ning Jiming, had recuperated now, but that did not mean that his his injuries and marks had completely healed from existence. His face and forehead still had a few marks.
At first, Ning Mei thought of blantantly lying that Ning Jiming wasn’t involved in the accident at all. She thought of just pasting the exact same excuse as a lie that Elder Ning belived that he had gone to some business related work.
But later, it seemed to have many loopholes. Ning Yiyi would easily catch them lying as, she had specifically ordered Ning Jiming’s car to be crashed. Also, his injuries spoke volumes.

Last night, Ning Mansion
Ning Jiming entered the home last night, with the guard at the entrance, supporting him. The guard helped him sit on the couch and then left to do his job.
Everyone was shocked to see him. As it was already night, everyone was already home.
Elder Ning had also returned from his friend’s place after staying there for a week.
When Elder Ning returned home, he did not understand fret about Ning Jiming’s absense, because he believed that Ning Jiming had gone for some business trip, as been told to him. And it wasn’t new for him to be absent for a few days like this.
He had also said the same thing to other family members, incase theily worried. So everyone did not think much about it, though Ning Yiyi’s case was different.
She had been spending her days, being so confused and filled with anxiety. These few days, neither she could confirm Ning Jiming’s death or his whereabouts, so that she could take preparation accordingly.
That man had told her that the work hard been done, but she did not get any evidence in hand of his death. The area where the accident had taken place is still under tight wraps of the police. And there was no way she could sneak out any NB was out of here.
Been a week now, Ning Yiyi started fretting. She paced around the room anxiously. Just a while ago, she had called that man and asked if he got any news, and he replied the same thing again , that he had done his job. Now, there is nothing he could do, if she does not get the news. Out of anger, Ning Yiyi had almost smashed her phone on the floor.
Hearing a commotion downstairs, Ning Yiyi came out of her room to see what was happening. And when she saw Ning Jiming sitting downstairs, with all her family members surrounding him, she almost froze in stress. What the hell! He died right?! How come he is not dead?!!
Ning Jiming, who was now currently sitting comfortably on the couch faking his pain took in everyone’s reaction. As all the members were already home by now, it was easier.
First, he saw Elder Ning who was the first to come by his side, as he had been already sitting in the living room when Ning Jiming entered. His face was red with anger when he saw his injuries on his grandson’s body.
He asked in worry, " How did this happen?"
Ning Jiming glanced at every other person in the room. Jiang Lihui and Ning Yushen looked at him with their eyebrows furrowed. They had an confused expression on their faces. Ning Yan was also there, who had a slight frown on her face. She was holding a nail shaper, as she continued to shape her nails. She did not seem to concerned about the matter.
Ning Jiming glanced across the room to find Ning Yiyi. He had asked from the guard and knows that everybody was home. Soon, he found her above the staircase looking down. He just passed a fleeting glance. And he could already tell, she was having a hard time on her mental health. She looked astonished and frozen. Just the expression he had expected.
Elder Ning again asked, " Why aren’t you saying something? "
Ning Jiming slowly turned his head and said, " I met with an accident. " Everyones frown deepened hearing this. But what he said next made all eyes widened in horror. "Someone tried to kill me. "
" What! Someone tried killing you?! " Elder Ning howled in anger and bewilderedly.
Ning Jiming side eyedly glanced at Ning Yiyi. As she was standing on top of the staircase, from where Ning Jiming sat, her figure fell directly behind Elder Ning.
He could tell she has turned pale like a paper, the moment she heard him. Ning Jiming nodded. He then recalled the scene during the accident. He also said about looking at the man who pressed the remote button.
But after that, he changed the story. He obviously had to emit Ning Mei’s involvement part. He remembered Ning Mei asking to change the story, so he said according to her script. He said that, just when he was about to fall unconscious due to the impact of the accident, he felt found a young man pulling him out of the car.
