The next day, Ning Mei felt the set early because the shooting for her scenes were done. She did not really meet Ning Yiyi face to face as her scenes were done earlier and Ning Yiyi’s scenes were to be fine later. And they both did not any any scene together.
Yu Lian asked her if she would accompany her to her home since Gu Yeze was not at home and Ning Mei lived in her appartment. But Ning Mei refused her saying that she had to go back early because she planned to pick up Gu Yeze from the airport.
Therefore, Yu Lian did not pester her anymore and Ning Mei went back to the villa.
She had told Gu Yeze already that she was coming to pick him up from the airport, so he waits for her and does not just leave without her.
Reaching home, she was greeted by Housekeeper Xu and other servants. She smiled at them and greeted them back sweetly.
Housekeeper Xu knew Ning Mei was nowadays busy with her work, and she went back to her apartment because she felt lonely without First Master here. And this made him respect her more. The more Housekeeper Xu got to know Ning Mei, the more he liked her.
She was a good human being and a sweet person. And not to mention, she was so much different from most other girls nowadays.
He had seen many young ladies from the upper circle of the society, who lack basic manners. They treat servants and maids who serve them 24X7 like shits.
If any other girl would have married, the first young master, they would not even be willing to take a glass of water by themselves least work to earn their own money.
Ning Mei was so different according to him. Not only was she so preety, she also worked hard to be financially independent, respected him and other servants working in the house and also the main reason, loves her husband so much.
Housekeeper Xu then asked Ning Mei, " First Mistress, you must be tired. Would you like to take something? "

Ning Mei opened the huge wardrobes that Gu Yeze had filled with clothes, accessories and cosmetics for her. And a very big problem arises here is, she always gets confused to what to wear!
Girls are strange creature. They always have two types of wardrobes. Either with very less clothes or with too many clothes. If they have less clothes, they cry saying they have nothing to wear. If they have many clothes, they again cry because they can’t decide on what to wear.
Looking at these clothes, she felt like she is going through an existential crisis!
Finally, she decided on a brown sleeveless jumpsuit with a v cut neckline. She tied her hairs in a high ponytail with two short strands of front hairs framing her face. Then Ning Mei did some minimal eye makeup, a light lipstick and she was good to go.
While Ning Mei was doing her makeup, a maid knocked on the door, with a tray of coffee and biscuits in her hand. Ning Mei looked at her direction and told her to come in.
She came in and kept the tray on the table beside her. Then the maid stood in her place for a few seconds as if wanting to say something but she could not muster up the courage. So, she turned back and was about to go, when Ning Mei realised it and said, " Did you want to say something? "
The maid surprisedly looked at her smiling. She smiled back a little shyly and said, "No... " Ning Mei could see that the woman was hesitating, so she encouraged her, " It’s okay. Tell me what is on your mind. " The lady looked in her mid thirties and looked kind.
" Actually, I wanted to say that you are so pretty. Really beautiful. " On hearing this, Ning Mei blinked her eyes in surprise then, heard her continue,
" Madam, you and Sir, look so good together. Just like a couple made in heaven. And if Sir is a little rude at times, please do not mind. He sometimes behaves rudely but he is really good at heart.
And he really loves you lot. "
Ning Mei giggled and she asked the woman, "And how do you know, that he loves me?"
The maid blinked confusedly and said, " It is so obvious Madam. You both look so in love with each other. And if he would not love you, no woman in the planet is able to make him marry her. Even Elder Madam and Madam got tired telling him to get married or atleast get a girlfriend. "
Ning Mei thanked her for her compliments and after the maid left, Ning Mei felt that she was in her sweet bubble as she sipped on her coffee.
It was true that she and Gu Yeze did look so good together. Just like a match made in heaven . And, thinking of it, maybe Gu Yeze did not love her, but she was definitely sure that he likes her a lot.
And just thinking about it, Ning Mei got butterflies in her stomach.
And maybe, she should reward he husband tonight... He has been away for quite some time now.
So Ning Mei looked at the time, for Gu Yeze’s flight to land and left home accordingly.
