Chapter 128: CANDLE LIGHT DINNER

Ning Mei who didn’t notice this small interaction replied sweetly, " Good evening Manager."

The Manager was sweating buckets, with the devil’s glance hurriedly turned his head towards her and said after clearing this throat. " A warm welcome to the both of you. Everything is ready according to your wish. Please follow me. " And he turned in his heels and started walking.

Inwardly he wandered what was this pretty woman doing with this scary man? But the next second he released an inaudible sigh and thought what was he thinking women like handsome men with money nowadays. Who cares of their little heart?

Unknown to the thoughts in the mind of the man in front of them, the couple were on their own world. Ning Mei slipped her hand out that was hooked with Gu Yeze’s hand and entangled their fingers together.

She then raised her head and looked at him with a heart throbbing smile. Gu Yeze too looked back at her. Though their was no apparent smile on his lips, but his twinkling and happy eyes gave out that he was in an obvious good mood.

Turning his head towarda her, he slightly raised his brow, without saying anything. Ning Mei giggled and said, "What? Did you forget I am in a mission in making you fall in love with me? So I am only doing my work and you have no reasons to question or stop me. You can only comply with me, okay!"

Gu Yeze lightly chuckled and said, " I did not say anything. And by the way, I am also looking forward to see myself falling for someone. Can you do it ?"

Ning Mei almost got entranced by his laugh again like everytime. She shook her head and then said somewhat smugly, "What? If I can’t do, no one can, okay! And what are you saying?! You are my husband! Legally wedded husband! You can only love me and fall for me ! No one else! And if anyone dares to make any advances towards you, she would better forget about seeing the sun next day!"

Ning Mei was all red with anger. How can her newly wedded husband say something like that! Was he already wanting someone else to try on him! She hasn’t even shown her magic yet !

Ofcourse this all was the great Ning Mei’s stupid over thinking. All this never even came into Gu Yeze’s mind. He actually stared at her ,quite amazed, with how her mind was so imaginative to go to such extent in merry seconds.

He chuckled and squeezed hwr hand lightly and said ," I didn’t mean that. All I wanted to say that I am looking forward to what you are going to do ahead."

Ning Mei glared at him with a small pout on her lips and said, " You better. And act like a obidient husband. And u warn you, never try to cheat me , you get it!? "

Gu Yeze chuckled and nodded his head in agreement. He didn’t have any such plans either. He already got all he wanted in his life for now.

While the two of them were having their hearts overflowing with love for one another. The poor manager at the front was getting chills as he listened to their conversation.

As the very recent spectator, he obviously didn’t know the internal news about it, about Ning Mei blackmailing him to marry her and all that. From what he heard, he could say that that man in a gone case lover for his wife.

He was not new in this world and he knew how to recognise people. He could tell in one glance that this man was absolutely not someone you can mess with. And him being so sweet and listening and agreeing to the woman only shows that he loves her a lot. And if not, he is probably dreaming all this years on earth.

He led the couple to the highest floor and showed them their room and he took his leave after they entered the room and he closed the door respectfully. Yes, he had to do that. After all, Ning Mei booked the most expensive room and paid a hefty sum of money for the arrangements tonight. Also, she seemed to be acquainted with the Young Mistress of the Yu family.

As the door closed, Ning Mei let go of his hand and strode forward. While, Gu Yeze was left stunned there. Well, because he was witnessing something he didn’t think of. Not that he never saw, but...

The walls of the room was made of glass on the three sides and it was on the highest floor. The room room was decorated in red and golden. With golden lighting, and red rose petals decorated everywhere. There was a table in the middle. A perfect romantic candle light dinner.

And they could get the beautiful night view of the Imperial City. The different colored lights twinkling, giving a marvelous view.

Gu Yeze turned his head to see a big bouquet of flowers moving towards him. Well, actually it was Ning Mei carrying the bouquet. But it was so huge that it hid half of her body. And she stopped before him. Holding the bouquet in front of him, and revealing her face, she flashed him her sweet and charming smile and said, "Congratulations on your marriage to me, Mr. Gu. "

Gu Yeze didn’t know how to react for a while. He was seriously stunned. After a while, he seemed to gain back some senses and he chuckled in awe.

’How is this woman was able to surprise him like this? She always seem to things that he didn’t think of.’

Seeing, Gu Yeze didn’t react, she said again, "Hubby?? Where did you get lost...? Your wifey is talking to you... "

Gu Yeze came out of his thoughts and lighty shook his head. Flashing a smile, he took the bouquet from her hands and said, "Thank you, Mrs. Gu. "

Ning Mei pursed her lips in happiness hearing her new title from his mouth. She then asked him excitedly, "So, did you like all this arrangements??! "

Gu Yeze raised his brows and asked in humour, " All this is for me? "
