It was already dark when a shiny black SUV pulled up in front of a colorfully lit street. This time too, Gu Yeze didn’t bring his chauffeur and drove here by himself. He wanted to spend as much time possible with his wife. And he absolutely didn’t want a third wheel or even a low voltage light bulb of any sort.
Gu Yeze lowered the window of his car and looked outside for Ning Mei. He took out his phone and was about to call, "Dear wifey" when someone knocked on the window of the other side. It was dark so he couldn’t see the face very well from inside. But he didn’t need to even take a second to realize that silhouette. It was none other than his wife.
Without wasting anytime, he unlocked the door and Ning Mei got in the car. He turned to look her with smiling eyes, but his whole being came to a screeching halt when he saw her. Gu Yeze froze and after three seconds softly gulped.
Well, his expressions was acceptable because the view in front of him was just...
Ning Mei turned towards him with a smile. And that smile sucked away whatever bits of soul was left in Gu Yeze’s body. He was completely enchanted. She wore a black off shoulder Bodycon dress, that reached just below her knees.
Her hairs were tied in a loose bun with strands of hairs framing her small face. She had minimum makeup, but had a strucking red lipstick on. All in all, she had a bold and hot look but was not at all over the top, making it gross in any way.
If anything she looked damned sexy.
Gu Yeze was so caught up with her look that he almost forgot to breath. Finally regaining himself, he subtly cleared his throat. He opened his mouth to greet her but before he could utter even a single syllable, Ning Mei leaned forward and wrapped both her arms around his neck and placed a soft kiss on his cheek, near his ears.
It felt such a heavenly sensation that Gu Yeze felt that he could melt away anytime. His hands, heart, body, soul, his whole being was itching to just mash her body with his. But sadly he couldn’t. Damn him for coming up with that stupid idea of being a strong hearted man in front of his wife! Now his wife was seducing him and he couldn’t even be too openly seduced!
It too all his self restraint to keep himself composed and gently pulled his head away after the kiss and asked, "All done? "
But Ning Mei completely disregarded his question and kept clinging on him and said, "Hubby ~ Did you miss me? "
Gu Yeze lightly cleared his throat and said, "It’s just the first day. And only a few hours. I did think of you though. "
But Ning Mei whined, "Ahh.. You didn’t miss me? Thinking and missing are different things! But I missed you so much... I kept thinking of you all day and wished I could grow two wings and fly over to you. "
Looking at her adorable self, Gu Yeze chuckled. Only he knew how much he missed her. He even entertained the idea of tying her to himself so that she always stays with him.
She was still clinged to him and she was making his body excited. He lightly held her arm and said gently, "Okay, I think I need to drive now. " But his words came out of his mouth in a voice that itself looked reluctant.
The next second, Ning Mei moved, but instead of backing down she came forward and directly made her place on the driver’s seat on top of Gu Yeze’s lap. "This is a better place. " She said with a smirk.
Gu Yeze suppressed a grin and said, "But how will I drive now? " Ning Mei shrugged her shoulders and said, "That I don’t know. You were in a hurry to drive and not listen to me, so drive now. "
He chuckled and subconsciously put his hands on her waist and said, "Okay. Say what you have got. " On hearing him, Ning Mei pouted and complained, "I spent so much time for getting ready for you today. But you didn’t even compliment me. So first, I need some compliments. "
Gu Yeze nodded and said, "You look really gorgeous today. " Now, it was not that, that he was being stingy with praises, but he honestly was not so good with complimenting girls. He tried to find more words that would show that he really liked her look, but at the same time not make him look very mushy. But all that he could see in his head was a blank white space.
But Ning Mei hugged him tighter and squealed, "Aww... Thank you so much. " For her, this man complimenting her with even one word was worth lots!
And then she said, "Do you know, hubby. I have two good news today!"
Gu Yeze could clearly see the happiness gushing out of her eyes like river and he said with one of his eyebrows slightly raised, "Oh really? So what are they? "
Ning Mei smiled widely, flashing get beautiful set of teeth and told him all that happened today. With her still sitting on his lap, even Gu Yeze didn’t know when his hands crawled up to her waist and started caressing her back. He listened to her carefully. And she had all his attention in the world.
"See! Wasn’t today’s day a really lucky one!!! " Ning Mei exclaimed after talking a deep breath. She really wanted to share all her joy and sorrow with this husband of hers.
The next second, Gu Yeze brought on of his hand forward and gently patted her head, "Congratulations wife." And that was it. Ning Mei could literally see fireworks in her head. She widened her eyes and said dumbly, "You just called me ’Wife’ ? "
Gu Yeze nodded and asked with his head slightly titled, "Isn’t it a normal thing for me to do?" Ning Mei hurriedly nodded her head like a rattledrum and said, "It is. It is. "
Yes, it was. But for Ning Mei is was still a big thing. Ahh... Today’s day is great! Literally the best day in her life yet!
