Now that all the work related discussions were over, it was time to break into the food! Ofcourse, no doubt that was the most important thing to do there!
Before starting, Ning Mei for the sake of politeness ans courtesy, stood up and bowed to Wang Zhiyuan and said, "Thank you so much, Director Wang. This means a lot to me. I will never ever forget your kindness and the help you did today. "
Wang Zhiyuan laughed and gave away all his reserved behavior. He relaxed himself in his chair and waved his hands, "We are humans. And we all follow the give and take policy. I give you the role, you give me your best! "
The two of them, Ning Mei and Yu Lian smiled and nodded. And the next moment, they all attacked the delicious, mouth watering food before them that seemed to call them towards it.
But Wang Zhiyuan was left speechless when he saw that before his fork could even reach his lips, the two girls had already gobbled 1/4 th of their plates.
Wang Zhiyuan looked at them with blinking eyes and wondered for how many centuries were these two maidens starving for? But anyways, good for them that they had good appetite. Atleast, they did not have so much of fake pretense like some girls these days.
Wang Zhiyuan smiled, that crinkled the skin near his eyes and lighty shook his head helplessly. And then he too focused on his food.
After everyone had a hearty meal and were all full stomach, they rested. Wang Zhiyuan left soon and Yu Lian turned to Ning Mei with bright star filled eyes.
And she said with a proud- to- the -skies tone, "So Miss Meimei, how do you want to compliment this best friend of yours? " Ning Mei looked at Yu Lian, whose nose was just about to grow wings on it and fly away high. She laughed and then directly threw her body in her arms and said, " Babe, I love you... You are the bestest of the best in the whole wide world, no, no, in the whole wide universe! No one can match you in friendship! "
And Ning Mei showered her with all the high level praises that she could remember. Though it sounded utterly cringy, when did it matter to this two girls.
Yu Lian nodded her head in satisfaction and then said, "That’s more like it. Do you know I broke a huge principle of mine today, by taking my Dad’s help?"
Ning Mei nodded her head like a rattledrum and said, "Ofcourse I know. You and your principles, both. You had sworn to not take any help from your family regarding the work matters. And that you would achieve everything by your own. "
Yu Lian nodded with a pout and said, "Exactly! And I have never done this for any of my artist before! " But then her pout turned into a smile and she said, "But it’s completely fine as long as I am doing it for you.... "
On hearing this, Ning Mei grinned and pulled into another hug, but then Yu Lian completed her sentence, "If this is the way to be richer faster... " The next second, Ning Mei’s lips twitched and she pinched Yu Lian’s cheek ,turning it slightly red.
"Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow, Ow!!! It hurts! " Yu Lian complained. Ning Mei laughed and said," Does it?" And she started pinching and tickling her even more. The room soon was filled with the bell like laughter to the two girls.

"Alright, Meimei, I need to go. The flight is about to land." Yu Lian stood up as she glanced at her watch. Ning Mei passed her a questioning look and said, "Are you going to your father’s company?"
Though Yu Lian was not into business, she still had some good number of shares in her father’s company. So she often used to visit it, to learn who things worked out.
But Yu Lian shook her head and said, "No.. Not today. " " Then? " Ning Mei questioned.
"Did you forget, I told you last time that Nian Ting is coming back to the city and according to my dear parents and so called ’in laws’ wish, I need to go pick him up from the airport. " Yu Lian said with a smirk.
Ning Mei could clearly see the cunningness and mischievously in her smirk and she didn’t need to be told twice that this best friend of hers was going to do something crazy. Ning Mei showed her two big thumbs up and winked her eyes and said, "Let’s go bestie...!"
Yu Lian chuckled and winked back. And said, "Just wait for me to come back and narrate the incidents to you! " Nibg Mei laughed and said, "Sure. "
They both got up and left the restraunt and Yu Lian offered, "Let me drop you home first. "
On hearing this, Ning Mei instantly shook her head in denial and said, "Um.. No need for that . You go do your thing, I will return by myself. I also have some things to do."
She right now couldn’t say Yu Lian about her marriage. And now her home was not that small cozy apartment too. And on top of that, she had some really important business to be done today before dawn.
Yu Lian looked at her hesitantly and asked, "Are you sure, little girl? "
Ning Mei made a perfect sign with her hand (??) and said, "Perfectly sure! And I am not a little kid. This lady has learned something, alright. Now you go. "
Yu Lian shook her head and said, "Alright, alright..." And she walked towards her car. Waving her one last time, she finally drove off her sight.

I am so.... Sorry ~ I know I promised a mass release. But it is already 4 days and there was no Chapters too. I am so sorry...
It is all my fault. My dumbass self slipped and sprained my leg so very badly during my dance practice. And it was in a horrible condition.
I know I don’t write with her feets... But still the ache was unbearable , so I couldn’t. But don’t worry. Now I am okay. And I will surely fulfil my promise..
