Chapter 3015: The Insatiable Hunger Of The Unkillable Maworm

Chapter 3015: The Insatiable Hunger Of The Unkillable Maworm

Date: Unspecified

Time: Unspecified

Location: Myriad Realms, Void, Hundred Frost Domain, Frost Maze

I conjured a primordial calamity daughter gem directly onto the palm holding the Insatiable Jar, subtly seeding the crystal into the petrified flesh. The moment the relic’s newborn, plague-infected will willingly integrated with the gem, it triggered a sudden and massive mutation.

Vicious thorns erupted across its petrified outer surface, and its tightly closed, puckered mouth perturbed outward, shifting into a sharp, diamond-tipped bud—or to be more accurate, a terrifying, carnivorous bud lined with rows of teeth.

The thorns on its shell began to violently twitch, rotating like miniature drill bits. The moment the mutated relic began to wiggle and squirm on my palm, I let go of it. Dropping onto the frozen floor, it immediately burrowed straight into the solid ice.

A second later, its head violently surfaced a few feet away, only this time it was vastly bigger. Looking at the sheer scale of the creature, the only point of comparison that came to mind was Lil’ Baem’s head in her fully unleashed form.

Its massive, bud-like head split wide open, revealing rings of razor-sharp teeth. Without warning, the monstrosity let out a deafening sonic screech that instantly shattered the surrounding ice walls and fractured the rearranging staircases. As the shockwave rippled through the multi-domain, the creature began spraying a thick, pressurized deluge of the black mist—which now appeared to be a variant of my innate calamity, the World-Devouring Plague.

Seeing it fully transformed, a piece of ancient lore clicked into place. I finally knew exactly what creature’s stomach the Insatiable Jar relic had been carved from.

It was an extinct, primordial creature, Maworm.

During their golden age, those colossal monstrosities used to terrorize the Myriad Realms, driven by an insatiable appetite so profound they wouldn’t be satisfied even after devouring their entire home planet. They had earned a mythical reputation for being utterly unkillable. The primordial essence within my Calamity Daughter Gem hadn’t just mutated the relic—it had functionally reawakened the dormant unkillable bloodline of the extinct predator, rebirthing it as a Primordial Calamity Daughter Gem bound to me in eternal servitude.

Right on cue, a rapid series of prompts began to sound from my grimoire, chiming in quick succession.

[Your cursed primordial bloodline has deemed the Maworm primordial calamity daughter gem worthy to inherit it.]

[Your Maworm primordial calamity daughter gem has inherited your cursed primordial bloodline.

Bloodline Purity: 97%]

[Your Maworm primordial calamity daughter gem’s authority tier has increased.

Partner-Tier >>> Bloodkin-Tier.]

The Maworm had successfully inherited my cursed primordial blood and became my bloodkin, it was as if its mythical appetite had been magnified tenfold, the dense black mist surged outward with terrifying velocity, blanketing the corridors and infecting every single structural element in its path.

The moment the black mist compromised a target, the infected matter was instantly warped and sucked straight into the Maworm’s bottomless stomach, incapable of putting up even the slightest shred of resistance. The efficiency of its hunting method was absolute.

The ice walls and rearranging staircases surrounding us weren’t animated objects, they were the actively transformed prefect clones of the Snow Elven Crown Prince, executing his will using the multi-domains authority to manipulate the very fabric of local space as they rearranged themselves.

Yet, despite their spatial mastery and Ruler-class heritage, Thalorien’s clones failed to mount even a microscopic struggle against the Maworm’s insatiable hunger. It was as if they were stripped of their domain authority the moment the mist infected them, reducing to mere calories in its stomach.

The Maworm was already considered a mythically unkillable, prehistoric nightmare. Now that it was a bloodkin, it was truly a unkillable, fitting its reputation. I felt absolutely no reservations about letting it completely let loose and systematically devour the entirety of the Hundred Frost domain.

In fact, a cold, dark curiosity took hold of me—I genuinely wanted to see if this single newborn terror could succeed in eating a combo of hundreds of frost domains out from under the Crown Prince.

With my silent permission echoing through our shared tether, the massive, tooth-lined bud wiggled its armored form and burrowed directly back into the maze floor. It dove into the foundations of the multi-domain, eager to enjoy the ultimate, all-you-can-eat ice buffet.

Far below the surface, the deep, structural groans of the domain began to change from mechanical shifting to the frantic, hollow vibrations of a collapsing ecosystem. Thalorien’s grand trap had officially turned into a feeding pit for his own ruin.

Meanwhile, inside the reflection dimension of the Mirror Devil Uno, the mercenary team stood shell-shocked by the grotesque, apocalyptic transformation of the Insatiable Jar. The casual arrogance that usually defined these high-tier vagabonds had completely evaporated, replaced by the cold sweat of realization.

The jackfruit-skinned devil slowly walked over, placing a heavy, trembling hand on the shoulder of the robed devil. His multiple eyes were fixed on the terrifying silhouette of the burrowing Maworm visible through the glass-like barrier. "Since when can your family heirloom do that?" he asked, his voice strained.

"If I knew it possessed that kind of monstrous ability, I wouldn’t have become a lawless mercenary," the robed devil replied bitterly. He aggressively brushed the hand off his shoulder and turned away, his newly regenerated fists clenching as he prepared to walk deeper into the safety of the reflection domain. "I would have used it to become a revered retainer in an ancient Ruler-class force."

He took two steps before pausing dead in his tracks.

"You still think you can take it off his corpse?"

The Mirror Devil Uno’s quiet, piercing question hung heavily in the reflective air. The mercenaries all turned their gazes back toward the material corridor, watching the masked curse master floating perfectly unbothered amidst a storm of black mist, now they knew why the Crown Prince had enthusiastically offered such a high price to take out one curse master.

The rules of the hunt had been thoroughly broken to point that the line between the predator and the prey was no longer just blurred—it was entirely obliterated. They were no longer sure who was hunting whom.
