Qin Jiao rarely called Shen Yi "husband" so directly, and hearing it now thrilled him. He pulled her into a hug and started kissing her.
He whispered huskily, nibbling her ear, "I’m hungry too..."
Qin Jiao patted her belly and smiled gently. "Be good. You’ll have to bear it, even if you’re hungry. Now, off to the kitchen. Go make dinner for your dear wife."
