Although Selene Larkin hadn’t finished speaking, River Larkin understood what she meant.

Miles Sanctus didn’t truly love Stella Sterling; he just wanted to use her.

If it was just about using her, then once Boss Saint got what he wanted, he would surely stop being as accommodating toward Stella Sterling as he was now.

And at that point, Selene Larkin was Noon Sanctus’s right-hand woman.

When the time came to get revenge on Stella Sterling, Miles Sanctus might very well agree to it.

"Winning over Stella Sterling is just a matter of time. Once she falls for my big brother, the forces behind her will slowly be dismantled by him."

"At that point, no matter how capable Stella Sterling is, she’ll be completely powerless to resist."

Selene Larkin had immense confidence in Miles Sanctus. Who was her big brother? He was the man who had personally led Sanctyr Base to its current status.

Although he hadn’t founded Sanctyr Base by himself, he had been the one to personally lead it to this point.

She had been among the first to follow him, helping him conquer this territory.

Her big brother was capable, his methods were effective, and his looks were exceptional.

When a man like that set his mind to pursuing someone, what woman could possibly resist!

Besides, from what she saw today, Stella Sterling didn’t reject their boss’s advances. That meant she wasn’t completely uninterested in her big brother.

Hearing her words, River Larkin nodded. He hoped so too.

But seeing how confident Selene Larkin was, he didn’t feel it was his place to say more.

’In truth, rather than relying on Miles Sanctus to win over Stella Sterling, I’m actually hoping for a different outcome.’

He fell silent, his mind replaying an image of Stella Sterling and, beside her, Miles Sanctus. It was hard to say what he was truly thinking.

In his heart, he hoped Miles Sanctus would fail in his pursuit. Then, furious from the humiliation, he would start a fight with Stella Sterling.

A fight between the two of them... that would certainly be a spectacle.

He hated Stella Sterling and wanted to take revenge on her.

He had come to hate Miles Sanctus as well.

If the two of them actually came to blows, now *that* would be a truly satisfying sight.

Then he could just sit back and watch them destroy each other.

’But I don’t know if I’ll ever get such a chance!’

Miles Sanctus was currently focused only on pleasing Stella Sterling, accommodating her to an incredible degree. Seeing them fight would likely be no easy feat.

’It’s probably just wishful thinking.’

But he knew, deep down, that even if it was just a thought, he could never say it aloud to Selene Larkin.
