Chapter 510: She Blew It Up
Chapter 510: Chapter 510: She Blew It Up
"Hey, who are you? How in the world did you get in?"
Elio Lynch looked at the silent Nina Jacobs and asked.
They were quite happy to have found Nia Quinn here.
But they had sealed off Quelldra County for a long time, and they had killed anyone who tried to enter during that period.
He was genuinely curious how this woman had managed to slip in undetected.
Before Nina Jacobs could answer, one of his companions said with a laugh,
"We really have her to thank. Otherwise, Nia would definitely still be playing hide-and-seek with us."
’Hide-and-seek?’
It was clear these people weren’t here to kill Nia Quinn.
’Then the one who blew this place to smithereens... was Nia Quinn?’
Her suspicion was quickly confirmed. Several metal spheres appeared between Nia Quinn’s fingers.
"My weapons aren’t meant for killing people, only zombies! You’re forcing my hand!"
Nia Quinn said.
"Oh? Is our little wildcat about to bite again?
Be a good girl and come to me. I’ll comfort you."
A long-haired woman approached Nia Quinn slowly, a smile on her face.
She seemed certain Nia Quinn wouldn’t attack.
Watching the woman press closer, Nia Quinn gritted her teeth and threw the metal spheres in her hand.
The sound of an explosion was accompanied by billowing smoke.
Nina Jacobs felt someone beside her pull her away.
The thick dust and smoke made it impossible to open one’s eyes.
Tears streamed uncontrollably from the eyes of Elio Lynch and the others. "Damn it! How many more of those weapons does she have?"
"What did I tell you? She’s a walking armory."
A curtain of wind around Eleanor Driscoll shielded her from the dust and smoke.
She watched the direction the two had fled, then used her Wind Element Superpower to blow away the smoke. Pointing in a certain direction, she said,
"Looks like our game of cat and mouse will have to continue. Martin, you and the others go after them. If you can’t get her to cooperate, break her legs and bring her back."
Her gentle smile was gone, all the patience on her face already exhausted.
Over the past half-month, Nia Quinn had already killed seventeen or eighteen of their people.
But they could only choose to endure it.
"That’s not a good idea. How will we answer to *him*?"
Elio Lynch said with some hesitation.
"The weather has taken a sudden turn. For Miss Nia’s safety, some forceful measures are unavoidable."
Isabelle Driscoll said.
If they didn’t head back soon, they probably wouldn’t be able to complete their mission.
"Yes, ma’am!"
Martin Dixon led the other four and ran in the direction Eleanor Driscoll had pointed, their figures vanishing in an instant.
At that moment, Nina Jacobs was being pulled through the ruins by Nia Quinn.
"We have to run faster! They have a few Speed Element Superpower Users! Where’s the path you used to get in?"
As she ran, Nia Quinn took out some small spheres and placed them under the rubble.
Nina Jacobs guessed they were also some kind of weapon.
Sure enough, the sound of explosions soon came from behind them.
"Follow me."
Nina Jacobs led Nia Quinn in another direction.
Nia Quinn blinked.
Nina Jacobs was actually leading her right into a pile of broken walls and rubble.
The walls before them automatically parted, layer by layer.
Stones on the ground floated into the air, revealing a small path that should have been there all along.
After the two passed, the stones fell back into place, and the walls returned to their ruined appearance.
But after walking out of there, Nina Jacobs stopped.
"What’s wrong?"
Nia Quinn asked.
"Looks like we won’t be able to leave for a while."
Nina Jacobs hadn’t held out much hope of escaping in the first place.
The reason she had snuck in was to look for supplies, but it was now clear there were no traces of any supplies left in all of Quelldra County.
"So this is how you got in."
Elio Lynch had already caught up with his people.
"You’ve got some nerve. Looks like you’re capable, too.
Nia, don’t you dare let her fool you."
Elio Lynch said.
"I’d rather die than go back with you."
Nia Quinn said, standing behind Nina Jacobs.
"If not with us, then with her?
She won’t live either. I might as well kill her right now!"
As Elio Lynch finished speaking, he immediately conjured a Stone Spike and sent it flying at Nina Jacobs!
However, to everyone’s surprise, though Nina Jacobs hadn’t even moved, the Stone Spike stopped its attack in mid-air.
The Stone Spike trembled nonstop, as if controlled by some force, and actually turned to attack Elio Lynch.
Elio Lynch frowned.
It was obvious: the opponent was also an Earth Element Superpower User, and her Superpower was suppressing his.
"Anyone who blocks my path again will die."
The Stone Spike crumbled to dust in mid-air as Nina Jacobs spoke, her expression blank.
Since there were no supplies here, she didn’t plan on wasting any more time.
According to her travel plan, they could reach the vicinity of Riventon Base today.
"You think you can be this arrogant just because you have a little power?
But arrogant people don’t usually live very long. Elio Lynch, are you going to start taking this seriously?"
Eleanor Driscoll had also walked over and said.
"Stay out of it. I want to see what she’s really capable of!"
Elio Lynch’s previous Stone Spike was just a probe. When he attacked again, he found that Nina Jacobs opposite him merely gave him a light glance.
Her gaze seemed to hold both contempt and dismissal.
Earth Element Superpower streamed from both of Elio Lynch’s hands, and in an instant, the surrounding area was a whirlwind of flying sand and stones.
Using the materials readily available in the ruins, Elio Lynch easily created hundreds of Stone Spikes.
The Stone Spikes attacked Nina Jacobs from all directions, leaving no blind spots!
Nina Jacobs still stood in place. She just gently raised her hand, and as if time had frozen, the hundreds of Stone Spikes all stopped in mid-air.
Before everyone’s astonished eyes, all the Stone Spikes instantly turned to sand!
The flowing sand spun and coalesced, then instantly shot back toward Elio Lynch.
Elio Lynch hurriedly conjured a Stone Shield to block the blow, but the seemingly soft, flowing sand struck with immense Attack Power, sending his body flying backward!
Elio Lynch expected to be slammed into the ground, but the flowing sand easily caught him in mid-air.
Before he could even react, a sharp pain pierced him from behind.
"Elio Lynch!"
Eleanor Driscoll hadn’t expected this at all.
Elio Lynch’s body was suspended horizontally in mid-air, bound by coils of flowing sand. A sharp spike formed from the sand had pierced straight through his back and into his heart.
The others all reacted, and in an instant, all of their Superpowers struck toward Nina Jacobs alone!
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The brunt of the various Superpowers was blocked by a wall of sand.
"I already said it. Those who block my path will die."
Nina Jacobs said, standing beneath a Diamond Sand Cover.
"You killed my man, so you can forget about living!"
Eleanor Driscoll was a Wind Element Superpower User, and she had already leaped into mid-air.
"This is trouble. Maybe you should just run."
Just then, Nia Quinn, who had been standing in the back, clicked her tongue. She continued,
"I’ll go back with them. They won’t kill me. I can always escape again when I get the chance."
"It’s useless."
Things had already reached this point; the enemy wasn’t going to back down.
Because from the very beginning, they never intended to let her leave alive.
"Besides, I told you I would get you out of here."
After Nina Jacobs spoke, Nia Quinn froze for a moment.
She gave Nina Jacobs a complicated look.
Her expression showed confusion and conflict.
And in the next second, Eleanor Driscoll was already directing all the Thunder Element Superpower Users to strike at Nina Jacobs’s sand shield!
Facing the attack of six Thunder Element Superpower Users, Nina Jacobs actually withdrew her sand shield.
"Is she insane?"
Eleanor Driscoll stared at Nina Jacobs, who had no intention of dodging. ’Is she actually planning to face six of them head-on?!’
